R/R: Glad it's Friday! Probably getting done a little early today, so that's nice. Had a dream that I was pregnant last night, those are always so shitty to wake up from.
CS/Q: OPK still positive this morning so I'm hoping that means O should be happening sometime today, tonight will be 48 hours from first positive.

R/R: Super glad it’s friday and the snow is melting. Really hoping that was the last of it! Come on Spring!
CS/Q: My Opk looked almost positive yesterday so I’m hoping today is the day. Is it usually the day after the positive Opk that you actually ovulate?
GTKY: It's furbaby Friday, so tell us about your pets, if you have any. Feel free to share a pic!
I have none but I really want a dog. Mh promises when we have a house with a yard we’ll get one. My parents have a dog so when I lived home he was my dog too. But he has cancer and I think they have to put him down soon. We went to see him a few days ago and he looked so sad and tired and in pain. It was awful.
@rosebud332 I'm so sorry about your dog. Sending hugs

R/R: Happy Friday! It feels a bit more like spring today and I swear I see more bare ground and less snow so I’ll take those signs of spring.
CS/Q: I am curious about whether anyone has experience with Mirena and whether you continued to ovulate while it was in or not. The internet, searches and Mirena literature is not clear and the best I’ve come across is that sometimes ovulation may happen.
GTKY: It's furbaby Friday, so tell us about your pets, if you have any. Feel free to share a pic! We have two adopted kitties who can’t stand each other but are so sweet and loving to us, and an adopted mutt who is definitely our biggest baby!

R/R:rant: still no peak OPK. Low today. This is going to be a long cycle. Usually 31 days which feels long already.
Rave: my dr suggested doing phototherapy for my eczema that just won't clear up. Thankful to be trying something different and feeling hopeful for the first time in a while. It's been a long 2 months. It means going in 3 times a week for 3 months which Will suck but if it helps... It'll be worth it.

I have a 6 year old pit bull mix girl.
@Stargazer1lily It sounds like you have a full house. I love it! I really love black and black and white cats. Such a cute picture. I'm ready to be like pitty and be curled up on the couch!
@rosebud332 I'm so ready for spring.. we have snow again in the forecast this weekend. I'm really ready for things to come alive. So sorry to hear about your family dog
@LemonofBluebell Hopefully you'll regulate soon!
@Kath525 I hope the phototherapy helps with your eczema. It's always nice to try something different!
@Stargazer1lily are you thinking of working with an RE? Love your cat pic too!
@rosebud332 for me, I typically get CH in FF the day after my last + opk. It depends on how long your surge is and the only ways to "confirm" O is with temping or U/S
@meladams10 enjoy your weekend
@LemonofBluebell you may want to check out the mirena website, but it is my understanding that Mirena prevents pregnancy by thickening CM to prevent sperm from entering and inhibits sperm from reaching egg as well as thinning lining. So it sounds like it doesn't prevent ovulation. *I am not a doctor.
@Kath525 GL with the phototherapy. I hope it brings some relief.

R/R: My MRI was cancelled this morning. I got there and told them I'm pretty positive I ovulated yesterday. They didn't want to risk it. So I'm scheduled for right during AF next cycle. The scans not critical so I'm ok with it. Although, if I am ku this cycle, I hope I can still deliver naturally without the new scan.
CS/Q: My temp didn't shift this am... has me confused. Based on everything, opk, cm, and O pain, I think I Oed in the evening or late night. I'm wondering if that's not enough time for my temp to shift. Previous cycles my post O temps were in the 97.8 to .9 range. Chart in spoiler.
GTKY: It's furbaby Friday, so tell us about your pets, if you have any. Feel free to share a pic!
2 dogs and one bird.
Luna is maybe 10 months old (not completely sure since she was a stray). Her coloring and shape is of a Catahoula leopard dog but she's about half the normal size, about 25 lbs.
Ellie is a 9 year old black lab mix (not sure with what. Again she was a stray). She's also smaller than typical, 45 lbs.
And then there's Oli who's a 4 years old green cheek conure. He'll probably live for another 20 years.

@coco2787 Your dog is so cute!!! Yay for ovulating. My surge was long this cycle too, about 36 hours. I think it’s typically only supposed to last 12-24 hours??
@stargazer1lily Your kitty is so cute! Happy Friday!
@rosebud332 Are you using internet cheapies?? I was reading yesterday that you usually ovulate 12 hours after the peak of your surge. It’s hard to really know when your peak is. But I know with the cheapies you can see the test line getting darker and darker.
@meladams10 Cute kitty. FX you O soon. I love that your cat plays fetch lol. I’m also happy that they skipped the MRI. I could be wrong and I may have Oed today but I think I would be so worried the entire TWW and pregnancy if that were to happen. Mr Oli definitely has attitude! I wish I could catch him on video when he’s saying certain things but he doesn’t do it on demand. He’s also not very photogenic.
@LemonofBluebell Sorry, no experience with Mirena. I love that the snow is slowly melting and we’re starting to see more of the ground. Spring is coming!!!
@kath525 I’m so glad you have a plan of action for your eczema. What is the phototherapy that you have to do? It is a special wavelength and intensity? Is it concentrated in a beam, like a laser, or is it more like a light box?
@avrilmai I’m so excited for you!!! FX for tomorrow!

aw your pets are adorable @LJMoon6. I don't temp so I'm no help with the chart, but did you take another OPK this morning? I always keep taking them until I get a negative to try and pinpoint O.

R/R: it's Saturday here and I just finished work so sitting on the couch willing myself to do some work. I need to reregister so I have to log all my continuing education this weekend and I am currently procrastinating.
CS/Q: random high temp this morning but I'm sure it will be low again tomorrow
GTKY: It's furbaby Friday, so tell us about your pets, if you have any. Feel free to share a pic! 2 cats both from the spca. Bear is a manx and boss of.the whole neighbourhood while Loki is a homebody.
Embarrassed by the quantity of cat photos on my phone
@Stargazer1lily I dream of a full house like That!
@rosebud332 I usually a temp change about a day after positive opk. So sorry about your family dog.
@meladams10 my boy Loki used to fetch when he was a kitten hard as I try can't get him to do it now.
@LemonofBluebell Mirena may inhibit ovulation in some people but that is generally not how it works as a contraceptive. It's like a progesterone only pill and stops the sperm being able to reach the egg. Hopefully you regulate quickly I know when my sister had hers out it regulated for like the first time in her life.
@Kath525 good luck with your eczema it can be such a process finding what works
@Avrilmai good luck for tomorrow!
@LJMoon6 your dogs are really cute. Hopefully temp goes up tomorrow and it was just a longer surge but I am not very educated about temps if I'm honest.
@coco2787 i have those dreams from time to time. They always make me want to just. go back to sleep.
@rosebud332 sorry to hear your pup. Hugs!
@Avriljune49 FX for you tomorrow!
