Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Sunday 3/11

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

How I feel all of the time.

I'm not sure that I have a favourite meal but sitting at Man O'war Vineyard by the beach outside with a glass of rose and a cheese board is pretty close to perfection.

    Month/Cycle: 2/1

    Cycle Day/DPO: 27/3

    Timing: -4, +1

Typical LP length: ETA 12-13 days

Testing: if AF is late, or I may cave a day or two early. We're leaving on Tuesday for a trip to visit my mom and won't be back until the 21st, right around when AF will show up. I don't want to test while staying in my moms apartment so I don't ruin the trip or risk her seeing anything.

R/R: As mentioned, traveling to visit my mom! She recently moved to Arizona, this is our first time visiting her since she moved. We're in Missouri, so I'm definitely looking forward to warmer weather for a week!!

CS/Q: Not temping this cycle, just tracking CM/cervix position.

There's this place called Justice Drugstore (yes it's a restaurant, there's a story behind the name), it's only open for dinner Wednesday thru Sunday. My moms friend/classmate from high school is the owner/head chef. It's a pretty upscale restaurant, but he's got a separate menu for the patio that is a little more casual. Both menus are freaking amazing though! Idk if I can pick just one dish to describe, and his menu changes slightly from time to time, so it's not always the same stuff over and over again. They get everything locally, and make everything from scratch, including sauces like ketchup and ranch! And they've got planters surrounding the patio that serve as decoration and fresh herbs! And the bartender makes AMAZING drinks you wouldn't really find elsewhere, he's a botanist so he really enjoys creating things. The patio outside is great for casual dinners, but inside is fancier and DH and I go there every year for our wedding anniversary. We were actually married on the patio, just us, the owner/head chef/also our officiant (he's ordained), his wife and the hostess as our witnesses. It was just a quick 5 minute thing, but it's special to us and so is the restaurant.

@lokibear89 Wine and cheese on the beach?? Sign me up!! Though I'm more of a red wine gal lol.
