R/R: - I'm going to spare everyone the gory details but the gist of it is I got a medical bill written off today and offered free counseling by my Dr's office. I was pretty worked up having to relive and explain everything but the girl I talked to on the phone was so caring and sympathetic. I feel relieved to be done with that.

Yes he knows, I think it bothers him when I'm on my phone too much sometimes, but I told him how much support I got after my loss from all the ladies and I think he really likes that. He's not good with emotional stuff and feelings. He's an engineer in technology. He's basically part robot. I think he's relieved to not have to talk about ttc(al) all the time and that I have an outlet for it.
@galactickates you have reminded me I should probably try to do more west coast Sunday evening, my time Monday morning with my friends in Cali...
And well done with that bill! I read the thread you talked about that on a few weeks ago.
And although I’m not WTO anymore, I will answer the GTKY - yes DH knows, sometimes he raises his eyebrows how much time I spend on the weekend, but he doesn’t want to read or know as he knows I haven’t told anyone IRL, whereas he had three male colleagues “come out” about doing IVF with their wives, so they all do male bonding at lunch about it... in fact it even helped him get a good relationship with the CIO of the company and helped his career... oh how different it is for men!!!

*TW* I am still super close with about 15 of the girls from my N16 BMB. We send Christmas cards and have been really open with each other. He gets really mad because he thinks I’m being catfished.

WAYDTGKU: Positive OPK yesterday, so I stayed up until midnight waiting for MH to finish playing video games so we could get it on. I'm so tired this morning!
R/R: Ehhhh. Woes at work. I feel like I'm working my butt off and my coworkers aren't pulling their weight, but no one cares. But I lined up a new job that starts in a couple of months, so I don't have to worry about it for too much longer! Rave: FRIDAY!
GTKY: He knows I'm on TB and he thinks it's kind of weird. He thinks it makes me more obsessed about TTC. In his mind, I just need to stop thinking about TTC and it'll be fine. I've tried to explain to him that I'm going to think about it no matter what and it helps to have an outlet on TB. He doesn't really say anything about it anymore though, and he usually spends a ton of time just browsing Twitter, so at least we both have something to do online.

He doesn't. He has a job that basically is pretty paranoia inducing so he wouldn't be thrilled with the idea of me talking about personal stuff on the internet even though it's "anonymous." Last time around he knew I lurked on some kind of baby board but he didn't know what. He thought it made me upset to read it, but really I would just always come on when I was already upset and it would make me feel better. So here I am again!
@emmasemm - i'm jealous of how comfortable men are discussing stuff like this! I had a coworker randomly tell me all about him and his wife doing ivf. I would never be able to open up like that in person, it's admirable!

@offtoneverland Yay for the positive OPK! I was hoping to get mine last night too because that’s when I got it last month. My DH plays video games also. What is your DH into? That is the worst when you feel like you are doing way more than your fair share at work. My last job was the same which caused me to switch companies. Congrats on the new job! Is it the same line of work? Sorry your DH doesn’t really understand why you are TB. Sometimes I wish I was a little less obsessed with TTC and DH was a little more interested so we could balance each other out.

I also need to hunt down a good work/carry on/travel bag that I can use for a few upcoming work trips that can fit my computer and act as a purse - any recommendations are welcome!

He definitely knows because I talk about it all the time and update him when something big happens. He's never really offered an opinion but I've always had fairly strong online communities (**TW - Kids - I've been on IG since the birth of my daughter 7 years ago with a group of ladies from TB back then that all had kids around the same time and have met a number of them in person End TW**) so this isn't new for me. I also met DH online so he knows there is value in virtual relationships.
@emmasemm That's so neat that he's been able to bond with guys over IVF. What a great outlet for him!

R/R: Just irrationally rationally cranky this morning bc I forgot to take my BBT. I was on a roll and stormed out of the house before DH this morning because he was giving me answers in Spanish before letting me even attempt (this after throwing the dogs on the bed to wake me up-which is adorable but also the reason I forgot to take my temp.) And now my mom is asking me questions for recommendations that I answered for her November. It grinds my gears when people aren't paying attention and don't stop to reflect that that means someone else has to do something twice. If you aren't ready to focus and pay attention, then hold off.
I'm an asshat, but at least I'm mildly amused by my antics and own ridiculousness after... (except this second annoyance with my mother right now, that's a for real pet peeve.)
I think more coffee this morning will make me a pleasant morning. I'm very thankful DH puts up with my ridiculousness and rant-y days.

R/R: It's Friday! Rave: I was just assigned a huge new project at work so it was a really exciting, but good week at work. But I am happy it is Friday because I am exhausted from all of it! Friday usually means date night with DH, and it is usually the only night during the week he comes home from work before 7pm.

@stargazer1lily Oh my goodness! So glad you didn't get any strangers or wild creatures wandering in your house. Was your house freezing when you woke up because of the cold temperatures where you live?
@eleven_ MH plays tons of different video games. Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, uhm, I'm having trouble thinking of them all right now. He used to play Destiny a lot with a group of friends online but he doesn't like it much anymore. What does YH play? My new job is in the same line of work, so hopefully the transition goes smoothly. I haven't told anyone in my current office about it yet. They won't be happy when they find out, but oh well. I definitely need a change for my stress levels. I've been wondering if my stress is contributing to my recent issues with TTC. Also, you live in Utah? I visited Utah for a short work trip over the summer and I LOVED it.
@elothair lol, I totally forgot about FW when I told him he could go play video games. It wasn't until I was going to bed that I was like "dammit! It's FW!" I didn't mind staying up late though because I got to finish my book! My start date for my new job will be either the end of June or July. Work is kind of weird right now; I started a temporary 6-month position in another office, but I'm still supporting my old office for a few hours per week. So once the temporary position is done, I'll be able to switch right over to the new one.

@krissy2241 I'm sorry you've been dealing with a similar situation at work. It's so awful! I started doing acupuncture last week and so far I really like it for the stress relief. Hopefully it helps with the fertility things too!
