I noticed mine Memorial Day weekend when I got into a swimsuit the first time.

Tiredness is getting a tad better. Switched to a prenatal with iron and making sure to take extra vitamin D. Seems to be helping!  Definitely have general soreness all over though.

I’m so swollen “down there” that it’s actually uncomfortable to walk. I don’t know how I’m going to survive the summer like this.

@starla my linea nigra never fully went away (I wasn’t still nursing when I got pregnant again though) and the further I get along in this pregnancy the more it fades. I am so confused.

@yosemite2018 same here! I had a super dark, all the way up my belly linea nigra with my last pregnancy that never completely faded, and now that I'm pregnant again, it's completely gone.

I haven't had insomnia until the past few days, it is brutal!   I feel for everyone dealing with it.  My body wants to sleep for about 5 hours total, and not consecutively.  I may break down and take a unisom tonight or tomorrow.   My worse symptom is anxiety, I need to find a better way to deal with it.  My constipation has finally gotten under control, I am thinking that adding watermelon and bananas into my diet along with my daily dose of colace is finally working.  However my anxiety starts to make me freak out that something is wrong.

My energy has dropped a ton. I’m just 24 weeks and was not prepared for the plummet, I cannot seem to get anything done anymore.

@adirat I am so glad you were able to go 6 days without being sick. I bet you loved that! In the first and early second trimester as miserable as I was I told myself the baby was growing strong and healthy. Now I feel like it is a cruel joke.

@lisac113 Bananas are actually a bulking food. They are the B in the BRAT diet to bulk up and harden stool when you have diahrreah.

@lisac113 That's strange! I guess go with what works for you. I just thought I'd mention it in case you needed further help to get things moving. ;)

    edited June 2018
The nausea has been nonexistant since about 14 weeks, it came back so much worse this week at 25 weeks. After struggling for 8 hours I got sent home from work, at which point my boss and coworker had to drive me and my car home. That evening I went into the ER for IV fluids. 24 hours before I could keep water down, and 36 hours before food was okay  :'( I've been taking Zofran the last two days and had to start the Unisom/B6 combo in the evening. To put it lightly, I'm not impressed  :|

Edited to add absolutely no other symptoms/situations to suggest a stomach bug or anything else I might've picked up.

@tasha_ak I’m sorry!! Both @adirat and myself have had it pretty consistently throughout or pregnancies. We can definitely empathize with you. I hope you feel better soon. Wouldn’t wish the nausea and vomiting on anyone.

@klj0228 I've been sick too... Since about week 10. @tasha_ak unfortunately, I wasn't able to take the Unisom/b6 combo for long due to a bad reaction. I hope you have better luck with it.

@smsaulino yes, slipped my mind. You had a great early first trimester and the darn sickness hit you late and has stuck around! You were a rockstar and even finished your school semester while sick.

MY lips are soooo chapped. And my skin is so dry and itchy. No amount of water or lotion/oil is helping. This weather blows.

@Redpuma119  I am sorry you are dealing with dry and itchy skin.  I battle eczema, which I realize isn't the same thing, but I have found two things that really help my chapped lips.  One is a product called Bag Balm, it is in a green tin and is the best thing I have every used.  Aquaphor isn't bad either, but Bag Balm is fantastic.

@lisac113 Have you tried CeraVe? It's an OTC lotion for eczema. I have basically gone off all my meds and really helps when I get a case of the itches!

@sarah-ruby-21 I have not.  Thanks for the rec.  Mine is the worst in the winter and primarily affects my lips and scalp, so they are hard areas to treat.

I can't wake up today. Got my usual sleep last night, have tried a cup of coffee (10oz). Now I'm googling how much caffeine was in that cup to figure out if I can have two. Also, I've been frequently throwing up when burping lately, and I had heartburn from scrambled eggs last night.

My hips are so sore. Went to the chiropractor this morn and didn't seem to do much except now my lower back hurts. Maybe tomorrow it will feel better.
  • Options
Does anyone have or had Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction? I've just diagnosed myself. Ha.
After the chiropractor yesterday, my hips do feel better but my groin is what still what hurts. It feels more muscular than anything so I googled it and I feel like I have SPD. I'll bring it up specifically with my OB when I make another appt. I did tell her on Tuesday but all she said was try the chiropractor and a belly band. Well the chiropractor won't be able to help that and I don't want to buy a belly band if that won't solve the issue.

@mrsman2018 I do, have had it with both pregnancies. It's miserable AF but mine cleared up almost immediately after birth. Check out the tailbone/sciatica/pelvic floor thread. There's quite a bit of discussion in there about groin region/hip pain!
