How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks, size of an endive, pomegranate, chipotle burrito, and a least weasel. How are you feeling? Symptoms? Pretty good, but I still feel like I'm getting more tired than I should be from certain things. I've also started having some more anxiety about baby coming early. I'm hoping I'll start feeling better about it the further along I go (22 weeks, the point they will medically intervene and 24 weeks, technically viability). Appointments this week? Just my progesterone shot! Rants/Raves/Questions: I feel guilty about wishing my summer and pregnancy away. I feel like I'm just waiting for time to pass and want it to do so quickly! I know it's mostly because I'm worried about baby coming early and I just want to get to a point where I know she will be OK if something does happen. We are going on a mini vacation soon and I hope I can just relax and enjoy some time away at the beach! GTKY: Going with the siggy challenge theme... What is your all-time favorite "Summer Movie"? The Sandlot! I've loved this movie since I was a kid. It's hilarious and heartwarming and I never get tired of it.
How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks!!!! Baby is the size of a burrito! How are you feeling? Symptoms? Pretty good! Been having some pelvic pain on and off this weekend but I know it's "normal". Still get some heartburn and all that fun, but overall I'm enjoying 2nd trimester. Of course I wake up 2-3 times a night to pee and I'm uncomfortable and all that "fun" but I'm doing good overall. LOVE feeling baby girl wiggling Appointments this week? Nope! Nothing until August 1 Rants/Raves/Questions: So at my AS the tech did the "guesstimate" on how big baby is and said she's 14oz! I know that the averages for size/weight week to week differ and plus US isn't super accurate for that measurement, but would it be super SS to email my OB to be like so is my due date off or isn't that like... "big" for 20+5 (at the time of my AS)? I totally forgot to ask her during my appt. Granted she's great about emailing me back and will probably just laugh and say meh who knows. OB also brought up possibly doing a growth scan in 2 months after telling me to keep her posted re: spotting. I wonder what the thought process is for that (not that I'm complaining, potentially seeing how big Little Dot is always a highlight). GTKY: Going with the siggy challenge theme... What is your all-time favorite "Summer Movie"? Hmmm... so hard. So many of the gifs people are choosing I'm like OMG LOVE! OMG LOVE! I don't know if I can pick an all time favorite. Maybe Dirty Dancing? Or Grease? Sandlot is awesome... so is the Goonies... ahhh I dunno. ALL THE MOVIES!

How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks, baby is the size of a large carrot or endive
How are you feeling? Symptoms? Feeling better buy super tired with headaches that I wish would go away. I also have some lower back pain.
Appointments this week? Had appointment this morning, discussed my last ultrasound- placenta previa, and some things they want to monitor in the baby like a pocket of cerebral spinal fluid that was formed like a cyst and also a little spot in the heart.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Just getting a little worried/overwhelmed. Feeling a lot of nerves after the last ultrasound and all the unknowns and also just feeling like that's a lot to do before baby gets here.
GTKY: Going with the siggy challenge theme... What is your all-time favorite "Summer Movie"? That's so hard! I feel like I love them all. Top ones might be dirty dancing or the sandlot.
How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks, Chinchilla
How are you feeling? Symptoms? Overall, I'm feeling okay. Lots of lower back/hip pain when I overdo it.
Appointments this week? Nope, glucose test at the end of the month.
Rants/Raves/Questions: We're supposed to start cleaning out the extra bedroom (future nursery) this weekend and I cannot wait. I don't know if I nesting, or whatever, but I'm SO READY to get started on his room.
GTKY: Going with the siggy challenge theme... What is your all-time favorite "Summer Movie"? 500 Days of Summer immediately came to mind, but also Now and Then.
@CopperBoom86 I love now and then! I'm hoping I can get DH to help clean out his old office a little each day this week. We are leaving Sunday for a mini vacation and I doubt he will want to do anything when we get back =\
2. Symptoms? - just tired. Ugh I wish I could sleep all day haha!
3. Appts- none until 7/23
4. Rants/Raves/Questions - my dad really annoyed me bc when we told him we’re having a second girl he said “maybe the third kid will be a boy.” First off, there will NOT be a third, we’re done at two. And secondly, we are so happy with another girl. It made me so stabby that he put his gender disappointment on me like that.
5. GTKY - I’m gonna jump on the Dirty Dancing bandwagon here, but really... how am I supposed to pick just one summer movie?!? Too many good ones!!! Now I feel the need for a movie night!
@lurvleybunchococonuts I was 20 + 6 at my anatomy scan and baby was also 14 oz. The tech told me it was 63rd percentile, so just a little bigger than average
How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks! Grapefruit....I think?
How are you feeling? Symptoms? Lots of cramping, but usually it's because I need to pee, or I just peed, or I need to drink more....lol. Also having Braxton Hicks now. I have at least a few a day, but nothing to stress about. Heartburn has started, and my congestion is still going strong. So I sleep with three pillows at this point...lol. Overall, I feel great. Zoloft has helped immensely with my anxiety/depression, so I'm thrilled about that. BEST.DECISION.EVER to ask for help
Appointments this week? Nope, next one is on the 18th, and then the one hour glucose at the end of the month
Rants/Raves/Questions: England is going through a drought, so it's been super hot (90 degrees...plus they have no AC over here in the houses or buildings!), and no rain for over a month. Supposedly it's the longest it's been without rain in 42 years! My backyard is DEAD. We've been making the most out of it though, and getting outside a bunch. We had a pool/grilling weekend. I've made lots of progress on baby girl's room. The last of the items to come out of that room now have a place to go...so I just have to get DH to actually move them I think we're going to start buying stuff next month....which is crazy, but also exciting. I can't wait to have the room finished, and for all my girls to have their rooms squared away. Since our house is so small here, it's been chaos trying to find space, so both of my girls have had huge changes to their own rooms such as new beds, new storage options (England doesn't do closets either!), etc. I'll be glad to have it all finished so I can relax the last couple of months. And lastly, my verbally delayed little girl has been saying a stream of new words, and even put three words together yesterday "Momma, Bee!, LOOK!" I'm so proud of her.
GTKY: Going with the siggy challenge theme... What is your all-time favorite "Summer Movie"? Top Gun! But I don't know if that's really a summer movie...lol. Dirty Dancing has always been a favorite of mine, as well as Grease 1&2.
@middleschoolmommy What beach are y'all headed to? I hope you get to relax a bit, and just soak up the time away from "real life."
@lurvleybunchococonuts I think my little one was about 12oz or so, which put us right around the 50th percentile. So I think your LO is right on track. I do know that they most likely won't adjust your due date at this point as it wouldn't be accurate to do so. They strictly use the the early ultrasounds for dating purposes as they are the most accurate. At this point they're just looking for growth percentiles, and to make sure that the baby is growing, and growing proportionally. So they compare the abdominal, head, and femur measurements against one another. As for the rescan reason, I could see her wanting to make sure the blood loss isn't effecting growth. Sometimes if there are placenta issues, the growth will be slowed, or impacted. I'm sure she's just being cautious
@jkmartin723 Sorry the unknowns are getting to you! Do you have appointments in the future to monitor those things that they are worried about? I hope you get clarification on them soon. It's so tough to play the waiting game. Keep us updated!
@CopperBoom86 What kind of plans do you have for his room? Are you going themed or keeping it simple?
@iheartbooks UGH! We went through the same thing! It's so frustrating to have family do that to you....It's like, why can't they just be happy for a new little human to join the family regardless of gender? We're having our third girl, so I completely understand. My FIL in particular was so disappointed last time. And then we immediately started hearing about how the next one could still be a boy....GAG. We told everyone by text this time so we wouldn't have to hear about it.
How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks/coconut How are you feeling? Symptoms? I am still so tired. I think I may mention it to my Dr. Still puffy, RLP is a beeotch, amd itchy Appointments this week? I am going in to get my BP checked and find out when I see the Dr again. My guess is in two weeks. Rants/Raves/Questions: I've heard ppl mention their disappointment over this baby being a boy too. They don't say it to me because they know I will go off on them. They tell H instead or my sister. What's ridiculous is that my sister has three girls and no one was upset/disappointed for her. I guess they just like to pester us because it took us forever to have kids and then, of course, we didnt so it right. Ppl get on my ever loving nerves and I do a lot of tongue biting since whatever patience I have is almost non existent while pg. GTKY: Going with the siggy challenge theme... What is your all-time favorite "Summer Movie"? Like @CopperBoom86 I love 500 days of Summer, but the Sandlot always has a special place in my heart.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Baby boy measured 9 oz at 18 weeks then at 20 he measured 12 oz! So, I think you are right on target. My H produces giant babies as evidenced by the fact that ds, born at 35 weeks, weighed 6lbs6oz and was 18.5 inches long. So, there's that.
@josie12367@wildrainbow Ohhh awesome! Good to know! I honestly was going by TB's weekly updates and what they "predict" for weight/size and was like holy crow baby is even bigger than they say the "average" is for the following week, how big is this kid?!

@josie12367 we are just heading to Galveston. We told DS we would take him to a beach and want to get him more familiar with the beach/water before we (hopefully) go on a cruise for Christmas.
@wildrainbow I think so too! I ended up watching several videos on youtube with this weasel. Makes me want one as a pet lol
@josie12367 Thanks, I do have follow up ultrasounds scheduled every 4 weeks to keep an eye on stuff until things resolve or baby decides to come. Mt next ultrasound next week so I'll keep you all posted.
