WAYDTGKU: SMEP It Up: All in. (It's just like the dance movie franchise, except that it's completely different.)
 
R/R: I think I O today. Yay! DH and I are going to the movies tonight to see Bohemian Rhapsody. We didn't get a chance to hit up Universal yesterday because my audition lasted a gazillion hours, so we'll go tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

CS/Q: I'm not sure what's going on with my chart. I'll see what my temp is tomorrow to try and get some clarity.

I’m sorry you didn’t get to partake in Harry Potter Land yesterday...but isn’t it a good sign that your audition lasted forever?? Either that or they were grossly unorganized (which I’m hoping isn’t true!) I missed the HP talk yesterday, so for the record I’m Gryffindor!

WAYDTGKU: Ordering OPKs from Amazon. Can’t decide if I should order a few, or a buttload. Maybe I order a lot then I get KU next month?🤣
 
R/R: Busy day yesterday, boo. No plans this weekend - DH is finally taking a day off!!  Man had worked everyday since Black Friday, whew!

WAYDTGKU: SMEP: Bring it on again! 

R/R: well, I got my +OPK this morning. However, my temperature already appears to have risen. We'll see what my CM does today, but it's a freaking mystery what's happening this cycle. Normally OPKs, BBT, and CM all agree on O date. Thankfully, not even that can't dampen my mood today. YAY WEEKEND! 

CS/Q: Too lazy.

Also hi @lillywonderland! I personally would order a ton. Can't hurt right? I thought ordering a full year subscription to my charting app would immediately impregnate me. It did not.

@lillywonderland Yay for The Mighty Ducks! I used to LOVE that movie. And ten points for Gryffindor! I'm glad that your DH finally got a day off! I also agree that you should buy all of the OPKs.

@jennifer_louise The audition went well enough, but we had to audition with kids and that is always a challenge. In the industry, they always say to never work with kids or animals. WOO-HOO! Positive OPK party! Go HIO, girl!

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, PNV, Aspirin, maybe HIO???
 
R/R: So, I ended up getting a UTI this week ugh.  I'm not sure what this does to our SMEP schedule.  I think we're going to wait until I get a positive OPK and then go go go!  My antibiotics only last for 5 days, so that isn't too bad.  It's just...why did I have to get a UTI now?? I haven't had one in 10 years

CS/Q: No signs of O in sight

R/R: Have a christmas party tonight with DH’s family and need to get some baking done before that. I’m trying to decide between christmas crack or peanut butter cup cookies, my 2 go-to recipes. I think this year I will only do those and oat fudge bars because my schedule is so busy. I go back to work tomorrow and need to start SMEP. Hopefully I can keep up with the SMEP schedule during my crazy week! Also we are going to stay with family over Christmas, so I asked MH if I haven’t O’d yet, would you rather HIO at my mom’s or grandma’s place? He just shook his head and said “awkward..” He thinks I was joking

R/R: We’re going to a Christmas party tonight, but otherwise spending the weekend cleaning and organizing in anticipation of guests for the holidays. Rave- a friend recommended a curling iron that gives perfect waves/loose curls (like Jo Jo from HGVT)...and it works SO well. I’ve become somewhat obsessed. My husband mostly rolls his eyes and tells me I watch too much HGTV, but I’m super happy!

@lillywonderland agree with everyone else- buy the big order!  In my experience, the price isn’t sooo much more for getting many more tests. 

@SpongeWorthy: ugh!  Sorry about the uti. Hopefully can get it all cleared up before FW.

WAYDTGKU:  for this cycle planning (another) attempt at SMEP (wasn’t very good at it last time), OPk, BBT, CM/CP, and still taking inositol and PNV. Also going to add daily activity/exercise. (20-30 minutes)
 
R/R:  I’m sad it’s CD1, but both last (well-tracked cycles) have had an actual O and an LP of 14 days. So that’s nice. Rave—-choir concert tonight!  So excited!

CS/Q:  none right now.

@lillywonderland I feel like there's plenty you could do w/ extra OPKs... like, mail them to one of us haha. Or maybe you'll want to do this all over again someday? When would they expire... but yeah, I had a similar notion & that's why I bought a cheapie package, which came w/ 50 OPK & 20 PG tests for like, $20. I figd that's how much I'd spent for a few OTC PG tests anyway.

@bostonlady-2 i'm excited FOR you that your curling iron works super well. i have pinstr8 hair that never stays curled, so i love a beautiful curl. i'm just imagining... its beauty...

@SpongeWorthy so sorry about the UTI! does drinking cranberry juice actually help w/ those? i really love the 100% cran they sell at trader joes w/ a little seltzer or lemonade (it's soo sour it's nearly impossible for me to drink on its own--my mouth is watering just thinking about how sour it is.) maybe drink a ton of cranberry juice & you'll be able to SMEP sooner rather than later?

R/R: my rants are in my CS/Q I guess / I had a poetry reading yesterday & I was all like "::kicks dirt:: I don't want to goooo" but then I went (bc I had to haha) & had a really great time & also there was a craft fair there so I got some cute stuff for holiday gifts. 

CS/Q:

I've been paranoid leading up to my "fertile window" since this is my 1st time charting & DH's lil men sometimes make me itchy down there, so I feel like I'm doing this all wrong bc the few times we've DTD recently we've been using protection haha since my CM isn't right yet & I typically have longer cycles & therefore prolli won't O until later this week sometime/early next (though I realllly don't know--that's why i'm charting!) If I get a YI, it would ruin my chances at detecting EW CM & also maybe even prevents/disrupts the occurrence of EW CM? I bought one of those generic pH balance washes fOr LaDiEs (NOT a douche) from Target a while ago and use a tinytiny bit of it sometimes, but there's no research that I can find on whether those are good/bad for TTC so--more paranoia. I am not sure where the question is, but I guess: anyone know anything about those washes? (they're NOT douches.) Or anyone else in a similar boat w/ incompatible pH's w/ DH's sperms? (I feel like pluralizing "sperm" with an "s" makes them sound "cute"...)
Alsoooo I got an open circle today bc I took it early bc DH got up super early, but when I took it later it was way high bc the dog was back with me in bed or I didn't get enough sleep beforehand or something. she def. affects my temperatures in her efforts to snuggle haha so I just kept the earlier one even though FF thinks it's an open circle temp. This is not a question just a rant. I wanted a beautiful, enviable first-time chart lol and instead bc of a couple way-too-cold-for-the-south days & super warm bed-friendly dogs-- I have this.😭 but i'm proud of it like "i colored it all myself" even if it's all outside the intended coloring space...

@misshelen86 Ooo what is Christmas crack?? I only made snickerdoodles this year and I was disappointed in the recipe  They didn’t flatten out enough in the oven.  I hope your cookies turned out better than mine!
@bostonlady-2 I’m also curious about the curling iron.  Good hair days are such a confidence boost!

@kagesstarshroom I read that cranberry juice can help prevent UTIs, but it doesn’t help once you actually have them.  DH did get me some cranberry juice though (bc trying #allthethings) and it was sooooooo sour.  That’s great about your poetry reading!  Is it original poetry?

@bostonlady-2 I tried a long time ago to curl my hair via a curling iron. I failed miserably since my hair hates being anything but straight! 🤣

@SpongeWorthy Yep! I am a poet & I read my original work. Thanks for asking. I recommend mixing the super sour cran with.... coconut water or coconut La Croix but maybe I’m a weirdo. 😬 My mouth is watering again I wonder if we have any in the fridge I might drink some mixed w/ some coconut La Croix.... #Solidarity

@SpongeWorthy Christmas crack is crackers covered in caramel and chocolate.. so addictive! I put pecans on some and M&Ms on the other ones.
