    Symptoms?
Nausea, exhaustion feeling hungry constantly, irritable

    R/R/Q
rave: I’ve been sleeping pretty well at night. At this point w/ my first, I had insomnia.

I slept in an extra hour this morning instead of working out, and it felt awesome. Not something I want to make a habit of, though.

GTKY: What fictional world would you live in?
Harry Potter. Being able to do magic? Heck yes.
    Married: May 2012

How big is baby? kidney bean

Symptoms? The nausea has gotten a bit better, but maybe it's just because I'm eating everything in sight.

R/R/Q: My first appointment is finally only a week away. I've been feeling confident so far, but I'm starting to get nervous. This week can't go fast enough.

GTKY: What fictional world would you live in?
Another Harry Potter lover here. But, like, post-Voldemort.

    How big is baby?
Playing die/jellybean/Altoid (@saltedcaramel518 I have all the apps too haha!)

    Symptoms?
Just feeling sick and exhausted all the time.  Saltines have been very helpful.  Sore nipples.  Waking in the night to pee (which sucks because with my first two this was never an issue until third tri).

    R/R/Q
Work is unbelievably busy and stressful right now which isn't helping the exhaustion!

GTKY: What fictional world would you live in?
@kns1988 you had me laughing at post-Voldemort.  I'll sit at that table.  I would like to live in the non-terrifying/murdery Harry Potter world.

    Symptoms?
    Nausea and exhaustion

Rant: I’m just generally feeling awful and I’ve never felt this way in pregnancy. I am nauseaous if I don’t eat every few hours, but once I eat an actual meal, I am uncomfortably full. I’m having a hard time sleeping which hasn’t happened until third tri usually. And I’m exhausted, so I don’t understand the not being able to sleep. Today I have a headache and just feel crummy.

GTKY: What fictional world would you live in?
HP nerd here, so definitely Harry Potter world.

Just prior to getting pregnant, I had been working really hard to get in better shape. I had lost 15 lbs, and had 10 more to go. It's really hard watching and feeling my tummy bloat out as I slowly lose the almost flat tummy I had been working so hard for.  I know that sounds shallow and stupid, but I've had to work hard to lose weight and get back in shape after each of my pregnancies. It's disheartening to see that hard work slipping away again already.
GTKY: What fictional world would you live in?
Probably the DC comics universe, but only if I got superpowers.

  • I feel you @libertymomrn. I had DD2 May 17 and had just lost 40 lbs and hit lifetime at WW the week before our BFP. I feel like I’ve already gained 10 lbs and the pants that I worked so hard to fit into for months are already tight.
  • @libertymomrn that is hard but it’s awesome that you were making progress like that and I have no doubt you will be able to get it right back after this baby arrives!

I on the other hand am starting off this pregnancy at my highest (non-pregnant) weight ever. With my last two pregnancies I had managed to shed about 10 lbs in the months leading up to BFP—not so this time. I’m nervous about how big I’ll get but just trying to focus on eatimg good foods (when I can eat at all lol) and continuing to exercise frequently.

    Somewhere magical!
  • @achays11, on the positive side, it's so great that you're down 40 pounds to start this pregnancy! It'll be so much easier to get back to it afterwards.

    8 weeks today!

    How big is baby?
    Wild strawberry according to Ovia

    Symptoms?
Sore and tender boobs. Fatigue. Less nausea than last week though!

    R/R/Q
I ran over a curb today in a parking lot after I got my Starbucks. Car mounted up a bit but I wasn’t injured or anything. Just went back down and went on my merry way. I don’t have any cramps but my paranoia goes to “what if this detached the baby somehow” blah blah right now. I am fairly positive baby is well cushioned in there and I see my doc tomorrow for my first appt so I’m trying not to worry! Anyone experienced something similar before?!

GTKY: What fictional world would you live in?
I can’t think of any right now!
  • @AliKay20 I’m sure everything is fine! When I was pregnant with my DS I took a nasty fall down the stairs.  I panicked and my doctor checked things out but said they’re super cushioned in there at this point!

    How big is baby?
Weighs as much as a paperclip.

    Symptoms?
The usual. Nothing spectacular or worth mentioning.

    R/R/Q
Last night at 9:00pm DH found a truck that he wanted to buy. He messaged the guy and before I could say no we were on the way to get it. We didn't get home until after midnight. I was so exhausted trying to drive our vehicle back. To top it off, I had to work today. The things that man gets me into.

GTKY: What fictional world would you live in?
Definitely the world where Avatar takes place.
