R/R: well it’s CD1 so that in itself is a rant. Getting our tree today and my twin sister is coming over tonight to decorate cookies.

@stephanie123456 i used a similar emoji yesterday when i joined WTO from TWW on cycle day one. ::feels:: / meanwhile, treats & trees sound like a good saturday solution to the double whammy of disappointment that is CD1. (also see my WAYDTGKU, for reasons--)

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, PNV, FF-- i'm also adding red raspberry leaf tea! i bought it yesterday when i bought my Target BBT! someone recommended it in the TTCAL thread for this week, which i read *after* I bought it haha. it's been on my "when you see this buy this" list for a while! (look at us, being in sync). / did you get TCOYF? that book is on my list of things to buy, too, (TODAY!) & it seems to be "THE" TTC book.
 
R/R: no rants really. i have a lot on my weekend to-do list to do, but it's stuff i don't mind doing / as for a rave, i placed 3rd in a poker tournament my colleagues had last night. i hadn't played in like 2 years, and i only bought in once. we did it tourney style (Winner Takes All), so i didn't win my money back or anything, but it was only $10 to play & we bought pizza w/ the winner's money so i feel like i got my $ back haha. & i'm proud of myself for getting 3rd. also, bc it was CD1, I had two beers--stouts! my fave. i don't always enjoy drinking as much as i used to, but i was glad i could yesterday & *did* enjoy it, so. silver linings! i'm always keeping an eye our for those.

CS/Q: just clocked my first BBT temp this morning. so my chart now has one relevant TTGP dot on it.

@kagesstarshroom good reminder for me to get some RLT! I used to really like that stuff (although I remember it being kind of an acquired taste)

R/R: navigating TTC at the holidays is more emotional than I would have expected. I guess I (naively) never thought I would still be here at this point. I am soooo glad I have you all here to vent to!!

@kagesstarshroom Congrats on the poker finish!  I’m always too intimidated when I play and I’m super conservative lol.  I hope you like TCOYF - I learned a lot from it!
@jennifer_louise I feel you on emotions running high during the holidays.  It definitely helps to have this community

R/R: DH and I got new phones today!  We’ve been putting it off for a while, so it’s nice to finally have that checked off the list.  We’re also going out tonight with some people from our local CHD support group, so that should be fun 

CS/Q: Nothing to see.  I just started using my new thermometer today.

R/R: TW kids: my sister's babysitter fell through so I volunteered and got to spend some time with my handsome little nephews for a few hours. End TW We had a nice time, but her plans took longer than expected so we did end up cancelling our movie date, but we're going to decorate the tree, drink some wine and play cards. Works for me, it means I don't have to put on pants. Win, win.

CS/Q: temp started to rise this morning, but I didn't sleep well so I got an open circle. We shall see
