Any appointments? Questions? Had my first appointment last week and everything went great! Now I just need to make it to my next appointment 8/13.

How are you feeling? I'm starting to relax a little. I'm still taking it one day at a time, but I'm in a very zen "what will be will be" mode right now. Maybe it's that I just got back from vacation. Physically, I feel a little like I'm on a boat all the time. I was on boats during my vacation, but never more than 30 minutes at a time and never more than an hour a day total. But I feel my body rocking like I'm on a boat. That can go away any time now.

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? My gut tells me it's a girl. I think that's because I feel exactly like I did with DD. But I don't have anything else to compare it to, so maybe I'm wrong. I will be happy either way, but I would really like DD to have a sister, so I guess I would lean towards girl.

Due date: 3/8

Any appointments? Questions? I had my first appointment with the NP yesterday. I meet with the OB on Tuesday. I had my dating ultrasound this morning and my earlier due date (from early ovulation) was confirmed! HR was 149. I’m just trying to enjoy the glow from the appointment. 

How are you feeling? Nauseous. I’ve barfed more times than I did last pregnancy at this point. But I’m only nauseous or hangry so far. I’m also exhausted. The afternoon slump in an office is so bad. I’m debating moving my one cup of coffee each day to later in the day. Also my skin is breaking out - along with the mood swings, I officially feel like a pissy teenage girl. 

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? I keep thinking girl but I don’t know. It’s still so early. Around 8-9w, I had a dream DS was a boy. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt so firm in something before based on a dream. I’m not that person. I honestly don’t have a preference this time. I always thought it was dumb to say you just want a healthy baby - but after my complications last time, I honestly just want a healthy baby - either sex.

Due date: 
3/7 but with very irregular periods due to breastfeeding before I got pregnant and going off the pill I have an US next week to check the DD. I think if anything it will move back and not forward.

I met with my midwife yesterday. She’s amazing and was so happy to hear the news! It’s always comforting after a difficult pregnancy last time that she is still so happy for us! 

How are you feeling?
Literally like garbage. I have no appetite and I’m basically a zombie from exhaustion! I’m also super emotional (cry about basically anything). When I do eat I’m nauseous until I eventually vomit. 

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? 
I’m definitely wishing for a girl. I’m super close with my mom and I hope to someday have a bond like I do with her with my own daughter. We also already have a son and he’s the sweetest thing so I would be okay with a baby boy too!

Due date: 3/1/19

Any appointments? Questions? Had my 8 week appointment yesterday, got to see petrie and the heartbeat again.  Has anyone been having issues with their tummy?  It's like it goes either way, I feel so backed up one day and the next is like loose.  I just switched my prenatals from the gummies to the capsules so I dont know if that is affecting me at all.  Anyone have any suggestions for a doppler to listen to the heartbeat?

How are you feeling? Actually really good.  I have very small periods at times where I'm nauseous but can usually drink water or eat something small or breathe deeply and it goes away.

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other?   I dont care either way what sex as long as its a happy healthy baby, but I really feel like I'm having a boy.  Just a gut feeling that I have.  My husband has caught me on numerous occasions calling petrie a He.

Due date: 3/1

Any appointments? Questions? My next appointment is 8/8 (also my dativersary with H!).  Due to my age, I'm eligible for insurance covered genetic testing, so we will have that done at that appointment (10w5d)  Dr said it would then take a couple weeks for the results.

How are you feeling?  I feel like I'm finally turning a corner.  I no longer feel like a zombie, unless my other 2 kids don't sleep well interrupting my sleep.  My nausea is also starting to subside.  Things are looking up!

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? I'm not really sure what this one will be.  Of course, we just want a healthy baby, but I'd be over the moon for a boy to round out that I have two girls already.  But would love a girl just as well.

Any appointments? Questions? First appointment tomorrow. I'm so anxious!! I did blood work tues so my dr would have it at the appointment. 

How are you feeling? Tired. moody. on and off nausea.

3/8/19 (First US measured at 3/10 but doc said I could stick to 3/8)

Next appointment is on 8/8 which I'm really excited/nervous about. If all is OK, I'll be about 9W5D and can't wait to see what the LO looks like! However, I did just turn 35 yesterday, so I'll need to do some research on which AMA tests I am covered for/want to do 

How are you feeling?
I've been nauseous non-stop and having some food aversions, but my mood has been so much better. I tend to deal with physical symptoms better than emotional/psychological ones, so I am happy for the switch.

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? 
Before getting KU I had such a strong preference for a girl. That's all but dissipated now, and I keep catching myself referring to LO one as "he". It's probably more a function of general concern for a healthy baby regardless of gender and using a default male pronoun, rather than intuition...it's difficult to measure this since the chances are 50/50 no matter what lol.

Had my first u/s this morning. Measuring at 8 weeks 3 days (3/4/19) but we're keeping the original due date. 

How are you feeling?
Nauseous, fat and tired and I can probably smell what people are eating for lunch one state away. My OB called in a prescription for Zofran for me and I am excited to take it and hopefully feel like I can go work out again without wanting to vomit. It didn't work with the twins but I guess your hormones are so out of whack with those it rarely does and my OB said it should work with a singleton.

I feel like it's a girl. Kind of hoping for a boy since I have two girls already but then again they're awesome and I have 6 years of super cute girl clothes and shoes stored up like a hoarder in my basement!  Will be happy either way, just want a healthy baby. We'll find out in March!

@pipsqueak624 YES to the stomach stuff! I'll be constipated for 3 or 4 days and then have to run to the bathroom for the next 3 and then back to constipated. Ugh. I'm over it.

Due date:  3/2 but it has fluctuated between Late Feb/Early March with different US.

I've had 3 appointments so far. 2 because I had spotting in week 6 that ended up being totally normal. Monday we had our first NP appointment and it went very well. I've been going to her since high school, so she knows me and is able to talk me down from my anxiety.

How are you feeling?
Anxious and emotional, also nauseous and like I have a super hero sense of smell.  Overall excited to be progressing in the pregnancy, and to see a human-like US!

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? 
I think it's a boy and have caught myself saying "he".  DH is convinced it's a girl, but this is our first so we would be ecstatic either way!

Any appointments? Questions? I had one scheduled for the 31st, and it got pushed back another week. Seriously anxious. Anyone else waiting this long for an appt?

How are you feeling? Yesterday, my best friend and I took our kids to the zoo and I felt awesome all day... so maybe I just need more fresh air in my life.
In general, tired, nauseous (but no puking!), and headachey. Like a hangover with none of the fun.

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? H thinks girl. I think boy. But I thought boy the first time around and was wrong... Zero preference one way or the other.

Due date: Original was 3/3, New EDD is 3/9

Any appointments? Questions? - Had an U/S this past friday and now waiting anxiously for my next appointment which isn't until 8/13! That's when we'll be doing some genetic testing and having a general conversation with the doctor. Next U/S isn't until 8/24. My question: Is it excessive to ask to have an U/S on the 13th as well? I'd like one just for reassurance.... it feel like a long wait to not see baby for a full month (LOL) - just want to make sure everything is OK in there! 

How are you feeling? - Great! Hardly any symptoms at all. I get a little tired, I'm a little hungrier than usual. Trying to embrace this as "lucky" but I have tons of anxiety about not knowing if something goes wrong due to having no symptoms. First pregnancy, so extra nervous I suppose! 

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? - No preference but I feel like it's a boy!!! Just my gut. We had to cancel our trip to Jamaica after we got our BFP, so my DH jokes "It has to be a girl - she's selfish already!" ("like mother like daughter" joke)

You can ask for an ultrasound, but if they give it to you, be prepared to pay for it.  Some insurance only covers ultrasounds on certain visits.  Extras can be out of pocket.

Due date: 8 March, but will probably deliver end of Feb/start of March because of repeat C section.

Any appointments? Questions? No appointments this week. My nuchal is booked for 27 August, and I'll see my GP for a check up around then too.

How are you feeling? Terrible. Nausea, my boobs are all kinds of painful, mood swings, the whole 9 yards.

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? I think it's a boy. For 2 generations, my husband's family has only had boys. I reckon they only shoot boys. I really want a girl, but I'm happy for a healthy baby with no issues.

@LilLambie MH is also a descendent of male only families. Here's to hoping we break the tradition, lol. Hope you feel better soon, btw!

@indigoheightsblog Oh man, canceling a trip to Jamaica is a bummer! I'm assuming the reason is due to zika? I really wanted to take a trip to SouthEast Asia before we started a family but dang zika is making most travel to tropical regions off limits...except Bora Bora, which I keep pointing out to MH

@navete yuppppp LO had other plans for us! We were going for a huge family wedding, so we were forced to tell 65 people at 4 weeks pregnant which was insanely nerve wracking.... but there’s no excuse as to why we’d cancel on the wedding 5 days out when we had flights and an all-inclusive stay!!!! We tried to think of excuses (quickly due to lack of time) but even our doctor advised us to just fess up, stress that it was very early, and then breathe. LOL.

Nothing scheduled until August 24th. So far away!! I asked for a Friday morning because I don’t work on Fridays, so that is what I ended up with. 

How are you feeling?
Nauseous is worse this week and I’m more tired. Less motivation to do anything after work. I feel a lot better when I’m exercising but I’ve been too tired to do much of that either. 

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other?
DH and I both think another girl and DD is hoping for a sister. She gets upset if we mention the possibility of a brother. We will see. Fine either way as long as baby is healthy!

Due date: 3/7 (although at my first us they estimated 3/9, they said they wouldn't change my EDD just yet)

How are you feeling?    
So exhausted! I just cannot get enough sleep. I have nausea throughout the day but no puking yet. I'm nervous because my thyroid is acting up and I need to wait another week to get in to see my dr. I'm hoping he'll agree we need to up my medication but he seems a bit clueless about thyroid-during-pregnancy type stuff.  

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? My gut tells me it's a girl. That's probably just because I have a DD already so I can picture us with another girl. Of course all I want is a healthy baby, but I admit I'm torn. I want a boy (mostly because I know DH would love a son) but I have 2 sisters and totally wouldn't mind having ALL girls I'll take whatever I can get, I'm just excited to find out! No team green over here!

Appointments, I won't be having any until midway through this pregnancy. 

Feeling, decent. Still sick off and on, but no puking so far! Dry heaves though. 

Boy or girl, no feelings either way. I didn't last time either. My husband thought our daughter was a girl, and he was obviously right. He doesn't have any feelings yet, but it'll be interesting if he develops one, and we'll see if he's right! I don't really have a desire either way. We would like to have a boy eventually, just because we'd like at least one of each, but I wouldn't be sad about another girl. I also picture my H with a little girl in a poofy dress in each arm on the way to church, and I think about how cute it would be. I honestly don't really care, and we won't be finding out until birth.

Due date: I am saying March 9th right now, but I feel like that's going to change. 

Any appointments? First prenatal appointment is next week. Questions? I have a whole list of questions for my doctor. One that I feel like she is going to judge me a little for is... Can I still go to the indoor shooting range? I enjoy going but I haven't been since I found out I was pregnant because boyfriend is concerned about lead poisoning. 

How are you feeling? I feel fine. Most days I'm tired, a few days ago I was freaking exhausted! And breasts seem to hurt all the time. I'm ready for that to be done. 

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? I kinda feel like it's going to be a boy. Wishing for one or the other? I kinda hope it's a boy because we have been talking about names and we have a huge list of boy names but almost no girl names. That's silly for that to be the reason I want a boy but there it is. I have an ultrasound next Thursday 8/2 and I'll meet with a NP. It'll be my 3rd one just to make sure everything's progressing well.

How are you feeling? 
My nausea is a lot better than it was weeks 5-7. It's just every once in a while when I think of certain foods or catch a whiff of a not great smell, or just random times, too. Because I'm on summer break and really doing nothing, it's hard to tell if I'm tired or just lazy...we'll go with more tired than I should be while doing nothing. Also, I'm so bloated! I'm having a really hard time with pants right now.

I don't have a feeling either way yet. I'll be happy with either, but a girl would be my mom's first granddaughter so that would be nice.

Pretty yucky today- nauseous and tired and just blah feeling. Day by day it seems to come and go

Any appointments? Questions? I don't see my new OB until 8/6. We are heading out of town so they have to bump me back a week *TW* I am SO anxious after a loss and I'm also switching offices.

How are you feeling? SO queasy, exhausted. I remember feeling this tired with my older 2 but my goodness the nausea is unreal. I have days where I question if everything is OK because it subsides and then BAM I'm on the couch all day or can't stay out of the bathroom.

@indigoheightsblog oh NO that is awful!! Did you get a refund at least? Also, RE: the US, would you feel OK with hearing the HB for reassurance? Extra US are $$$ but worth it for piece of mind! Once I could hear baby on the doppler I felt much better. It's so nerve-wracking though. 

@novelblessings you sound just like me. I know I'd feel better if I got in a quick workout but it's SO hard. Is anything helping with your nausea? I am 8 weeks today and dreading it getting worse

Any appointments? Questions? First appointment was 7/12 where we got a dating US and everything looked great. Next appointment is 8/9 which is just a general prenatal appointment.

How are you feeling? Nauseous, tired, sensitive to smells. Today I actually feel not as nauseous, but it comes and goes and typically lasts all day. The worst is that we are doing bathroom construction at my office and the SMELLS from the porta potty trailer thing are killing me. Haha. It would be bad enough without my superhero smelling.

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other?  I have no feeling either way. My husband, however, is convinced it's a girl. Even calling the baby the name we picked out for a girl. Haha. I have no preference at this point. It's our first, so either sounds exciting.

Due date: 3/6 - my mom's birthday! 

Any appointments? Questions? I had my first ultrasound on Tuesday and we got to hear the heartbeat! No questions yet  next appointment is 8/22.

How are you feeling? Tired, occasionally nauseous with dry heaving 2x. If I am good about eating fruit/veggies I can manage the constipation. Some aversion to smells
Most cravings hit at like 7:30 pm. 

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other? I just want a healthy baby. I have been told that since all my cravings are savory it is probably a boy, and we did drive by a restaurant with the same name as the boy's name we picked out last week, so that's a silly coincidence.

@abbykwail The "sweet cravings = girl" wives' tale was one of the only ones that matched up with my dd. I still think they're kind of fun, though. And like your restaurant coincidence, I had just been talking in the car about having a boy, got home and there was a pamphlet on our door with my boy name frontrunner on it. (It's a biblical name, and the pamphlet was from a church.)

@mamashark123 I’d definitely feel better hearing a heartbeat but Doppler’s worry me because if you don’t use them correctly, you can make yourself panic for no reason! Also don’t they only work further along? I’m all new to this so totally clueless!

Due date: 3/6

Any appointments? Questions? My first appointment is next week. My ob sent me to the ER earlier this week for right sided pain to r/o EP and all was fine. The U/S tech was aggressive though (trying to visualize appendix) so it was not a pleasant first u/s

How are you feeling? Exhausted.  I forgot the first tri fatigue.  I think it’s even worse being older This time around. Some food aversions and headaches. Otherwise I feel ok. 

GTKY: Do you have a feeling if it’s a boy or a girl? Wishing for one or the other?  I kind of think it’s  a girl. I don’t have a preference (i have one of each) but if I had to choose isn’t choose boy because  that’s would be a smaller age differenence (DD is 8 and DS is 5)

@cdiddy81 this is my first and I'm going to be 40 next month. I have also been so freaking exhausted! I know it's normal during the first trimester (practically everyone I know has kids and has been telling me it's normal) but I always wondered if it might not be worse for me because of my age. Glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks that!

Just turned 35, so count me in for the older mom crowd lol. I hadn’t considered my age as the reason behind the fatigue I’m experiencing but I think you ladies are onto something. I keep asking MH if this is it, and I’m just gonna be tired for the rest of my life...I sure hope that’s not the case!

I’m also feeling so much more exhausted this time around. For me, I think it’s also because I’m taking care of my 14 month old and th heat has been AWFUL. Yesterday I felt like I couldn’t move. UGH.

I’m with you girls on the exhaustion! @chocolatelemons yes to the heat! Anytime I’m outside for an extended period I just want to come in and nap! Plus it messes with my anxiety. I’m also taking care my 16 month old and yikes! I cry to DH about once a week about how I feel like the worst mom right now because all I want is to lay down.
