There was some interest in a weekly meal planning thread on the weekly random thread so I figured lets get it started!
Monday - Cookout (CheeseBurgers and chips) Tuesday - Homemade Breakfast Pizza (eggs, sausage, and buttery cheese sauce) Wednesday - Grilled pork chops with corn on the cob and grilled potato packs Thursday - Grilled chicken salads Friday - Something super unhealthy from the carnival since that is where we will be all night
Lets hear your weekly plans so I can get new ideas for next week
I am so excited for this thread-- told my husband yesterday that meal planning is so hard for me with this fatigue! All I have so far is: Monday- Greek orzo salad with chicken Tuesday- Burgers Wednesday- Fontina and Prosciutto stuffed chicken.
No idea after that, and no idea how I will get healthy food in when everything with protein/veggies sounds terrible!
Monday - beef empanadas, baked sweet potato fries, and zucchini with Greek yogurt sauce Tuesday - baked Greek chicken with Orzo and salad Wednesday - "Philly cheese steak" open faced sandwiches Thursday - tri color rotini with a Pablano /jalapeño cream sauce Friday - out to eat to celebrate last day of school
Eta: I'm great at planning... I'm awful at actually sticking to my plan though! Monday dinner done at least.
@bswishe4 What are grilled potato packs? And do you have a recipe for your breakfast pizzas? They sound so yummy. @middleschoolmommy Are the beef empanadas homemade?

Yes, but I cheated because it's a recipe from one of those delivery services. My mom bought me a month's worth of 3 dinner a week boxes.
I have nothing to add because I am still so unmotivated to cook. Hopefully I will get motivated by y’all though. Thank you for being inspiring. I just can’t seem to get out of this rut. And the activities in the evening for sports aren’t making it any easier.
@middleschoolmommy do you pan fry the meat for your open faced sandwiches or grill it? Thinking I may be able to pull this off because it sounds really yummy. Meat and cheese on bread, yes please.
Monday: chipotle tuesday: Frosted Flakes cereal wednesday: probably Chipotle again thursday: Burger King friday: TGI Fridays saturday: Chinese food sunday: Mac and cheese and hot dogs or whatever hubby decides to make.
ETA: y'all who have the energy to cook are amazing. I can't remember the last time I cooked due to this pregnancy. Its either been take out or food hubby cooks. still too tired and too many aversions.
ETA 2: im not REALLY eating this poorly. I just put what sounds good
Omg... How are you guys tolerating food??? I feel like I'm dying over here. If not for nausea/food aversions I'm getting terrible heartburn/acid reflux which then turns into vomiting/nausea so jealous

@lurvleybunchococonuts I hope your aversions go away soon! They're seriously the worst. Does anything help with your heartburn? I ate Tums like candy near the end of my pregnancy with DD and it helped a lot.
@lurvleybunchococonuts definitely Zantac. I get heartburn from water it’s ridiculous. I had a hard time eating until the last couple of weeks. My meds definitely helped me get my appetite back. Hopefully you get some relief soon!
Thanks for the suggestion guys! I will definitely look into zantac. This is ridiculous!

This post is perfect!! I'm such a foodie but haven't been able to cook in about 10 weeks, no energy and everything makes me so sick. The MS is finally slowing down so I'm taking all these ideas and hoping I'll be able to contribute in the upcoming weeks. I love getting new recipes from others!!
@lostarz14 Now I just really want baked beans and hot dogs.
Our week:
Sunday: Mother's Day cookout with giant salad bar Monday: Loaded guac. vegetarian tacos Tuesday: Spaghetti and garlic bread
Wednesday: Ham and roasted cauliflower Thursday: Brats with sauerkraut and a random side
Friday: Order Pizza Saturday: I'll be at a cookout. They're smoking some birds, pork tenderloin, and ribs. We're all responsible for a side. One of my girl friends has requested homemade mac and cheese. YUM!
@pink_polkadots Yep. 1000% I'm pretty blown away by everyone making real meals right now.
Monday: Threw a Stouffers family meal in the oven and called it good Tuesday: DH made grilled chicken w/ rice and veggies Wednesday: Ugh, that's tonight. Maybe DH will cook again. Thursday: See above Friday: Going to my aunt's for dinner
@offtoneverland Sorry it took me forever to respond last week was CRAZY! Grilled potatoe packs:
- Take a square of aluminum foil and put pealed and cut potatoes on it with butter or olive oil. - Add whatever seasoning you like (Cajun seasoning, garlic, salt, pepper I change it up based on my mood) - Sometimes I add onions or peppers as well. - close the foilf pack by folding the sides over or placing another piece of foil on top and folding the edges - put it right on the grill while you cook everything else - They take about 20 min depending on how big you cut the potatoes and how crispy you like them - It is basically fried potatoes but with nothing to clean up when your done. just open the foil and put the potatoes on a plate
