**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. R/R: Nothing much going on this weekend. Feeling lazy today. I may start a cross sticking project. H and I put together a craft area in our bedroom, so it's a nice place to start some projects! I need to do something that doesn't involve technology. I find myself watching youtube videos too much of my day.

CS/Q: Got a positive OPK this morning! Yay!

GTKY: If you were a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do? Oh my. This is a good question! Probably learn how the new "appendage" works (I mean, obviously!), and definitely go without a shirt all day since it's something men can do in public (outside) but woman can't. Haha!

R/R: It's gonna be super hot today so I won't get to be outside. Sigh. Ultrasound went well this morning. I took my mom and husband lol that made for a super interesting appointment. We have three mature follicles and one that might catch up but I sure hope not. My lining was also great at 11mm. Trigger tonight at 8pm. I'm so glad I didn't have a surge on my own yet. My mama and I did some gardening together yesterday after meeting a friend for lunch. It was a really fun day. We got and planted orange tiger lilies beneath my Dad's memorial tree in the backyard because those were his favorite. We pulled weeds in the front yard garden beds and planned out a new layout to plant new flowers. She has an exceptional green thumb so it was cool to learn a few tricks.

CS/Q: My temps are ridiculous. Another morning waking up an hour before my alarm. I already adjusted my alarm 3 times this cycle to try to get some consistency but nope. Asshole.

GTKY: If you were a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do? @whitmore1027 I'm totally with you on going outside without a shirt on! I wish that was legal for women. And yussss to figuring out the appendage. I would write my name in snow :D

R/R: We are finally home today!!! Yay! It feels so good to be back after five days on the road. I've pretty much spent the day laying around watching TV, doing laundry and washing dishes.

CS/Q: I haven't done any temping the last five days because I knew that my temps would be super screwed up from all the traveling, 4-6 hours of sleep every night and waking up at random times. I might regret it later but it just didn't seem worth it this month. I'm going to start again tomorrow though.

GTKY: If you were a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do?
That's a tough one. This is going to sound wierd, but I'd probably pee standing up. After that road trip and squating over so many toilets, all I want is a chance to pee standing up.

  • @suzycupcake Haha! I didn't think about writing name in the snow. That's a good one!! The gardening for your dads memorial tree sounds so sweet! Glad your U/S went well!
@babydream0916 Glad you finally made it home! And yes to the peeing standing up. That would be so cool!

R/R:  Watching Pitch Perfect 3, love these movies.

    CS/Q: nothing to see yet

GTKY: If you were a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do?  Get ready for the day in 5 minutes.  I'm always jealous that DH doesn't have to shave every day (not that I HAVE to, but I prefer it), no makeup, minimal to no hair styling, no thought into his clothes, etc.  I may also go to the gym to see how much I can lift.  Haha
  • @quidditchcapn1120 Haha, my husband spends more time grooming than me! He takes really good care of his beard and his hair. I can finish my makeup before he is done. lol! And I totally thought about the gym too!

R/R: Was a nice day here so got some yard work done. Did some shopping. Then had dinner with MIL for DHs birthday. It was actually a nice time. Rant- Bought a work dress I really liked and tried it on when I got home. Fits perfect on top but too snug on my hips. Super dissapointed. If I size up, it will have too baggy on top.

    CS/Q: Nah. CD 8isnt exciting

GTKY: If you were a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do? Anyone who doesn't immediately check out how the package works is just crazy! Lmao. But peeing standing up is definitely high on the list too.

@whitmore1027 I find myself on social media waaaayyyy too often if we don't keep busy

@suzycupcake I'm glad your enjoying time with your mom! How long is her visit?

    @babydream0916 yey for being home!

@quiddichtcapn1120 what's the verdict on #3? I want need DH to take another trip so I can watch it

  • @prpl11butterfly Both DH and I thought it was pretty good!  I needed a laugh this afternoon.

R/R: rave - it was SO gorgeous outside today. DH and I were going to clean up the yard today but instead went out to the garden center and got new pretty outdoor decorations, and ate outside, and got ice cream, and enjoyed the weather. Tomorrow we'll be spending the cold, rainy day reorganizing the guest room come hell or high water, given I've wanted to do it since February but sprained my ankle then and it's taken forever to fully heal.

CS/Q: Finally got some fertile CM today, woo!

GTKY: If you were a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do?
I would go get all my car stuff taken care of without the car people thinking I don't know anything.
  • @babydream0916 being able to pee standing up would seriously make life so much easier.

@suzycupcake awesome on three follicles, good luck!

@Whitmore1027 what are you planning to cross stitch? I love how cross stitches turn out (and the feel of the stitches if I run my fingers over them, does that sound weird?) but I can never seem to keep my attention on them long enough. I should get back into it, I have several partially-started kits laying around here.
  • @prpl11butterfly Only until tuesday unfortunately. It will have been a week. I wish I could keep her here forever. Being near her brings up so many memories of my Dad. That has been hard because I've been crying a lot, but I think it's really good for both of us.

  • @fantasyflyte Sounds like you had such a nice day yesterday! I have a HUGE beautiful Lion King cross stitch that I want to start on. It's super intimidating though. I am really bad about starting one and not finishing too. haha. I have a pretty cat one I started 2 years ago and haven't finished, but it's so pretty so far!

  • @prpl11butterfly Oh man! I totally know the feels of things being perfect on top and snug on bottom. I don't know if you're more of a pear shape like me, but the struggle is real with clothes sometimes.

  • @fantasyflyte Ah! I've been telling DH how badly I want to get some outdoor decor and furniture, but it's still too cold here for that. I've got some serious envy going on over here. Haha.

@quidditchcapn1120 I'm with you on the getting ready in 5 minutes, but not only do they get ready that fast, they usually also look pretty dang good for not doing anything to themselves. If only feminine beauty was that effortless.
