1. Two great new classes of students! I think they'll be a lot of fun to teach this semester. 2. Helpful co-workers. 3. A parking spot close to my building (it's cold out there today!). 4. New ipads to play with at work. 5. Students who stop by just to say hi and catch up. 6. My awesome husband and all the support he gives me. 7. My cuddly kitties, even though they woke me up early. 8. Lots of good food to cook at home. 9. Supportive family and friends. 10. This community and all of you amazing ladies.
1. My H - for working tirelessly to support us and make sure our little family is taken care of and still manages to show me love every day. 2. My parents for letting us stay with them while our house is being built 3. My friends for always being there for me through all these ups and downs. I can always count on them. 4. My puppies for keeping me warm this winter with all of the snuggles and puppy loves. 5. My car for giving me the best gas mileage ever. 6.my commute for only being 15 minutes now that we're staying at my mom's house. Makes it super easy to run home and take the dogs on a walk at lunch. 7. For our house selling and our sale going through. The hard part is done and we're that much closer to moving into the new place. I'm also thankful for all the memories I got to make there. That home was good to us. 8.For our new house, getting to pick out everything the way we wanted it and one day being able to make new memories there. 9. My bedding. Ha! I made my H leave it so we could put it on the bed in my parents guest room so we'd all feel more at home. It worked too! We've all slept much better since I made the switch. Funny how those little comforts make such a difference. 10. My bumpies. I swear I have no idea what I would do without you guys. You keep me sane and lift me up in the darkest of times. You guys are my light. Xo
I super need this today. Let's see what I can come up with...
1. My bestie. We don't get to see each other often since she works nights, but I love that we still make time. We are seeing a movie tonight and I am excited! 2. Living in a house. We rent it, but I freaking love it. It's expensive, but worth it. After living in tiny @$$ apartments for YEARS, it's so nice to have space. And we are so lucky to have found it for the price it is. 3. Mom living near by. Our relationship has been on and off for years since her depression, but it's really nice that she is only 2 miles down the road, and is available anytime we need. 4. My pets. They are annoying most of the time, but the love they give back makes it worth it. 5. That my husband is a cook and is amazing at it. He can make food out of any crap we have in the fridge and pantry. 6. The library and park within walking distance. (Best thing about living in a small town). 7. Walmart grocery pick up. (Seriously it's a life changer, and I ain't ever going back). 8. Coffee. I was never as much into coffee until maybe a few months ago. Now I HAVE to have it every morning. 9. Video games to play with hubby. We are super into Battlefront right now, and it's super fun to just unwind and shoot things. 10. Definitely you ladies, because it brightens my day every time I hop on the board and talk to ya'll.
@darkstar42 Hooray for two new sets of great students! @Whitmore1027 Hope you enjoy the movie! MH keeps trying to get me into video games but the best I can do is Mario. YH is lucky that you play games with him!
1. Delicious Blue Apron enchiladas for dinner. 2. Cute boots to wear to work today that made me feel good about myself. 3. Beer! 4. All of you. You guys are the best and I'm confident I'd be going crazy right now if it weren't for your endless reassurance and support. 5. Awesome RE and nurse who've made starting testing really easy. 6. Good insurance for said testing (well, at least for some of it). 7. Yoga videos on YouTube to help me find some peace. 8. My sister is healthy! So so thankful and relieved. 9. A fantastic husband who supports me and loves me, even though I'm sometimes a jerk to him. 10. Great books to read on topics from YA to sci-fi to egg quality.
