This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): TW- MC
I went to the RE last week for a f/u. TLDR- I have a piece of retained tissue from the d&c.
How are things going?: See above. RE said there is a chance it will resolve itself. We are going to wait 2-4 weeks & re-evaluate. I really don’t want to have another procedure. I have struggling with increasing depression & anxiety. I went back up on my medicine this weekend & have been working to get back into activities I had abandoned, regardless if I feel like engaging. Back to the gym this evening.
Any questions?: Not right now.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? A blue haired doll, Brittany, from my Godmother, was the main staple. I also played with Barbies for far longer than likely age appropriate.
@jrm_14 No, I have never used progesterone supplements. They talked about them last time but I’m thinking they may put me on it this time just in case. I had a test done this cycle and it was at 21
@jrm_14 I am so sorry for your current feelings of anxiety and depression. I sincerely hope the gym will help this evening. What do you normally do at the gym? @crookshanks10 I'm sorry for the IUI not working out this time. Hopefully your RE can give you some answers about the spotting.
Diagnosis (if you've been): N/A currently
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): between WTO/TWW. I think O is today
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): "Day 21" testing and CD3 testing.
How are things going?: I've decorated my house for the fall, and that has helped me focus on other things. I also refinished the remaining furniture in our garage, so I left the weekend with a feeling of accomplishment.
Any questions?: I've been knee deep in reading about the various tests I have coming up. I'm concerned about the timing of my Progesterone testing. I was planning on going in 7 DPO for my testing, until I found literature that says Day 21 progesterone testing is done because it is a week prior to AF. If that is the case, my 9 (sometimes 10) day LP would put me at testing 2-3 DPO...
I think I should still stick to 7 DPO, because if I only have a 9 day LP, the progesterone levels will point out this issue, right? (assuming at 7 DPO the levels will be lower than normal).
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? I was (and maybe still am?) 100% a barbie girl
@jrm_14 Im sorry to hear about the depression and anxiety you are experiencing. I hope the gym tonight will help release some stress. We are all here if you need anything! @crookshanks10 Sorry #2 didnt work out Do you think the doc will change things up or keep them the same for #3? Have they mentioned if you are "responding well" to the meds?
Diagnosis (if you've been): MFI
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Prepping for IVF#1
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): On BCP now, full blood work up for both H and I on Wednesday along with a uterine cavity ultrasound, lovely! Estrogen priming starts 11/3 and injections begin 11/17
How are things going?: I'm doing okay. We are slowing starting to tell immediate family what is going on and everyone has been really supportive so far. Next up is tell my boss, which I am oddly nervous about. ugh!
Any questions?: None today
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? I loved my "bop-it"!
TTC journey in spoiler
Me: 29 | DH: 31 Married: 08/2016 TTC: 10/2017 IUI #1-3 BFN IVF 11/2018- 23 eggs retrieved, 16 mature, 14 fertilized with ICSI with 7 embryos making it to freeze FET #1 02/2019 BFN FET #2 4/19 BFP!!!!! EDD 1/4/20
@jrm_14 you are often in my thoughts. I hate that you're not able to more forward and process all that has happened because it is still happening. It sucks. I am sending you much love. It is so hard to break the cycle when feeling depressed/anxious. I think it is great that you are getting out and engaging. thoughts/feelings/actions. work where you can and you are. If you ever need anything, to vent, to DD to whatever. I'm here. @crookshanks10 my initial thought was progesterone too. Sorry I can't give you an answer, my cycles were a bit extended, but I was supplementing with progesterone. Have you asked your RE?
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): ER tomorrow! It was a tough weekend with daily appts and unsure of how long they would let this go. (I actually ran out of meds and the office had to spot me some until my prescription can be refilled) but triggered last night, so we're a go!
How are things going?: depends on the minute, I'm alternating between anxious with a bit of worry and hopeful. Either way it will be done tomorrow. I know I don't have as many follies this time, but like I said before, I'm really just trying to focus on quality.
Any questions?:
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? the first thing that came to mind was my Popple. but then I thought about older childhood and I have such good memories of sitting around watching/playing Zelda on the first Nintendo.
TTC#1 10/2016 TTC/IF:included medicated cycles, IUIs and 2 rounds of IVF with 1 embryo each. BFP finally in 12/2018
TTC#2 06/2021 planning FET
"Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks, some doors are open, some roads are blocked"
@jrm_14 I too struggle with anxiety/depression. Props to you for getting back into the gym! I need to too. @chichiphin Thank you. I'll be interested to see what they have to say tomorrow. YAY for getting some household things completed! @kobrien827 Thank you. I'll be interested to see if they change anything. It seems like I respond to the medicine. The first cycle I had 2 follicles and this past one I had 1. I know that I ovulate. I feel like my DHs sample could be better, but it's always been above their threshold for IUI. At this point, I'm just ready to move on to IVF, even if it is so much money. I'm glad you've told your family! I think we will have to as well if we go to IVF.
@kobrien827 Good luck talking to the boss. I really hope he/she is supportive.
@chichiphin Has your doc put you on progesterone during your LP yet? Do you also spot a few days before AF?
@crookshanks10 I would def ask the doc about trying progesterone during your LP this time around. 21 is a good number but it may take a nose dive earlier than it is supposed to. Staying on the supplement will keep it high long enough for implantation. It can't hurt anyway.
@jrm_14 Fingers crossed the tissue resolves itself. And right there with you on playing with barbies for much loner than age appropriate.
Hoping to join this group for a while, since I don't really know where I belong
Diagnosis (if you've been): High prolactin, Hypothyroidism
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Benched but WTO CD6
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): After two high prolactin draws, my doc is ordering an MRI to check tumors. Also have doubled my thyroid meds so will re-test in 4 weeks.
How are things going?: Better this week. Last week was a doozy with the news that my TSH level hadn't budged after starting meds a month ago and my prolactin level was even higher than the first test. I had a mini panic attack when the nurse called back and asked me to get an MRI because of the prolactin levels. I literally thought she wanted an MRI on my breast but when she said "to check for a tumor on your pituitary gland" I nearly fell out of my chair. After google research (and a reassuring chat with @lulu1180 ) I'm feeling better that it's just protocol. I was really hoping to be off the bench and ready to try again this cycle but alas, the timing wasn't meant to be.
Any questions?: Any other high prolactin ladies out there that don't have brain tumors?? lol
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? Barbies, hands down.
@Avrilmai I'm going to ask tomorrow if this is their experience, that those who are doing IUI have spotting/extended cycles. I'm definitely going to ask about being put on progesterone. I think they'll want to anyway. Best of luck to you tomorrow during your ER!! So exciting (: @nomangos23 I hope your upcoming tests yield good results!
@kobrien827 that is wonderful that everyone is so supportive. Good luck with telling your boss and I hope they are just as supportive of you. @Avrilmai I'm glad your office was able to help out with the meds for ER tomorrow. Good luck tomorrow! @nomangos23 I'm so happy that you are feeling better about the MRI/testing protocol. I have you in my thoughts. AFM - I'm not on anything right now during my LP. As for spotting, my last two AFs were only made up of spotting and prior to that, very light. I feel like I haven't had a "real" AF since I was on bc pills honestly.
@jrm_14 Aw friend! I am so sorry that you are still having to go through all of that. I will have everything crossed hoping that it is something that resolves quickly on its own and that you can avoid anything further. Hope that you have a great workout at the gym tonight and it helps you feel a bit better.
@crookshanks10 Ugh, sorry that the last cycle was a bust for you. Glad that AF finally arrived though so that you can move onto the next cycle. Let us know how it goes tomorrow.
@chichiphin I agree with Lulu, stick to 7dpo for the testing. Good job on finishing off some projects this weekend. What did you do to the furniture?
@kobrien827 Really glad to hear that all your family have been so supportive, it helps to have those other people to be able to talk to when you need it. I start stims Nov 1st, so I feel the nerves too. We got this though!
@Avrilmai Sending you all the positive vibes for your ER tomorrow! Zelda was the bomb! We got the old school Nintendo just for that when they came out.
@nomangos23 So sorry that you find yourself here, but welcome. Are they able to get you in for the MRI quickly? FX that it is all clear and that the extra meds help with the TSH.
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, MFI
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Waiting for IVF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): 1st IVF cycle
How are things going?: Started my nasal spray Saturday, which leaves me with a bit of a headache about an hour after every use. I have to use it five times a day, so that is fun. But I think I may be starting to get used to it a little more now. No other side effects from it yet, although I have been warned that I feel like I am starting menopause.
MH got home this weekend too and it is so nice to have him home again. He should be back until at least January now which is good.
Any questions?:
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? I played with a lot of Lego, Nintendo and Barbies. I don't think I could choose just one.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Natural IUI cycle. We have our follow-up appt on Wednesday with our current RE to discuss next steps. (Consult with new RE is next Tuesday.)
How are things going?: Meh. I'm either 9 or 10 dpo today, and I got quite a bit of pink spotting over the weekend with a tiny bit of red as well. Much earlier than my normal spotting starts, but I think it is too much to be SS IB.
Any questions?: Not at the moment. Currently trying to list out all my questions for Wednesday.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? Oh man, I guess I'd have to say my barbies or my little pony.
Diagnosis (if you've been): I had my first fertility appointment on Thursday (it was the 21st day of my cycle) so I had some blood work done and then my period came a week early so I had blood work done today (the third day). I don't have results from today's visit but last weeks visit I had a level of 7 progesterone when it should be at a 10, but I did ovulate.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Waiting to here back from my doctor for the second part of the results.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): I ordered Emerita Pro-Fest Cream to try and increase my levels of progesterone. I'm also waiting to here back from the doctor to see if she's going to have me keep trying naturally or if she will prescribe Chlomid?
How are things going?: I'm trying not to stress, but it's difficult. I'm confused on why I got my period a week early (that never happens) and its much lighter than normal.
Any questions?: Has anyone had this happen to them? Are level 7 progesterone levels low enough not to get pregnant? Also has anyone had the Mirena and had this happen to them (it's been 6 months)?
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? Horse stuffed animal
@nitnat007 I'm so glad YH is home and will be for a while, especially during this time for you. Is he mil? (speculating bc of the chunks of time he is home/away) @Sparty18 I keep thinking about you this cycle, and I am SS for you today.
@nitnat007 Thank you! This cycle was really frustrating for sure! What kind of nasal spray are you having to do?? @Sparty18 Thank you friend! I have my fx for you! @wifey_furmom Was it a period and not just spotting? that it weird. Maybe your cycles are still trying to get panned out? I definitely understand your frustrations!
@wifey_furmom we are in similar situations. very early AF, and it is just spotting. I am also on cycle 6 post-IUD. Unfortunately I have no answers for you on progesterone, as I am getting that blood work done in a week. I'll keep you posted though since we seem to be experiencing something similar.
@nitnat007@Sparty18 No date set yet, they have to pre-approve with insurance so there's no telling how long that will take. I'm hoping I can get it done ASAP
@Sparty18 I've been watching for your update. I'm got my FX for you!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): this cycle is our last time naturally trying to conceive so I'm doing the usual BBT, OPKs, TI. My next AF I'll be scheduling all my blood work and an US. Hopefully that will give us a good picture of where the issue may lie.
How are things going?: good. I definitely choked up between the RE leaving and the financial advisor coming in to the conference room during out appt. I was asked to be a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding so that has been a good mood booster!
Any questions?: I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety and depression over the last few months, and really the whole year. What's something you like to do to bring your spirits up? I feel like yoga would be a great place to start, but it's hard to motivate myself to start a routine.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? Oh man... So many great toys in the 90s. Loved Lite Brite (or Light Bright?). Also my tomagotchi was well used. And of course the Skip-It!

My dearest @jrm_14 you have shown such grace through this year, please don’t be too tough on yourself. If there is anything I can do please just pm anytime and if you’re not feeling up to being on here let me know. I hope the gym gives you a good boost of natural endorphins.
@crookshanks10 I read a really good post from an RE on IG last week. She very strongly reiterated that regular spotting more than 2 days before AF, AF with lots of clots, cycles which differ by more than +/-2 days each month are not normal. And if this pattern repeats for 12+ months then they all need evaluation and treatment. She went on to say if someone doesn’t treat that then look for someone who will. Now we can debate the specific criteria she mentioned, but I think what I wanted to say is don’t accept the spotting. On another podcast last week I listened again reminded that spotting is normally a symptom of an ovulation disorder. So also to find and treat the root cause, not just the symptom. TLDR push your RE for better care for your spotting
@chichiphin I think the others already confirmed 7dpo is right.
@kobrien827 I hope the full blood work up now for you is not any hormones as being on BCP will give false results. I guess you mean all the infectious disease testing etc which is needed.
@avrilmai dear fellow “quality over quantity” club member, I’m so pleased you reached ER and I hope it brings a pleasant surprise tomorrow. Though I know until everything is frozen you can't really relax. I’m keeping everything crossed for you.
@nomangos23 I think we have one of the grads who successfully negotiated high prolactin (and didn’t have a tumor!!! It’s not the only cause of this... but good they are ruling it out fast...) - not sure if any of the other older members can remember who to page them?
@sparty18 well you can practice your questions at the first appointment and refine them for the second!
@wifey_furmom hmmm that progesterone is pretty low to be honest... It might signal a weak ovulation. Or that you ovulated a little later than you thought perhaps. Do you also get spotting?
@inthewoods23 I need to feel like I’m going to let someone else down in order to keep an exercise routine - so for me cross fit worked really well - we had to pay when we booked and if you didn’t turn up to a session the very scary ex special forces owner called you personally, or even sent friends round to check on you if you repeatedly baled...
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Stimming for IVF#8
How are things going?: No idea as first monitoring is not until Wednesday which will be after 6 days of stims. Having 7 cycles of experience my RE was happy to let me skip the one after 4 days as we can never see anything much then, plus what we do see we always say “too early to decide”. So that “saved” us $150 in local monitoring costs. Saved in the same sense as “there’s a sale on and I’m going to buy a whole load of stuff I wouldn’t have if there wasn’t a sale”... ie not saving anything! DH has injection prep and stabbing me perfected by now. One hint to those who didn’t experience injections yet is that we’ve found I tense my stomach less if I’m standing when he injects than if I’m sitting or laying down. And I breathe like when the acupuncturist is inserting the needles. This way I literally don’t know if he got the needle in unless I look! Most of my stress at the moment is hoping monitoring goes well - both in terms of how my ovaries look and that the OBGYN I go to locally is on time! - and that we have minimum stress with how the stars align to cause as little disruption as possible (as we have to fly to another country for retrieval).
Any questions?:
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? Oh wow good question... I’m really having to think about this one... I spent most of my childhood at the stables...

Fav Quote: The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return
@emmasemm Thankfully this has been the first cycle like this! I hope it’s the only one too, lol. I’m interested to meet with my RE tomorrow and see what they have to say!
@crookshanks10 I would say that it is more of a light period, not just spotting. My periods have been regular pretty much since my IUD has been out for 7 months. For some reason this time around it was a week early. Also I lurked and saw you weren't on progesterone, I just order the cream by Kajarin, I really hope it helps, I'll let you know if my levels go up.
@emmasemm I thought my progesterone levels were low but the nurse said it was normal (towards the low side) the doctors like to see it around 10. She said the doctor would call me with my next set of results and then would recommend either continuing trying and get more blood work, go on a progestrone cream or chlomid. But I figured I would be proactive and ordered a progesterone cream by Kajarin. Have you heard of it?
@InTheWoods15 I'm on the same anxiety stress boat as you. I'm literally stressed all month long from trying to figure out if I'm ovulating to the stabbing feeling I get when my period comes. I'm a mixture of emotion of anger, frustration and defeat. I did some research and many people recommend yoga and meditation. So I just designed one of spare rooms into a meditation/yoga room. I have a mat, meditation cushions, essential oils, insense, indoor water fall, crystals....and more. Maybe I'm going a little overboard but anything to help make this process a little easier and less stressful. I ordered a lot of books to help guide me with self meditation. If you need motivation, sign up at your local gym a lot of places offer yoga classes, this way you can meet people and be more inclined to go.
@chichiphin It helps to know that I'm not in this alone. I hope your testing goes smoothly, good luck! Also my doctor said to get my progesterone test on day 21 but that is because I have a pretty regular 28 day cycle. Although for some reason this month was a week early, so I had to get my day 3 blood work done today. Did I mention I have a needle phobia?
@jrm_14 ugh I hate that you are dealing with this right now. The same thing happened to me. Had a d&c in July saline showed placental tissue had to have a repeat d&c in September. I hated it especially since it was my 6th surgery in 12 months. I hope yours resolved on it’s own and another procedure isn’t necessary. If you ever need to talk I’m here.
@Avrilmai GL tomorrow friend!!! Hoping for a great report tomorrow!!!
@emmasemm I’m glad your doctor is working with you and not making you come in since he knows you after all your ERs. Hoping you go out with with a bang on this one and good quality eggs!!!
Diagnosis (if you've been): unexplained
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFFET
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): last day of BCPs is next week and FET is scheduled for 11/21!
How are things going?: good! Looking forward to my FET and excited for the upcoming holidays!!
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? I had a PJ Sparkles stuffed animal bunny that had glow in the dark stars on it. I still have it to this day. She even studied abroad with me in Spain (as a 20 year old haha)
@inthewoods23 I remember feeling so overwhelmed after that first meeting with the RE. FX this cycle is it for you, but if not then I hope you get some answers
@emmasemm talk to me about the breathing thing. I do all my own injections and have absolutely no problem with it. But I HATE the needles at the acupuncturist. And I’m glad you can skip the first monitoring!!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): nothing really. I’ll start progesterone on cd16.
How are things going?: AF showed up today. I talked to the nurse today and she said my RE wants me to have an endometrial scratch between cd5-10. I have my appt to go over the next protocol on Friday which is cd 5 so they’re going to do it at the same time. I’m glad they brought it up because I was going to ask about it on Friday.
Any questions?: I know the scratch is painful but what kind of pain? A pinch, a cramp? I like to be prepared.
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? My favorite when I was really little was my Lolly Dolly (my mom couldn’t believe I remembered what is was called) and then I loved Cabbage Patch Dolls and My Child Dolls.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TTA until I hear back on blood work.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Waiting to hear back. I called my doctors today, and it's back, but the doctor was in with a patient. The receptionist was going to try to have him review and call me back. He didn't. Assuming that means nothing dire, but I want more information.
How are things going?: My cycles have been super wonky for the past few years - stretching out up to 4 months. I just had AF week before last and I think it is starting up again. So frustrating, not knowing what to expect.
Any questions?:
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy? My little tykes vanity! The pink plastic one
@jrm_14 I am so sorry you are going through all of this My heart hurts for you
@crookshanks10 I’m glad AF finally showed up, one more step forward right?
@chichiphin We decorated the outside of our house too. With three cats and a dog, inside decorations don't last long before *somebody* knocks them over. I am so jealous of people who have seasonal decor throughout!
@kobrien827 I am glad things went well with your immediate family!
@nomangos23@wifey_furmom@inthewoods23 Welcome. I'm sorry you find yourselves here though. FX it's a short stay, and either way, that we all find the support we need. I'm pretty new to here too.
@nitnat007 That doesn't sound fun - I hate having headaches. I hope you are giving yourself some care with it. Icecream always helps headaches for me.
@Sparty18 I forgot about my little pony. I loved my my little ponies...
@emmasemm Well... "saved" is better than... actually spent?
@purplg8r I am the exact opposite with needles! I have occasional injections I have to do and I am SUCH a wuss about them. They are even in a trigger injector so all I have to do it push... nope. Huge wimp factor. Other people can stick needles in me all day long no problem.
So sorry friend. I can imagine that your heart feels extra wounded now. I hope that this resolves too so that you won't have to go through the repeat horror of the last procedure. Please be kind to yourself and play with a Barbie if that comforts you. Hugs
@Avrilmai Good luck tomorrow. Hoping for the best quality and results you've ever had.
@emmasemm One less encounter with the vag wand is always a good time. Please let us know what happens on Wednesday.
@lulu1180 How have you been doing? I hope you are feeling better lately.

@purplg8r I’ve had three and the first two were super painful the third I barely felt at all. My nurse said that was a good sign since it meant the infection/inflammation was gone. It’s definitely uncomfortable but manageable. They will probably tell you to take some Tylenol before you go. It’s like a pulling clipping kind of feeling. It’s quick, about 30 seconds once they get the cath in.
@whatsbumpinpumpkin I hope your doctor gets back to you today’ the waiting is the worst. Keep us posted!
@purplg8r I'm not tracking this month. My gyno said to try every other day and not worry about testing. She said all my tests came back fine so it's just a waiting game.
@Sparty18 I am really curious to see how things go with your new RE next week. But still hoping that you wont need to even have that appointment. Let us know how it goes tomorrow.
@chichiphin Yes, MH is navy. Makes for a lot of travel. Fortunately he has just been posted to shore, but he is an instructor. Shorter trips, just more of them. Always makes for happy times when he comes home though.
@nomangos23 FX that you get approval really quickly and can get it taken care of. I had to wait several months for my MRI here in Canada.
@inthewoods23 Sorry that you find yourself here, but welcome! We also have low morph along with an Acrosome defect. It can all be extremely overwhelming, hearing all the news at once, trying to figure out your next move. Some of the best advice some of the ladies gave me here, just take it one step at a time. Try not think too far down the road. We are here to help with any questions along the way.
@emmasemm That is great that you are able to skip that day 4 baseline appointment and save a little. Even though like you said, it is like justifying buying something while on sale. Small victories though. Thanks for sharing that tip. I am still very stressed about the needles. I wont be able to look at all.
@purplg8r I go in Nov 1st for baseline B/W and U/S and get my meds. Headaches seem to be getting better though. Yay! That is great that you were able to time that scratch for Friday and not hold anything up any further. Hope it is quick and painless!
@whatsbumpinpumpkin I totally treated myself to a chocolate cupcake last night. But paid for it later since it was not gluten free. Totally worth it though! Hope that you hear back from your doctor soon so you can start working on a plan of action. So much waiting with IF.
@suzycupcake How are you doing friend? I am on the nasal spray until Nov 1st, then go in for B/W and U/S and start stims likely that day.
@purplg8r I'm not tracking this month. My gyno said to relax, try every other day and not worry about testing. She said all my tests came back fine so it's just a waiting game. I've heard from multiple doctors that sometimes you just have to not think about it and it will happen, so we will see. Also I will start progesterone cream on the 14 day of my cycle to ease my mind a bit about my lower levels.
@wifey_furmom Please do not say this, especially not in this thread. Not thinking about TTC will not make a difference for those of us in this thread and this is really insensitive; this is basically the same as telling us all that we would get pregnant if we would just relax. I know you've been trying for about 6 months and it can take a perfectly healthy couple up to a year to get pregnant.

@lulu1180 I was just giving advice for people who are starting out trying too (this group is not only for people who are having difficulty getting pregnant). Stress can be a huge factor of not being able to get pregnant, it's just medical advice I was given.

@wifey_furmom Actually, this specific thread is only for those who are struggling to get pregnant. The board in general is for anyone who is TTC and there are the daily threads for those who are not struggling. Stress is not the reason that I haven't gotten pregnant in over two years. I've tried relaxing and that is not the problem for any of the women in this thread. That advice is not a proven medical fact and if a doctor told me that same thing, I would tell them exactly what I think of that shitty advice.

Re: IF treatment and testing week of 10/22
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Benched
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): TW- MC
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO. Only CD3
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI #3. Unsure if we'll change protocol this time.
How are things going?: Good. AF finally arrived after 6 days of spotting. I go to the RE tomorrow for an ovary scan and so..... the journey continues.
Any questions?: Has anyone had experience with extended cycles or spotting for many days after IUI cycles?
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood toy? Oh my.. a lot!

@crookshanks10 my initial thought was progesterone too. Sorry I can't give you an answer, my cycles were a bit extended, but I was supplementing with progesterone. Have you asked your RE?
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained, AMA, low AMH
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): IVF #2

@nomangos23 I hope your upcoming tests yield good results!

@crookshanks10 I'm sorry you're moving on to #3, friend.
@kobrien827 Hope the talk with your boss goes ok!
@Avrilmai Good luck tomorrow!!!
@nomangos23 Any idea when the MRI will be?
Diagnosis (if you've been): Nothing official
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW

Diagnosis (if you've been): 1% morph, otherwise unexplained
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO

@nitnat007 let’s get this party started!!!
Diagnosis (if you've been): DOR, AMA, autoimmune stuff complicating the mix
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):
WFFET
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):
last day of BCPs is next week and FET is scheduled for 11/21!
How are things going?:
good! Looking forward to my FET and excited for the upcoming holidays!!
Any questions?:
Nope
GTKY: what was your favorite childhood toy?
I had a PJ Sparkles stuffed animal bunny that had glow in the dark stars on it. I still have it to this day. She even studied abroad with me in Spain (as a 20 year old haha)
@crookshanks10 I’m glad AF finally showed up. I only had a longer/messed up cycle after my endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy
@chichiphin you’re right that it should be 7dpo because not everyone Os on cd14
@kobrien827 I’m glad that everyone is being so supportive!
@Avrilmai I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow! And I loved my Poole too!!
@nomangos23 welcome, although I’m sorry you have to be here. When is your MRI?
@nitnat007 ugh. I’m sorry about the headache side effect! When do you have your first monitoring appt?
@Sparty18 FX that you are a SS!
@wifey_furmom were you tracking O this cycle?
@inthewoods23 I remember feeling so overwhelmed after that first meeting with the RE. FX this cycle is it for you, but if not then I hope you get some answers
@emmasemm talk to me about the breathing thing. I do all my own injections and have absolutely no problem with it. But I HATE the needles at the acupuncturist. And I’m glad you can skip the first monitoring!!
@beachbunnyxo123 yay for almost being done with bcp!!
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): not sure what I am lol
@Avrilmai Good Luck!
@nomangos23 @wifey_furmom @inthewoods23 Welcome.
@beachbunnyxo123 I love that you brought your stuffy to Spain
@purplg8r I am the exact opposite with needles! I have occasional injections I have to do and I am SUCH a wuss about them. They are even in a trigger injector so all I have to do it push... nope. Huge wimp factor. Other people can stick needles in me all day long no problem.
@jrm_14
@Avrilmai Good luck tomorrow. Hoping for the best quality and results you've ever had.
@emmasemm One less encounter with the vag wand is always a good time. Please let us know what happens on Wednesday.
@crookshanks10 Sorry friend. Hugs
@lulu1180 How have you been doing? I hope you are feeling better lately.

@whatsbumpinpumpkin I hope your doctor gets back to you today’ the waiting is the worst. Keep us posted!
