Hi all! I'm preparing to start solids with my little guy. I just read that 65% of food allergies develop in babies without a family history! But I also read that the latest research says to feed baby the top 8 allergies early and keep them in his diet regularly to significantly reduce the risk of developing an allergy. What do you think about this? How are you doing this? Thanks!!
I am very pro, but not at a super early age. I think babies should be exclusively breastfed until six months, not three, so these shouldn't be introduced untilafter six months. I haven't done a lot so far but will just introduce them one at a time just like anything else. I definitely wouldn't combine them because then you'll have a harder time figuring out what it is if they have a reaction.
Thanks for responding! Just curious, do you have a plan for regularly keeping all 8 in the diet, like a couple times a week? I know some people use charts or make a specific recipe.

Not at this point, no. I try to keep what she eats mixed up anyway, so I'm not super concerned about how often we feed it.
