Hi Everyone! 16 weeks over here, and yesterday on 16w2days I started having this WEIRD muscle spasm in my belly. At first I thought it was baby hiccupping but I'm pretty sure 16 weeks is way too early to feel that. The girls at my work were like "thats baby kicking" but again, I thought it was too early and the 'kicks' were too fast to be the baby. I mean, if it WERE the baby kicking me, then I'm going to put her in soccer and karate as soon as she starts walking because it was crazy! It felt like an eye twitch, but on my belly, near my belly button (not where ultrasound had detected baby and her heartbeat, which is lower down). It lasted for a total of 3 hours, with the first hour being super rapid movements. So much that I could see it moving my entire belly and got it on video. I called the OBGYN and the nurse said it could be a number of things since there is 'so much going on in there', but she believed it to just be muscle spasms because of my growing and expanding belly, making room and stretching muscles for baby. Super weird feeling - not painful at all, but just curious: Has this happened to anyone before????
Me: 35 DOR, low AMH = 0.694, and fibroids DH: 41 Married 10/25/2014 / TTC since 05/2015 1st IUI 05/05/16 Letrozole 7.5 mg CD 3-11 + Ovidrel = BFN 2nd cycle on Letrozole 7.5 mg CD 3-11 + TI = BFN 3rd cycle on Letrozole but did our 2nd IUI on 07/01/16. 10 mg CD 3-11 + Ovidrel = BFN Onto IVF! Started Lupron on 09/24. Added Gonal F and hcg injections 09/26...... Trigger 10/07. EggRetrieval 10/09. Starting PIO, Estrace, and Medrol 10/10/16. Transferred 2 "strong/beautiful" embryos 10/14/16. Beta 10/28/16 = 998 mIU/mL = BFP with one baby, but miscarried at 9w5d. D&C on 12/06/17 and started taking BCPs 01/10/17 for the next IVF Cycle, which officially began stims on 02/18/17. Fast Forward: we got 4 fertilized embryos from that cycle. Transferred one fresh, but it did not stick, so we have 3 frozen embryos currently. Went in to the fertility clinic in July to talk about a FET of one of those three frozen embryos, but a new fibroid was discovered, and I was not cleared to do the transfer until I had fibroid removal surgery. 08/11/17 had a mini-laparotomy / myomectomy to remove 6 fibroids, largest sized were the size of golf-balls! Once we were cleared to go about our normal lives (sex!) I got pregnant NATURALLY but it was a chemical pregnancy. The very next month we had another BFP and here we are now with a baby on the way! A TOTAL AND COMPLETE MIRACLE! Watch our YouTube Channel Vlog Here!
this would go great in our symptoms or weekly randoms. I know I posted about random stomach twitches and cramps before there. and yes normal
now by your post history you have only shared your "gender reveal" and one post on what you are eating. I suggest you go back and reread the "read first" thread as we don't appreciate these one off posts if you want to participate in the community please do so in the established threads. otherwise it comes off as disrespectful and that you just want to use us as your personal google without offering any support to the rest of us

OP, that's a very long post to ask a question that was answered by your own medical team. But hey, maybe internet strangers will be more knowledgeable, even though we know nothing about you and the majority here have zero medical training.
So yes, I've had muscle spasms. And my previous induction failed and I had a c-section. I'm also T1 DM and have a daughter. See how all these things make me more qualified? No? Huh.
@elisam511 Just noticed this happening to me, I was definitely worried at first. AND hey! don't worry about how awfully rude people are ^^^ I didn't follow the "status quo" on here either and got the same thing.. This forum is clicky and really snarky. Plenty of others would understand how worried and paranoid we get while pregnant, and even though an OB tells you "oh yeah, could be a lot of things you're probably fine." It feels a hell of a lot better to hear that many other people are going through it too.. SMH! Get off your forum horse and show some compassion.
@unicorncandycanes you have gotten so much support and yet you have literally offered none! before this point. no one was rude but rather pointed out how rude this post comes off as. you need to take big step back and realize that trying to insult one of the most supportive groups of women I have come accross isn't going to end well for you. Also reported you don't get to name call get away with it.

I mean point proved.. Good job.. CODE RED!! Someone is resisting the herd! Haha 'Name call' I mean come on people.. The evidence is right here.. and as they said. Plenty of other communities..
You are a real peach... I take it you are only here to just get your questions answered without actually trying to participate in the community. Sorry our empathy is far more going to the mom who just had a late loss instead of random person who has literally never bothered to intro. also why would anyone suddenly feel the warm fuzzies towards someone who come to do nothing but ti stir the pot.

Don’t like it here why did you stay? Don’t want to follow how a community works then be ready to be called out. It’s not just here, there are plenty of real life communities that function by processes or rules (schools, jobs, HOAs, etc). Build a community by getting to know each other not by barging in for your own needs and not give back.
@unicorncandycanes Your bump is so cute this week, and I’m so glad you shared your unpopular opinion yesterday! Also, the advice you offered on our weekly randoms thread was priceless!! Oh wait.... This is a community. Asking people to follow community guidelines here is not to be rude, snarky, or clicky. It’s for organization and so we can get to know each other and offer support to members who need it. If you’re not here for that or, again, if you don’t like it here, no one is forcing you to stay. I personally appreciate the tone and honesty on the boards here, but it’s not for everyone.
I'm really sorry that you feel this way, @unicorncandycanes. What I don't understand is, are you hanging around this clicky awful community so you can wait for the next random post and comment "I TOLD YOU SO, RHEY ARE MEAN!"? . Regardless, for being such a difficult board and app to navigate you seem to have been getting the hang of it quite well.
@wildtot lol you know I wouldn't call any of the board supporters out
also maybe Unicorns will start a poll to change how we organize and handle things. Considering her join date is the same as Ali's last active day..... hmm and they both have issues with how the board is run....
OP, yes, it has happened to me as well. Pretty normal, even though its an odd feeling.
Thay being said, please intro yourself in the Introductions thread, so we can get to know you better. Add your info to the spreadsheet. This question, as others have said, would be great in our weekly questions thread. We are a close knit community who take pride in the organization. We do tell it like it is and are not going to blow steam up anyone's bum just to make them feel better or to appease them. However, we also show extreme compassion and sympathy/empathy for the daily struggles of life. We support eachother. Please stick around and partake in the other threads.
As you can tell we don't like feeding the trolls...
