I feel like we haven't had a general gtky in a while. since we all don't participate on the same threads, it would be a chance to introduce ourselves again to each other.

How many months have you been TTC?
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
This is such a good idea! I've been mia for a couple of weeks and I feel like there's been so many new people. It's hard to keep track of everyone.
Ages (you and SO): I am 28 for one more day... DH is 28 also.
How many months have you been TTC? We started trying a little over a year ago during a trip to London and Ireland. I really wanted DH to experience a trip to Europe before we had a LO to worry about.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? We have been sticking to the EOD thing. DH has some issues doing it every day so to eliminate the drama/stress we've come to a mutual agreement with EOD. DH had his SA done in January which came back normal. His morphology came back at only 5% normal but that's still considered normal. I've only had a few blood tests done but I'm meeting with my OB tomorrow to hopefully get an HSG this cycle or next. Not sure yet if we'll get more testing done with her or move on to an RE right away. I'm finally starting to get excited again. I've had a rough couple of months.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids but we do have two dogs and a bird (black lab mix, catahoula leopard mix, and green cheek conure). I work for a University doing research in nanotechnology fabrication and DH works for 3M. I also just started a part time job as a server at perkins but I don't think that will last very long lol. DH and I love to be outside, biking, camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking... We live in MN so most of our favorite activities are restricted to the summer months. I also have an indescribable passion for traveling! I would go broke travelling the world if it weren't for MH having some restraint.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have one daughter who is almost 2 and 1 pit bull mix. I’m an engineer and in my (limited) free time I like to camp and hang out outside. I also like to knit and read.
DD1: June '16 DD2: March ‘19 :::: Married since 2011 :::: USN Wife ::::
How many months have you been TTC? June will be a year, although we were benched a few months along the way.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I am in the process of doing some testing. I go for an MRI on Tuesday as they found some "abnormalities" on my US report. Possibly related, possibly not, but hopefully we will get some answers to move forward. Also on an RE wait list (July if we are lucky. Oh Canada!!). DH had his SA, morph at 3%, otherwise all else is normal. Finally got him to agree to taking supplements as well. So given those hurdles, just trying to go with the flow, hit the fertile window and take the supplements.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): One big slobbery 95lbs chocolate lab, 2 cats that are opposite of the personality spectrum, DSS who is 9yo and with us 50% of the time. I teach bodypump at the gym and avid gym goer. Day job is with a TV media production company. DH is Navy. We do a lot of hiking and camping in the summer. Camp fire smell is the best. Snowboarding in the winter if we can. Travel whenever we can. DIY projects keep us pretty busy too. I really enjoy being creative, DH just has to come along for the ride lol.
How many months have you been TTC? 18 months. So many months.
What are you doing to get knocked up?: Thanks to severe MFI, IVF is our only option now.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I work at a public library dividing my time between cataloging/acquisitions and covering the reference desk. I really love it! DH works in QA at a local video game studio. We have a 16 year old orange and white Maine Coon cat. I love to read, especially historical fiction, and also dabble in playing various musical instruments, though none to the degree that I would actually subject others to my playing. We like to get outdoors when we can for hikes and also love supporting local music and theater.
How many months have you been TTC? *TW Loss*We have been trying for 11 cycles and have had two early losses along the way.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Temping, OPKs, CM, Prenatals, CoQ10, and Baby Aspirin. I started seeing an RE a couple months ago and have been going through RPL testing. So far everything is normal. Our RE wants me to go on Femara soon to help lengthen out my cycles and to hopefully make me ovulate later.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have two kids (ages 3 & 4) and two Australian Shepherds. I am a program manager at a medical company. My hobbies are reading, hiking, snowboarding, and hanging out with my chickens while drinking Moscow Mules.

TW - previous pregnancy and CP noted below. Ages (you and SO): 30/31. Turning 31/32 this summer.
How many months have you been TTC? We're in the first cycle TFAS (AF expected next week Thursday or Friday). BUT I don't want you guys to think I have stars in my eyes about getting KTFU just because this is my first cycle. **TW Previous pregnancy and CP** When I got KU with my daughter, I had a CP during the 4th cycle, and got KU with her on the 6th cycle. I was doing all the things that cycle: acupuncture, EPO before O, pomegranate juice (I can't remember why), baby aspirin around implantation, probably more things that I can't remember. We'll see how long it takes me before I resort to all the things again. I'm trying to be positive this time around and relax a bit more, but I really have no chill.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Currently just charting CM, BBT, and HIO. I'm lucky that I can just tell DH when we need to HIO and he is pretty much always compliant.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have one daughter who is 1.5 and two dogs. I work for an insurance broker, and currently don't have any hobbies besides binging on Netflix when I have spare time. My kid only takes one nap for approximately one hour, which gives me just enough time to make and eat my lunch and do our dishes. She goes to bed at 6:30/7, we eat dinner after she's in bed, and after that I am beat. Maybe I'll have hobbies again some day when I'm not so tired. I was teaching myself to sew and knit before DD was born, and I also used to draw and read non-baby/non-parenting related books. I haven't read a non-baby/parenting related book in a very long time.
How many months have you been TTC? Since August 2017 TW** with a loss in Feb
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BBT/Charting, OPK, and BDing
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I work full time as the assistant office manager at the town Ford dealership. I tried my hand at beekeeping last summer but was riddled with problems (beyond my control and several attempts at fixing failed). I'm taking this year off as we are planning an addition on the house and the construction will be too close to my hive yard. We have been raising our 9yo neice for 7 years and are currently entwined in a adoption/custody battle with her mom. We also had an almost 3yo DS. Pets include a crazy but tolerant mutt, 2 cats and nieces guinea pig.
How many months have you been TTC? TW....we have been trying since Feb of last year, I found out I was pregnant in July, then miscarried shortly after, to find out I had a malignant molar pregnancy, so I was benched for about 8 months due to chemo.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Right now, just sex. Last year, I was not menstrating, so I had to use clomid, but due to my health issues, I was on BCP , which seems to have helped regualtr my cycles again, although, they are really short. If I am not pregnant by summer, my OBgyn wants me to get testing done again.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.). I have two kids, DD is 7 and dS is 5. Both are on the autism spectrum, which can be wonderful and complicated at the same time, but I wouldn't change it. We sold our houses a while back, and have had no luck finding a new place in our school zone, and have been staying with my parents. While they have been amazint about it (and it helps me out with household duties, etc). I can't wait to find our own place again. We have a rabbit, an older female beagle, and 2.5 cats (pretty sure we are stealing one of my parents, lol) they have a GSD, we have ducks and chickens too. We just took in 4 5 week old foster kittens too, but unfortunately, they won't all be able to stay. I don't really have many hobbies, I have been trying harder to find some. I do love to garden and read. I love historical fiction and fantasy.
Good idea @holly321 I’ve been MIA for the last month or so due to work and there are so many new people!
Ages (you and SO): 34 and 39
How many months have you been TTC? technically 11 months but have been benched since February **TW ectopic pregnancy with tube removal in late February end TW** so actively 7 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? counting down the cycles until I’m off the bench in August, or as my H says “just practicing our skills so we don’t forget” lol
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I’m an accountant for a corporation in the Midwest. We have a DD who is 2 who keeps us very busy. We love the outdoors and spend a lot of our time camping, riding ATVs, swimming, boating, etc. I also love cycling and running and I’m using this bench time to get back into shape and lose some weight. In the winter I love cooking, crafting, reading, and bingeing shows on Netflix.
Hi ladies! Wanted to definitely jump in here since I stick with just the IF thread anymore.
Ages (you and SO): 33/36 (did you ever write your ages and wonder how the F did that happen??!)
How many months have you been TTC? Ugh like 20
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Waiting to do our FET. We're in our 3rd ERA cycle waiting for another biopsy to make sure the timing is right since we only got one embryo out of the process. My Dr didn't want to "waste" it so we started with ERAs right off the bat which I guess we're lucky he did because the past two cycles wouldn't have worked if we did transfer. This time we're following my natural cycle and I'm hoping this biopsy will show that we can transfer next month!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Well I'm in finance and the hubs is in law enforcement. We started dating when I was 17-I broke up with my boyfriend for him so I guess it was the right decision. We have a son who's just over 3 years old now and it's totally cliche but that kid is my world. We're just a low key boring couple. I love to cook and curse like a trucker, I want to find a hobby and I want to like to drink so I can enjoy a glass of wine each night but neither of those have happened yet. He loves scotch and cigars.
Ages (you and SO): 31; 38(@50Wife Yes! I keep wondering how the F that happened.)
How many months have you been TTC? This is our first month actively trying, but we've been waiting for almost a year to be given the go ahead. We had been benched for a while due to my electroshock treatments after meeting with with a perinatal psychiatrist last year.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BBT, CM, OPK, charting
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a 9-year-old Westie who keeps us entertained. I'm finishing up my English degree and love to read and write; my goal is to work as an editor professionally. I've done some freelance work here and there. DH and I live by the beach, so I also have fun looking like an idiot while boogie boarding and body surfing.
How many months have you been TTC? This is our second cycle trying. TW (pregnancy and loss) I had a CP last cycle. TW
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, BBT, CM, OPK, HIO
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids yet for us. My little spoiled pup is the apple of my eye. We both work in law enforcement. We are definitely homebodies, but we like reading, cooking, and walking the dog on the beach. I’ve run a couple half marathons, but I wouldn’t call myself a runner. We live in California, so the traffic dictates where we go and when.
How many months have you been TTC? Long enough to be IF (dual factor) yet not long enough to feel like my IF is real. Long enough to feel like I don’t fit in the daily threads much, yet not long enough to feel like my IF should be “that upsetting.” ::sarcasm alert:: Because, you know, we are always told, “Someone has it worse. So just relax.”
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Green tea, ubiqunol, RRL tea, DHEA & asprin (under doctor’s supervision), PNV, CM, CP, BBT, low-inflammation diet, cycling for injectable IUI#3 currently. We recently switched REs. I’m so excited to hear the “reading-material” report from the collection room at new office. I can hardly wait. ::sarcasm alert::
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) One loss. One cat. One dog. I work in healthcare, 45-60 minutes away from where we live. I enjoy long sessions of snuggling with my cat, dressing her in clothes, and taking pictures of her sleeping. My goals in life are to make it through this cycle without going to bed angry at MH for something such as him intaking too much soy, or liking ugly throw pillows (it was a heated few moments in Kohl’s today!). If I had time, I’d love to remember to water my garden (already killed 4 strawberry plants & a tomato plant). I’d also sew more frequently, including embroidery, and learn to cross stitch (shout out to @lurvleybunchococonuts !).
Ages (you and SO): I’m 31 (32 in just over a week ), DH is 33
How many months have you been TTC? Fifth month trying, *TW* we had a CP back in March. *TW*
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, CM, charting and BD
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a 3 year old boy who keeps us in our toes. Also have a wonderfully tolerant lab-pit mix, and kitty (down to one as our second kitty love went missing over 2 weeks ago). I work in marketing for a healthcare technology co, DH works for a big insurance co. We’re all homebodies (in fact, DH works from home primarily, as do I, 3 days a week) and enjoy gardening - although we’re not great at it... I also love to read, and jog regularly.
Ages (you and SO): Both of us are 37, though MH will turn 38 soon.
How many months have you been TTC? 15, with a couple of benched months in there. Because I'm AMA we've been doing IF testing/treatment since October. I occasionally decide I can handle posting in the dailies, but that usually lasts less than a day. The IF thread is definitely my home on here.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Currently trying on our own this month (pnv, bbt, opk, ubiquinol, acupuncture, Chinese herbs), but planning for IUI #4 next month (new protocol: clomid instead of letrozole and double the dose of ovidrel trigger). We're also starting to think seriously about IVF.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm a college professor and MH teaches middle school and high school. No kids yet, but two adorable and crazy kitties. MH is an artist, though he hasn't had a lot of free time for art this last year. We both love to read and I'm looking forward to getting my garden started soon. I also crochet and love to cook.
How many months have you been TTC? This will be month one after our recent loss at 32 weeks.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Acupuncture, BBT, PCOS diet, some supplements
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have a son who will be 4 on Wednesday and an angel daughter who we lost at 32 weeks (8 weeks ago) due to a chromosome issue. I am an accountant and do bookkeeping and taxes, so we just got out of our super busy season.
How many months have you been TTC? We are on 6ish months now.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Lots of sex, herbs and teas, supplements. Thinking of asking doc for colmid or something similar soon.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have a 5 year old son who's just as big a nerd as me and DH. We also have three kitties who love to chase each other around at 4am. I teach, and am currently buried under a pile of essays that I don't think I will ever finish. As for hobbies, I read a lot. I also love to garden.
How many months have you been TTC? 21 cycles now, like @darkstar42 I sometimes venture out into the dailies, but then it gets difficult. So I spend most of my time on the IF thread
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Science- right now waiting on IUI #3
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) we both work in healthcare, we have 2 dogs that were both rescues. They're awesome. Hobbies: We love to travel and have 3 trips planned in the next few months. We both enjoy reading. I learned how to knit last year, so I'm continuing to learn. I like yoga. This year I'm working on learning another language.
TTC#1 10/2016 TTC/IF:included medicated cycles, IUIs and 2 rounds of IVF with 1 embryo each. BFP finally in 12/2018
TTC#2 06/2021 planning FET
"Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks, some doors are open, some roads are blocked"
Ages (you and SO): 29 will be 3 in September and DH is 32
How many months have you been TTC? 3 months
TW loss. Had a MC in February. So 3 months post loss. TW End
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BBT, OPK
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have a daughter who will be 3 in September and we have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I am an Insurance Sales Advisor and I sell personal insurance (Health, Life, Travel etc.). As for hobbies I love anything outdoors, we love camping and hiking. I love music and love going to see any live music. I also started learning how to play the ukulele. I can play piano and have played other instruments over the years but it's been over 10 years since I took on learning something new.
How many months have you been TTC: We've done 3 IUI cycles so far (2 for her, 1 for me). She has very low AMH and is no longer a candidate for the treatments we've been pursuing. I have PCOS.
What are you doing to get knocked up: Nothing right now. Saving our pennies for IVF. We should have enough money for it by August or September.
Tell us about yourself: I work in higher education - I love college students. My wife is in higher ed, too. It's nice being in the same field as your spouse so you can complain about things and know they'll understand. I have a son and a trio of septuagenarian pets (as indicated by their actual age relative to species lifespan). I'm occupying my time by making hilarious pillows to sell on my Etsy store. Currently in the works is a rather hilarious Donald Trump tapestry and I found the perfect fabric to go with it. I am so excited about it. And it feels really, really, REALLY good to stitch my liberal feminist queer rage into every little square. It'll burn the hands of any white nationalist who dares to touch it.
Ages (you and SO): 39 and 41 (oh gosh are we the oldest??? How the hell did that happen???????)
How many months have you been TTC? 38 or in other words more than 3 years
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Main thing is IVF - we had 3 failed cycles (2 transfers) and are now waiting to do three back to back banking cycles to try to get some embryos for PGS testing. Because I have DOR we only get a few follicles each time, so it will take us a while to get enough and hope to have a normies or two in there. However I also have some autoimmune and mild clotting issues so even if we get normies then transfers will not be a walk in the park.
In addition I take Vitamin D3 (unless you live in a Florida or So Cal probably recommended!), Ubiquinol, Zinc, Selenium, Vitamin B complex, pomegranate juice during FP, an immune supportive supplement, Iron, PNV, DHEA. Plus my RA medication (which will be swapped out for steroids for transfers). And progesterone and baby aspirin during LP. Though baby aspirin will be swapped for a stronger clotting drug for next transfer.
Feel free to ask anything. I’ve tried lots more along the way!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids, one pony living with my parents (used to have more and one horse in Beijing - I lived there for three years and still part own him). I’m CFO for a business in a big multinational. DH is a consultant for project management and business improvements. Our main hobby since buying our house 21 months ago is home improvement - we always have a project on the go. This year is supposed to be the garden which is a mega project. Otherwise I like to ride (but on a self enforced break whilst undergoing treatment) and read and tend my rose bushes, bbq with friends and travel. Though the last 19 months I was doing an EMBA which sucked up so much of my time (I still worked full time too). So I’m looking forward to find a new hobby or two.

*TW Loss* We have been trying for 11 cycles and have had two early losses along the way.

BFP #1 12/30/15 - CP
BFP #2 3/11/16 - DD born 11/16
TFAS since April 2018
Ages (you and SO): I’m 33, he’s 30
Here are my girls
TTC#1 10/2016
TTC/IF:included medicated cycles, IUIs and 2 rounds of IVF with 1 embryo each.
BFP finally in 12/2018
TTC#2 06/2021
planning FET
"Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks,
some doors are open, some roads are blocked"
How many months have you been TTC? 3 months
