  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
4 weeks. Baby is the size of sawdust.
    2. How are you feeling?
Good physically, Unsure and anxious mentally.
    3. Any appointments this week?
    Not until August 13th
    4. Rants/raves/questions?
Not much. I wish these first few weeks would go by faster. I feel really unsure about this pregnancy right now, even though I've had no signs of spotting or strong cramps. But today I hit 72% likely to not have a miscarriage, so that feels like a relief. Each day after today it increases 1%. I just need something to distract myself, but unfortunately work has been excruciatingly slow lately. And when I do have something to do, it involves walking around on ships, up and down stairs in the heat in an industrial environment, which also makes me uneasy. Anybody else work in an environment that might not be 100% safe for baby? I'm debating telling work after my first appointment instead of once I start showing like I did last time.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
    5 weeks, Appleseed
    2. How are you feeling?
Feeing pretty good just really tired!
    3. Any appointments this week?
Had an appointment on Monday to have an ultrasound to see placement. Will have another next Thursday to hopefully see a heartbeat. *TW due to our loss history we are having a lot of early appointments, which I really appreciate!*
    4. Rants/raves/questions?
Trying not to wish the days away but just wanting to get through the first trimester so I feel less worried!

  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 6 weeks, a pea

    2. How are you feeling?all day  Nausea started Monday

    3. Any appointments this week? Have our first US on Friday to make sure everything is going good.

    4. Rants/raves/questions. Ugh my house is full of sickness. My daughter caught Hand, Foot, Mouth and Strep throat Thursday and now I have HFM. We canceled our vacay and are just waiting for it to pass. It’s unfortunate being pregnant you can’t take much to help the symptoms.

@meggyme I would call your doctor if you’re worried and tell them your concerns and see what they say.

@char245 I too hate the first trimester when it’s the highest risk of Mc. For me I started to relax when I could find the heartbeat on a home Doppler.
  • @SWE2 I’m so sorry you both have HFM! My daughter had a fever yesterday and when I took her in they said HFM is really going around right now :( Luckily her fever is gone today so I’m hoping we are in the clear. Hope you feel better quickly!
  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 4w and a poppyseed

    2. How are you feeling? Just fine - the typical super early pregnancy stuff where I feel like I'm not pregnant 99% of the time (which always makes me so nervous).

    3. Any appointments this week? First U/S and prenatal on 8/6

    4. Rants/raves/questions. No rants or raves, but I can't wait for my boobs to get bigger :D I have small boobs and they get huge during pregnancy and breastfeeding - fun perk! HAHA!

  • @meggyme I'm confused - why is your MC rate at 72% and increasing by 1% each day? I mean, eventually it would hit 100%... I don't think 72% of pregnancies end in MC at any point. Is everything ok?

  • @Sweetest116 I think she was saying that there is a 72% chance she won’t have a Mc and the chance lessens by a percentage point each day. So looking at the positive instead of saying a 28% chance of mc.
  • @char245 well that makes way more sense! Thanks for clarifying! Boy, I wish the positive side was brought forward more when I was pregnant with my previous two kids... definitely helps to think positively!

  • @Sweetest116 yeah, I was quoting from the "Odds of NOT having a Miscarriage" Thread. 72% chance of NOT having a miscarriage and increasing every day.
