Possible Board Changes-Chart Stalk/Questions Thread Take 2

Options 2 and 3 in the original poll were too close to call.  Please vote for one of the 2 options below.  As a reminder, here are the more in-depth descriptions of both options.  I will leave this poll open until Thursday at 1 pm ET.

1. Add a TTC/temping FAQ thread: the chart stalk/questions thread would be posted on a weekly/monthly basis as it is now, but a new thread with FAQs about temping and this new FAQs thread would be linked in the CS/Q thread.  The purpose that if someone has a question that is covered in the FAQs they wouldn't need to ask it again
2. Have 2 separate question threads: The chart stalk/questions thread will still be posted on a weekly/monthly basis but there will also be a AMA (Ask Me Anything) thread posted with the same frequency.  @dpjennifer brought this option up and her description of this is "Could do a temping/O/charting thread and an AMA thread geared towards more serious but non-temp type questions. Not like "Does this BFP look BFP to you?" but more "OK, I've been trying for 8 months and use OPKs and temp and everything looks good. My timing is good. I know the chance of a BFP is only 20% or so each cycle, but we have been unsuccessful. TCOYF says I probably should look into some help now, but I'm not AMA and it's only been 8 months. Should I be concerned? What should I look into? etc."  Maybe something like that?"

I almost forgot to do this!  

So option 1 has more votes but because it's a difference of only 2 votes, I'm not exactly comfortable saying there is a clear winner here; especially since they were close pretty much the entire time (screenshot of the results above).  So I am proposing a compromise and say that we do both.  We will do an FAQ thread, which will be linked in the CS/Q verbiage and also have a separate AMA thread done either monthly or weekly.  I will leave this up for another 24 hours or so for any further discussion.  If you are against this, please tell me and let me know what it is exactly that you don't like about it.  

If no one is against it, we'll proceed with this starting in September (which is the week after next...where has this year gone???) and can hash out the details next week!

@lulu1180 I actually love the idea of both if it's not too burdensome on those answering the questions. I had a hard time choosing one of these over the other.

@kvh22 I'll admit, I can't take credit for it.  I actually got the idea from one of our grads @BusinessWife.  But I do think it's a good idea, or I wouldn't have proposed it!

I left this up longer than I planned but I wanted to be sure that everyone saw it.  I will start the FAQ thread.  For anyone who has been around for a little while and has seen the same question(s) asked repeatedly, please feel free to contribute to the thread.  If you want to add something on to a another person's post, please quote that person's comment and add your own.  The August Chart Stalk/Questions thread will still be used for general questions and we will come up with a new "intro" for the thread starting in September, as well as try going back to a weekly format.  

For the AMA thread, I was thinking that we could do a specific topic on either a weekly or monthly basis.  If anyone has any other input on this, please let us know!
