Ok... so just got off the phone with my doctor. My levels were so high he is cautiously optimistic. My levels were at 69,700. He said he would bump my chances of this being a viable pregnancy from 10 up to 11%. I’m having my hcg tested again tomorrow. Depending on my numbers, I will schedule an ultrasound next week.
Im trying to get too excited but there’s a tiny bit of hope in my heart. I am kind of numb at this point. I just don’t know.
Finally had my first appointment. It felt like the wait was forever. Longest five weeks.
Little bean looked great! Measured spot on for my EDD of September 19 with a Hr of 174. Midwife said 120-180 is the normal range at this stage. If I remember correctly, DS was 175 at this point? DH has the ultrasound pics in his truck so will AW post later. Next appt is Harmony (cell free DNA) draw on 2/21.
Had our first ultrasound yesterday morning and saw our baby! I don't know why, but I was about 50% prepared to not see anything, so when that little thing popped up on the screen immediately, I lost it. It was just wonderful - I forgot how awesome ultrasounds are! Baby had a nice strong heartbeat at 173bpm, and measured just a day behind what I had estimated. Official EDD is now 9/20. Next u/s will be in 3.5 weeks for the NT scan!

@meg+on+the+DL that is good news I hope so much for you that everything turns out well.
Had my first ultrasound today and was measuring further ahead than I expected which will bump me well into August. I am happy in this group so I hope y’all don’t mind keeping me here
Had my first ultrasound on Wed, it was semi reassuring. I'm newly PAL so lots of feelings there. HB was 125 for 7W 1D which RE said was in the normal range ( although I'm stressing it was low ), He saw no warning signs of a not viable pregnancy. All done with the RE unless any issues prior to 10 weeks. I keep looking at my lil picture of the US and smiling. Next appt Feb 20th with my doc for the standard pre natal 1st visit. I like her so looking fw to that.

My appt went *well* (see FFFC for further details). Told me I can take a small amount of Motrin for migranes (if Tylenol or caffieine dont help) until 2nd trimester. Found out no US until 18/20 weeks but will hear heartbeat on 27th at next appt. Really not helping my twin fear but guess it is what it is.
@nlc8424 lucky you! I don't want to wait to find out. I don't know if there is any way of knowing with just the heartbeat (will they hear 2? What if they hear it and just figure 1 and then I find out at 18wks twins?!) . It's going to be a looooong 10ish weeks
Had my 10 week appointment yesterday. The midwife struggled to find the heartbeat with the doppler so I got to have a quick US instead. All is well. They drew blood for initial labs. We were originally going to skip the NIPT due to cost but decided last night to just get it done because the cost would go toward our deductible -- which we will be easily meeting this year -- anyway. So I went back and had that done today. It's crazy that we will know if we are having another girl or a boy in just a few days.
First ultrasound today. All looks good....phew. Longest week ever. I'm measuring a week early which puts me in August but I don't think that is right cause I know when everything went down and no way it happened earlier unless through telepathy. So we'll see when this one decides to show up. The excitement has been unleashed from being so cautious until I got picture proof.
