Waiting on my midwife home visit on Thursday. It's mostly just a quick check up, but looking forward to talking about my SPD pain and the baby's breech positioning - I can't do much about the breech that doesn't irritate the SPD. Hopefully she'll have some insight!

@pourmeamocktail the SPD and sciatica is in full force here. I’ve been going to chiro and it’s not helping too much. I would just love to be able to walk or get up out of bed without hurting.
Had my 28 week appointment this morning. I’ve lost .5 lbs since my last appointment, but the Dr said I am still doing okay and that the baby is growing. My fundal height was appropriate so no worries. Also did my GD screening. The glucola made me really sick at my stomach so I am hoping I pass and don’t have to go in for the three hour test.
32 weeks and a day ultrasound update: my son is ABOVE the 98th percentile... Measuring a month ahead overall. His head is measuring at 40 weeks in the "above the 99th percentile". The doctor came in to varify and explain the ultrasound and the first she said was "so your doctor is probably going to freak out-thats a bad choice of words-your doctor is likely to be concerned" because he's soooooooooo big! Only got one good face photo before he turned around. He's head down already and since he's so big, he's unlikely to flip. Either I'm getting induced early at 39 weeks or he's coming via C-section, just depends on if he can even come out! His shoulders may not be able to get out even if I can even get his head out! He's off the charts even for above average. I have another ultrasound in five weeks to measure and make the escape plan! He's already 6lbs2oz (+/-1lb)... I have 7 weeks before I'm 39weeks... At a lb a week... That's a 12-14 lb baby!
I knew he'd be big, but not this big! He's going to come out a toddler! I was 10lbs and 2 weeks late, DH was 8lbs and three weeks late. My dad, a twin was seven... And one of DH's brothers was almost 13lbs... We were genetically screwed to begin with but this is just insane. And I'm not diabetic and I don't have high BP which can cause big babies! Not to mention I've lost over 30lbs!!!
This is just insanity. He's officially coming in August now though!
@klj0228 yes! That's been measuring way ahead too. He's just going to be a huge baby. I keep getting told it was nothing I could control, just genetics
@fftm9318 are they sure of your due date if you’re measuring that far ahead? Also, ultrasounds can still be up to a pound off in measurements. Don’t worry just yet. And seriously, you’d be surprised what your pelvis can handle.
FWIW, I'm not so sure baby adding a steady pound per week is terribly realistic. If average is more like a half a pound per week from here on out, sure baby may grow more than average, but probably not actually DOUBLE. ;) Fx for all good updates and baby growing happy, healthy, and Just. Right. ❤ @fftm9318

Yes, this. A half pound a week is way more realistic
Had my 32 week check up today. My iron is back up to more normal levels! Yay! Baby’s heartbeat was good and I’m now measuring a week ahead. No surprise there. One surprise was that baby is no longer head down. Not cool, kid! Your brother and sister were ALWAYS head down! Don’t stress me out about needing you to flip!
30 week check-up done. Super quick as expected. Measuring on track, BP and weight were good, and baby's heartbeat sounded great on the doppler. Scheduled out my 32, 34, and 36 week appointments so I don't get stuck with the on-call OB again (which thankfully ended up not having any impact on today's appointment).

I had my 30 week appointment on Wednesday and all was good (until I fell the next day, but all is still fine). Her heartbeat is strong, my glucose results were fine, and I had her recheck me for a yeast infection, which was fine. A perfectly average appointment, which I will take.
Yesterday baby was great, I got to hear baby myself with a special stethoscope-no electricity so it's cool. Other than breech and SPD pain, no issues, so we made a plan of action for breech including scheduling a version (manual turning of baby) and making a plan for what to do if it doesn't work-aka vaginal breech delivery plan. Feeling at least confident because having plans makes me feel good.

@adirat Yay for good appointment! When I got my TDAP shot, I asked the nurse if it would hurt and she said not if I relaxed my arm. Well I relaxed my arm and it was still sore.

@fftm9318 Wow! My baby is measuring big also, but not quite that big - 89th percentile and almost 3 weeks ahead at 28 week ultrasound. They keep telling me it’s a good thing but that they will have to watch his growth to be sure I can deliver vaginally. They said that if he was measuring even a little bit further ahead, they would change my due date. You might want to ask about yours. I have a growth scan at 32 weeks (next week). We were very normal sized babies, so I was not expecting this. I’m happy that he is healthy though!
@lisac113 He really got lucky! My arm is just now feeling mostly back to normal 48 hours later. I actually told my husband I think he should go get his TDAP in advance (as opposed to in the hospital when I deliver) so he's not battling a sore arm when he wants to hold the baby.
@lisac113 My arm hurt for like 4-5 days. It was super annoying. It's like that every time I've gotten it
