Here’s some of today’s brunch table. My lemon ricotta pancakes were lacking ricotta, but the lemon curd was delish!

This delicious lunch on the road was preceded by trail mix and will be followed by gummy bears. Served with the finest of polar seltzer. I'll do better this week, I hope

I don’t have a recent photo of food either, but I have been taking some pics of “things I eat while pregnant” because it’s fun to me to see how my tastes change. One day the thought of potato chips with my blt sounded greasy and horrible- so I had a baked potato instead, then another day I’m eating fries or cookies. What gives? 
Here’s a photo from about a month ago of a packet of ramen I doctored up, featuring my cat.

@hkom Mmm, I've never really wanted a lobster roll until right now! I've never spent time in that area, but DH assures me that we'll visit and gorge ourselves on lobster rolls and blueberry pie.

@tumbleweed-1 Yum! When I fancify my ramen I drain half of the water and stir in an egg & butter to make the ramen all creamy. Kind of wish that I had these ramen thoughts earlier, just so I could have gone to the store between storms.

What a fun thread, thanks for starting @echo-charlietango! No food porn on my phone right now, but I'm making lasagna tonight (of which I'll probably freeze 2/3 for toddler and post-baby meals, yay) so I'll share when it's all delicious and bubbly-looking.

@echo-charlietango I just re-googled that and died. I’ve seen it before but had forgotten all about it.

Sorry the photo makes it look sort of blah. Haven’t dug into it yet, but the sauce was super tasty. AND the recipe made extra sauce, so I can freeze it and serve it with spaghetti or something!

I cried today. Because i wanted noodles. Ramen noodles. I ended up settling for lo mein.  It was delicious, but not ramen.  And I did not take a picture.  But @tumbleweed-1 omg that ramen looks SO good, now I want it again.

@PensiveCrayon imI normally not a big lasagna fan, but we've had it like 4 times since I've been pregnant and I want more. Now! 

Friday DH made chili and I made some bread bowls. I've been in a fall mood lately and this hit the spot!



We also had enough dough to make 2 French loaves as well. Can't wait to tear into those bad boys!

My wife has been binge watching Great British Baking Show lately, so while I was at a game yesterday, she and DD made eclairs.  this picture is all that remains, although she didn't appreciate the Paul Hollywood critique while I ate the first one

Fun thread!  I went through my phone and I only have two photos of food taken in the last six months, and neither look super appetizing (though both were tasty).  75% of my photos have my dog in them .  I volunteer at a cooking school and I'm doing a class on Friday, so I'll try to remember to take some photos there!

@echo-charlietango H and I fell in LOVE with fish soup over vacation! They do it so, so right there. I've been meaning to find a recipe and replicate it, but it's not exactly the right time of year for creamy delicious soup. Phew.

So being a vegetarian in maine is not all that great for food porn. But I'm going hard on ice cream and blueberry stuff.

@morgantu where are you in Maine that you can’t find good vegetarian food?  I use to live up there and ate very plant based at the time, I usually didn’t run into problems find good eats!!

@PensiveCrayon I had to do a double take at the first picture of your hubby.  Do people every day he looks like a younger Jason Bateman?

@LLynde5 we are in acadia right now. I'm sure I wouldn't have trouble if I were working hard to find places, but I want h to have whatever seafood he wants while we're here, so I'm just along for the ride. And the ice cream lol

@morgantu tell your husband it’s you day to eat.  I know Bar Harbor has some decent options for you or at least hit up the juice bar!
I use to live in the mid coast area, Rockland, Portland and camden.  If you end up down there let me know!!

This looks horrendous but it was actually really good — a new recipe from a woman on my D16 BMB. Sweet potatoes baked in the oven with buffalo-ranch chicken made in the instant pot, and topped with more buffalo sauce and ranch dressing. H refused to eat it () but A was happy with his sweet potato (a reliable favorite for him) and some of the chicken on the side!

I made a yummy chicken, rice, and veggie bake tonight.... at 11pm.  Cuz who needs sleep? I didn't take pics but maybe I will tomorrow. I used to be so good about my food porn.

We went out Sunday for brunch and I saved room for dessert. We had fondue, I had a really good tomato bisque soup, and then this cake. I didn’t think to take a photo until the cake came out.

Last night’s wedding buffet was amazeballs! I wanted seconds but speeches and dancing were scheduled, so instead of more pickled carrots and (non-pickled) fruit I had two servings of cake. Mmm. 

Seriously though, I looooove pickled carrots.
