I dreamt that I was talking to a chubby squirrel. It was so bizarre! With DD, I dreamt that there were two geckos chasing each other at my house. They had pink stripes. Idk why I dream of so many animals...but it’s only the beginning I suppose. There was this one dream when DH and I went down the elevator to get to a parking garage yet as soon as the doors opened, there was a huge tiger in a cage roaring at us. 

I’d take this chubby squirrel over that tiger dream. It was so scary, lol. This squirrel was just chillin’ and chewin’ away.

With my first pregnancy I dreamed about sex or killing zombies (walking dead style). Those were the only two themes. Luckily they did not occur in the same dream.

I dreamed about sex with my H, every boyfriend I ever had (regardless of whether i ever slept with them), and random coworkers. So.many.sex.dreams.

Had a really vivid dream a couple nights ago about my first boyfriend. Haven't thought of him in ages. It was like I had never been married and had no kids. Really weird.

I had a dream two nights ago that I had diarrhea. I was in an out house in broad daylight. Normally I wouldn't share this, but I'm also dealing with some gas and constipation, and after a whole day worrying and waiting for my labwork, in hindsight, I think my dream was telling me to not worry about the baby!  fingers crossed!!

So technically I didn't have the dream, but Monday morning my 4 year old woke up and said "mommy, I had a dream last night." So of course I am getting ready for a strange dream that she usually tells me about, but this time it was not so strange. She said "mommy, I dreamed I had a baby brother and we named him baby Tommy." I looked over at my husband and back at my daughter and was a bit loss for words. I finally said "thats really sweet Emma, maybe one day you will have a baby brother." We haven't told her I am pregnant yet as I want to wait a little longer to make sure everything is ok.

@texasmommie I have heard that kids are super good at detecting pregnancies before they are even told and that they are often correct aboutthe sex of the baby. Last week my 3.5 y/o DD asked me if I had a baby in my stomach. I asked her why she asked me that, and she said, "I saw baby and baby had wet hair". I sat there like, "uhhhh". So bizzare.

this is so strange! My SIL texted me the other day and said my nephew told her that I have a baby boy in my belly. WHAT? If that’s true, I am going to be freaked out. Why/how do kids know these things?!

@amongthewildflowers wow! I would have been a bit speechless too. But,I have also heard the same thing... never knowing how true it was. Lately she has been overly clingy, and always wants to sit on my lap. This is way different then Miss Independent that she normally is. So, I was curious to know if they have some super radar lol. I thought her dream was so sweet, and I hope our little peanut sticks until January. She is going to be such a great big sister.

I had a dream that I had a pet grizzly bear that slept in a giant pen in my basement and I would let him out into the backyard during the day LOL 

I also keep having dreams where I’m going to the bathroom. I wake up and freak out thinking I might’ve peed myself. Thankfully I was only peeing in my dream but I always have to get up to pee when I wake up. So strange!!

@featherchicki I have recurring bathroom dreams. I'm always in a public place/ super disgusting bathroom with stage fright and no matter how much I try I can't go. I always wake up having to pee and so thankful I've never had an accident

I dreamt last night about a crazy apocalyptic flood! Like disaster movie style with random tsunamis everywhere, families being torn apart, crazy stuff! It was so vivid I was kinda out of it for a couple hours.

Last week I dreamed about being in a group of anarchists who destroyed a rich mansion at a stuffy, uppity party with celebrities. We spray painted and took baseball bats to walls, etc. so who knows what that means!

And lots of sex dreams as well- interestingly, all with my hubbie (for once)! LOL

I had a dream that I gave birth to a puppy. I was so disgusted but also distraught because I knew it needed to eat but I refused to breastfeed it. It turned into a mission to get the puppy a bottle.

Last night I dreamed my DH was on snap chat and I was so worried he was talking to other women.  (He doesn’t even use Snapchat) 
We wound up getting in a huge argument and he left me! So random and bizarre.

Last night I dreamt that I had lice and I was working on getting them out. Needless to say, I've been checking my hair all morning long.

I've definitely been having a lot of dreams where I'm running late to work. It stresses me out, man.

I had a dream last night that we had a baby boy but everyone kept dressing him our daughters old dresses and it was pissing me off.. it was a strange dream. I think it’s because SO has been talking about how he wants another little girl.

I think giving birth to animal pregnancy dreams are pretty common if that helps any lol I’ve never had one but I’ve heard a lot of people do!

I dreamed that my appointment for first ultrasound was so far away, I delivered before I got to it. I woke up in a  cold sweat. It was a boy though. LOL

Haha I've heard that's a pretty common thing! Especially if you have a dog. Lots of people dream about birthing cats too. I think it's because they're snuggly and about the same size as a baby.

I had a dream last night that I had the baby. It was a newborn except really it was like a 4 month old in terms of looks and behavior. She didn’t have a name (it was a girl) because H and I ‘forgot’ to pick one. So we just kept telling people ‘oh this is normal when it’s your second’. Then I wanted to put a picture of her on social media so I made up a name and told people she was ‘Haylee Grace’. But then I remembered I had a cousin with a name similar to that and also that it wasn’t going to be her actual name so I probably shouldn’t lie to everyone about it. Then I woke up. 

Not even close to the strangest but it was the most recent. I feel like they were most vivid within a couple weeks of my BFP.

Last night I had a super detailed dream that we were selling our house, and for some reason DH accepted a crazy lowball offer that would have lost us a ton of money.  I was so angry with him in the dream and everyone kept telling me to calm down, which had the exact opposite effect. 

I woke up and was still annoyed with DH for a minute, before I realized 1) we aren't selling our house, 2) DH would never accept an offer without me, nor could he legally anyway since I own the house too.  

I see enough contracts at work when I'm awake, I don't need to dream in that much detail about real estate sales contracts lol

@AshVA I love the dreams where you wake up annoyed/mad at your spouse for fictional reasons. It’s such a weird phenomenon. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve woken up to DH telling me “you’re in trouble” for what dream me did.

I finally had a dream! Not a good one unfortunately. I kept dreaming I was at various social events where I didn’t want people to know I was pregnant so was holding alcohol with the plan of not drinking it....and then accidentally drank all of it when I got lost in conversation. Dream me is very irresponsible.

I work as a medical scribe, so my job is basically following a physician into all of his encounters with patients and documenting the visit. Last night I dreamed that I went into our procedure room where a patient was having something drained. I was writing the note when I look over and see his wife placing their baby on the procedure table to change the baby's diaper, and the baby is covered in poop. I had to explain to the women that she couldn't change her baby's diaper on the procedure table. So I take her out of the room and show her to the changing table in the bathroom. When we get there, she just gives me this dirty look and says "I don't have the diaper bag." So I had to go back and get it for her. Then I got lost on the way back to the bathroom and found myself in a man's locker room. Definitely the strangest dream I've had so far.

I had a dream that my house was on fire. It seemed so real. I even woke DH up telling him we needed to get out of the house. I took a few minutes to realize I was dreaming. I had this dream a couple time when I was pregnant and post partum with my DS. I've been stressed/just generally anxious for my next appointment so I'm putting the blame on that.

I had a dream I was breastfeeding and the kid was going so hard at my nipples that they turned into long stringy things, like the thickness of spaghetti.  So weird! I sure hope that doesn't happen!

I'm also having pee dreams. A couple times I was sure I went in the bed but alas did not. Other than that, all the sex dreams.

OMG the sex dreams! I actually woke up in the middle of an orgasm the other night. That has never ever happened to me before! 

@cait32 Same here about not actually wanting to have real sex haha. I haven't told him about the dreams because he would probably think I was trying to hint at wanting more sex.

I keep dreaming about vegans finding me in the grocery store or while eating lunch and telling me how disappointed they are in my food choices during pregnancy.

Tonight I dreamed that this old guy with a beard saw me buy non vegan bread and came to my house to have an intervention. I always wake up feeling so freaking sad and guilty!

I had a dream I lost the big solitaire diamond in my Ering and a diamond stone out of my wedding band.  I looked everywhere for it and was so scared to tell my H. I ended up telling him and was only mildly upset because he had taken out an insurance policy on it. He told me to go get ready for the Halloween party.  I was dressed as little red riding hood and felt so stupid wearing my rings with half the diamonds missing.  

It was bizarre.  I did wake up scared that it had actually happened.

@eleven_ That happened to me MULTIPLE times with DD and with *TW* my loss before DD *end TW*. It was so strange. It hasn't happened yet this pregnancy though and I think it's because we're not abstaining.

I had a super detailed dream about my first ultrasound. We went in and the tech told us that it was triplets. He then went on to say that when I ovulated, two eggs were released. One of the eggs split so two of the triplets are going to be identical. 

I woke in a panic, haha

I was just in the appointment thread and thought that was real until I got to the woke up part and remembered I switched threads!

@cait32 SO MANY SEX DREAMS... And no actual sex drive haha, the worst.

I had a dream that I went to Les Schwab as a secret hook up spot to cheat on my SO... And not only was I cheating, but my dream lover had a girl dog so I took our husky and he had a rendezvous with this guy's dog while we were cheating.... Then in the middle of the dream I was like "WAIT, I'm pregnant, this is a horrible idea." Then I woke up and immediately told SO about it because I feel so guilty dream cheating I'm so weird.

What the heck? I want sex dreams! I literally dreamed about a broken furnace last night, no joke. DH was snoring crazy loudly, but in a weird way that cut off partway through each snore. Dreaming brain took that awful noise and turned it into a furnace that wouldn't quite start up, so it kept sounding like it might, but then it would cut off. Seriously wanted to suffocate him when I woke up.
