Five business days coming up! Tell us about your appointments this week.

I have my 20-week ultrasound on Thursday! I'll be 19+3 but my doc gave me the option of 19-20 weeks. (I didn't ask why I got a range and just tried not to read into that too much—tough for an overthinker!) I'm excited to see him but also getting more anxious as we get closer.
I have my anatomy scan on Friday! Very excited since we don't know the gender yet For once, I am also not scared since I am 99.9% sure I have been feeling baby's kicks consistently for the past two weeks and it honestly feels like they are getting stronger! I mean, I know there can be things they find in the anatomy scan that may need to be monitored, but most of them seem to work out on their own as part of normal development, so I am trying not to worry about that.
Good luck with all of the ultrasounds this week everyone! My AS is scheduled for a month from today.
Today I had my 16 week appointment. It was really quick and boring, but I was glad to hear the hb on the Doppler. I hadn’t had an appointment since I was 11 weeks and I was nervous about my lack of symptoms and finishing the first tri without problems.
She told me to try to calm down and enjoy that I have an easy pregnancy. I’ll try to now that I know baby is still alive in there, and I’ll be able to feel him/her soon. I just worried that something was wrong because I didn’t feel pregnant and it was too early to see/feel baby too.
I think we are going to switch from team green to team finding out at the anatomy scan. We are still so lost on names. We need to be able to cut our list in half and buckle down on finding a handful that might work when baby is born.
Thursday must be the lucky day! I also have my second anatomy scan as last weeks results are being deemed incorrect by the hospital. Hopefully with correct measuring this time baby girl won’t be “too small”. I’m sure she’s fine - my belly has grown a lot this past week and she’s moving like crazy. Fingers crossed she’s fine in there (can’t help but be a little anxious). Good luck everyone!
@hellohilly Hi! Yes, if you would like to share your appointment findings - this is the place. There is a separate thread for genetic results for sharing NIPT, amnio, CVS, etc. results too.

@countrygirl624 I'm sure everything will be great! I am glad the hospital was able to give you a little bit of feedback. Obviously, they are not too worried and hopefully you will get some reassurance at your scan on Thursday.

I went through this with my DD. We had to go back for an hour scan. Everything was fine, I just make tiny babies. FX!
Add me to the list of Thursday appointments this week Though mine is just the 16 week visit, I’m excited to hear the heartbeat. I’m also seeing a different OB in the practice because mine is on vacation. I love my OB, she’s amazing, but I’m a little glad for the opportunity to meet another one of the OBs, as who knows who will be on call when I deliver. Also we’re checking my thyroid again tomorrow. I’m guessing it’s still not well-controlled, but I’m hoping it’s not too much worse.
So jealous of all the A/Ss this week!! Mine's not until the 23rd. I do have an appointment Friday though, just a regular check in. @katzalia my OB is on vacation too, so I'll be seeing someone else this time, too! Super ready to hear the heart beat again though, I get so nervous during this in between where my symptoms slow down but I can't see/feel baby yet.
So somehow my OB was actually here today after all, which was a nice surprise. Baby had a strong beautiful heartbeat. I gained 3 lbs from last month, so I’m no longer worrying about losing weight. And my husband’s SMA finally came back and it’s negative. All in all, I’m feeling better physically and finally feel like I don’t have to worry about all the things.
No news yet on my thyroid but we’ll see where it lands today.
Sooooo relieved to report a great a/s from this morning. Measuring right on track, everything intact. Sex confirmed - male, as our NIPT results told us. Gonna drop a photo here instead of the u/s thread 'cause I'm lazy. Don't smite me, board sticklers.
Alright - so second ultrasound has baby girl a little small still. Her cerebellum is 18% (anything between 10-90% is “normal”) which they said it’s the most important measurement since it’s her brain. I got to see her open and close her mouth!! So amazing. So the Dr is having me get some blood work done to see if I have APLS, autoimmune disease, since I previously had two miscarriages before this one. If I do it’s some medication and shouldn’t be a big deal. Also go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound. My tech told me her second daughter was measuring behind the entire pregnancy and born at like 38 weeks at 5lbs 6ounces and is perfectly fine today. Soooo currently waiting to get blood drawn and I’m not even worried one bit. Her heartbeat was 159 and she was 10 ounces. She’s so cute and I’m so in love with her already.
@MDKC14 Good to know and thanks! I‘m tiny so I wouldn’t except baby girl to be enormous in there! Haha!
Yes! Both of mine were less than 7lbs. Then at my sono today they said this one is measuring about a week behind (exactly what they said about my others) so I'm sure she'll be here early
@Katzalia in my last bmb I was due may 27 and actually had the last baby born, I felt sooo behind everyone, but it was nice to see what else people were experiencing to know what I was going to get into lol
@Katzalia I'm with you on the feeling behind. I'm also about 4 weeks behind, at 16+3 today. I'm hoping I can learn from what everyone else goes through!

All you mamas who are 20 weeks or nearing halfway, I am a little jealous. I’m 4 weeks behind....
