TTC after mirena removal

Hello all!
I was active in the board when I was TTC #1 and #2 and now we've decided to try for #3.  I had my Mirena removed last week and I was wondering about other people experiences conceiving after IUD removal.  I'm definitely feeling my system is trying to regulate but I'm really curious about that first period after removal.  Any other experiences would be great to hear about!  I look forward to participating more once I can identify what my cycle is again (haven't had a period in like 4 years).

A quick response to your question, though. As this is a Trying to Get Pregnant board, most of us don't have an answer for the general effect on successfully conceiving, having not conceived yet. But for a first period, I had what I think was a period (very light and short) a few days after removal, and then had a fairly regular cycle with the next coming around 31 days. It was also lighter and shorter than I remembered. But after that it seems that things have regulated fairly quickly.
