I'm thankful to get some time with DH tonight. Spring is our crazy busy time bc DH works a few seasonal jobs in addition to his day job (related to his hobby, so it's not all terrible) but I'm functioning like a single parent most of the time and I miss him so much!
I’m grateful that the ghost rings are on my right hand now, not my left hand.
I’m really afraid of my hands suddenly swelling up because of something that happened to one of my teachers when I was a kid, so I stopped wearing my rings shortly after I found out I was pregnant.
For even more back story- I was married for 10yrs, during which I wore my rings daily, one of which I literally never removed. When I got divorced, I stopped wearing the ones on my left ring finger, and primarily wear them on my right hand now. However, when I get stressed, I feel those rings still on my left hand- which makes me more stressed.
Today, the ghost rings were on my right hand. I can totally deal with them on my right hand.
1. I feel amazing! 2. I got my car back today after almost 3 weeks in the shop!! 3. I’m cleaning like a crazy woman (out of town family coming for a few days) and my house is now almost spotless. It feels so good to finally be caught up again!
Thankful for the front desk lady at the new hotel I checked into!! I was originally checked in for a few days then back to the other hotel but she gave me a discount for being an outage worker and it's like $22 cheaper a night!!! Bless this woman my other reservation has been cancelled at no charge!!
