We got a BFP earlier this week on Monday, 11/12. I’ve estimated based on my last period, I might be around 7wks? However I’m pretty irregular so I’m not sure. I’ve had minimal headaches, some soreness in my breasts, fatigue, excessive bloating, and increased appetite over the past couple weeks but no morning sickness or nausea. Today, I woke up with minimal bleeding. Enough to be startled when wiping, not enough to warrant a pad. I went to the bathroom a few more times, and twice I saw clots in the toilet with some blood. I went in for blood work and an transvaginal US. The ultrasound didn’t show anything - absolutely nothing. I know this can be normal for early pregnancy, especially when we aren’t positive on how far along I actually am. After the ultrasound, I was given a towel to clean myself up and had a good amount of blood on that, which scared the crap out of me. I know it’s normal to experience some after having something up there, but it was startling. After my appt, I got a call from the office saying that the Dr wants to come in tomorrow morning to discuss the results. They said the ultrasound and blood work don’t match, but I didn’t ask how they didn’t match. I called and left a voicemail asking if I could possibly get the HCG numbers from the results, but haven’t gotten word back. I’ve almost convinced myself it’s a miscarriage, but just need someone to confirm it for me. My SO is being so optimistic (bless his heart) but my gut just tells me something is wrong. This is my first pregnancy, so I have no idea what to expect from here. Anyone else ever experience something like this?
EDIT: got the call back. Blood work shows HCG levels to be at about 100. 🤷🏻♀️

If you're unsure of your cycle dating it's very possible that you are much earlier than you thought. Did you take any pregnancy tests before you got your BFP on 11/12? If you did, and they were negative, an HCG of 100 is a normal number for being 3 days out from a BFP. Bleeding during pregnancy is very common and doesn't always mean miscarriage, but I would definitely get another HCG level drawn when you go back. I'm sorry you're going through this, keep us updated on how things are going.
