TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Diagnosis (if you've been):  unexplained 

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):
WF surgery 

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): 
have a consult with the surgeon on 9/14 (he’s done a surgery for me before) and hysteroscopy on 9/24. 

How are things going?: 
they are okay, just trying to be patient while we are waiting for surgery.

GTKY: What’s something random about you that most people don’t know? 
I was prom queen my senior year in high school. I was going through some old stuff this weekend, it’s so crazy how fast time flies!

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW. IUI #1 was yesterday

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI

How are things going?: Good! I had a lot of anxiety yesterday with the IUI.. but I'm just trying to be positive.

Any questions?: Anyone who has done the trigger shot.. does ovulation occur pretty spot on 36ish hours after administered?

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Benched. 

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):  No plans. 

How are things going?: Not well. 
TW loss

Two weeks ago, Baby B stopped growing about 2 weeks ago. Baby a stopped about a week ago. 

I guess we regroup and move forward with more tx. The RE wouldn’t talk next steps with us until after this is all wrapped up. We are meeting w/ him today to see if I need a D&C after the medication. I’m hoping he’s willing to discuss what we do next.   I need something to focus on. Idk the healthiness of that, though.

No insight .But I didn't talk with the DR. 

Sent a nasty gram basically saying I want something different if I transfer the last two. I wish I would have put all four in so I could be done with this shiiit

@crookshanks10 There's a range for when ovulation can occur. Some people it's a little earlier, some a little later.

How are things going?: 
Things are just okay. Keeping myself distracted. I'm nervous about ER but I know that I can do this. I'm a little bit upset because af is taking her sweet time. We had to postpone a work trip because of it. I really need to go to NC and get an interview for my documentary. Guess I'll do it after the new year.

@rallykat14 My heart just sank to the floor when I saw your update. None of this makes any freaking sense at all. Why can't the universe just understand when enough is enough? Drink, eat ice cream, yell...do whatever it is you need to do right now.

@beachbunnyxo123 That's good that you'll be able to work with a surgeon you've had before for the hysteroscopy. I can't even imagine the amount of patience you've had to cobble together right now.

@jrm_14 I'm so sorry to read your update. TW loss in spoiler

After my first transfer, I just wanted to get the second transfer done as quickly as possible. For me, it was the healthiest thing I could do, since being in limbo was awful. I know you'll need to have the doc go over the next steps from here, but if you are ready to move forward, don't feel like there's a mandatory wait.

Diagnosis (if you've been): AZFc and endometritis

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WF ERA

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): I'll have another round of bloodwork and an ultrasound tomorrow to determine when we will do the ERA next week. I'll also be having another biopsy to check for signs of infection.

How are things going?: I just want to get this double biopsy over with. I'm hopeful my ERA will be early during the week next week and I won't have to come in for another follow-up. I'm thankful to know the Tegaderm film trick to go over the patches, since they've been staying on much better (and not getting dirty), even when I've been running.

GTKY: What’s something random about you that most people don’t know? When I was in 1st grade, I was reading at an 8th grade level. I could also read really quickly, so when teachers would have me read passages silently in class, they would always question whether or not I had actually finished it. I had to do a lot of comprehension checks to prove to them that I was reading and understanding. I still love reading and language!

Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, mild pcos 

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFFET

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): finally starting my FET cycle!

How are things going?: Baseline ultrasound today was normal.  I start 10 units of Lupron tomorrow and take my last bcp on Sunday 

Any questions?: How many days was it from when you started Lupron injections to your transfer?

Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, MFI (low morph and Acrosome defect)

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Waiting for IVF to start in Oct

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): on our own, getting blood work out of the way

How are things going?: Still mentally processing the decision to move forward to IVF. We have been doing our homework on what will be covered through our medical plans and what we will have to cover OOP. It is not as bad as it could be, but it there is still a lot that we are going to need to cover ourselves. 
DH is away this week which is probably good for me to take some time for self care right now. Maybe do some reading and feel like I am more prepared for this. As of right now I feel like a deer in the headlights.

@nitnat007 It took me a long while to really get mentally on board with IVF. I hope you are able to take some time to process as needed. I hope your health insurance does provide coverage, that would be great.

Diagnosis (if you've been): RPL

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Stims start tomorrow!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): ER

How are things going?: Had my baseline this morning and everything looked good - AFC was 12 which is in line with previous baselines (11-13). Barring anything wonky with my estrogen level we're a go to start tomorrow night.

Any questions?: Does/did your partner come with you to your appts? I mean like baseline scans and scans to check on your follicles, etc. I noticed about half the ladies had a partner with them this morning (my clinic does stimming on a very regimented schedule so I would hazard that every woman I saw there this morning was stimming).

GTKY: What’s something random about you that most people don’t know? I'm really good at finding four leaf clovers. It's my one super power. It's not very practical.

@zamora_spin My lining was only 7.8 at yesterday's appointment, so I need to go back tomorrow to get into that magical 8+ zone. It's possible the ERA could be Wednesday if I start progesterone on Saturday, but we'll have to see. Another thought to add to the partners at appointments--for some of my appointments, I was required to have DH there, since I was going to be sedated in some way or he needed to sign off on some paperwork. At the very least, having him there for the ER and FET is key. Otherwise, it's up to you!

@purplg8r I'm really glad that we're starting. It takes so long to wrap your mind around doing IVF and then it's time and I think all the waiting (not that I have waited as long as others) just makes me like, OK ALREADY STICK ME WITH THE NEEDLES.

I'm so frustrated. Even though my lining was 7.8mm on Wednesday, today's ultrasound showed that it decreased!!! My doctor thinks that my receptors are taking in all the estrogen they can from the patches and I'm seeing a very rare decrease in lining levels. To make a long story short, we decided that I'll add 2mg of oral Estrace to the three patches I'm already using and see how things look on Monday. I'm so over this. I really hope her plan works, because I don't know if I can handle another setback.
