OK, started aversions today, waiting for nausea, but already have super high gag reflex even without nausea. So tired, and so much snot. Not stuffy, just running out more and down throat.

Last baby was "the leech." I'm thinking just the "larva" this time. We're into science and blunt truth.
What three items are always in your purse?
Well, if I had one...eye drops, chap stick, and ibu profen.
What three items are always in your fridge?
Dr. Pepper, apples, wine. And it's red, because in classy and like my red chilled. And white wine is only for when you run out of red and it's already open (because someone else bought it and opened it).

How are things going? How are you feeling? I'm not feeling very pregnant, honestly. The few symptoms that I had have now disappeared.
Upcoming appointments? On the 23. We will get to see an 8 week ultrasound!! Very exciting!
Do you and your SO have any special nicknames yet for your little sprout? Our little love. We've already decided to announce the week after Valentine's Day.
What three items are always in your purse? Phone, water and mini umbrella.
What three items are always in your fridge? Milk, Salsa and fruit.

How are things going? How are you feeling?
Pregnancy wise things are great. Had an ultrasound yesterday and got to see the heartbeat. Symptom wise I feel pretty terrible with tons of nausea, food aversions, gas, and fatigue. I’m feeling like a terrible mom because DS has been sick this week and I have been feeling miserable so I have let him watch more TV this week than the rest of his life combined- we don’t usually let him watch any TV.
Upcoming appointments?
Just had one yesterday with our RE and we graduated to get to see an OB! Our first OB appointment is on 1/22.
Do you and your SO have any special nicknames yet for your little sprout?
So far just “mutant alien” after seeing the ultrasound- but I’m sure a much nicer nickname will surface soon. We were afraid to get too attached before the ultrasound and didn’t talk about the baby much.
What three items are always in your purse?
I don’t use a purse, but if I did- chapstick , phone, and tic tacs
What three items are always in your fridge?
Raspberries, yogurt, cheese sticks
How are you feeling? - so, so, so tired. I can sleep a solid 8 hours and still feel exhausted the moment I wake up. Nauseous, morning pukes.
Upcoming appointments - TUESDAY!! The countdown is on.
Nicknames - no, and we didn't for our other kids either, interestingly. We always just said "the baby", we didn't even use the chosen name out loud for our second because we didn't want our big kid repeating it!
3 items in your purse - I don't really use a purse either, but I always have my cell phone, chapstick and some sort of snack with me lol

How are things going? How are you feeling? MS sucks monkey balls. But I was pretty productive in the hours I didn't feel sick AND I ate two full meals today so I'm calling that a win.
Upcoming appointments? Had our first US today. Next one is next Thursday the 18th to check the heartbeat rate. Then I graduate to an OB.
Do you and your SO have any special nicknames yet for your little sprout? We really just talk about "my pregnancy" rather than the baby at this point. Having experienced a loss and having friends who had a second tri loss, I think we're both hesitant to become too attached.
What three items are always in your purse? Wallet, pen, business cards
What three items are always in your fridge? Milk, condiments, leftovers from the week before.
@pourmeamocktail I joked that the "baby" (it's a fetus to me right now), looks like a slug on our US. I'm terrified that's the nickname that will stick, haha. I dig "larva"

@do114Don't put so much pressure on yourself. I remember as a child, being allowed to watch extra tv was one of the few perks of getting sick. You gotta do what ya gotta do.
@lumosmaxima Oh man, the extra sleep is totally my favorite thing about pregnancy so far. I'm always exhausted so that's not new. But eight hours of sleep. Golden.
@abuntantlilacs I think we always have hot sauce too. H puts that ish on everything.
@do114 sorry you’ve been feeling so terrible and that your child has been sick too. Hopefully you all start to feel better.

I feel good for the most part. I mainly have been dealing with insomnia which is annoying and something I didn’t really experience with my last pregnancy.

No, first appointment is Feb 1st

Not yet. DS was called “little fox” because DH thought he would have red hair (like me) but he’s a complete toe head.

I never have a purse but I often have a work side bag which always has my wallet, laptop and work materials.

Cranberry juice, eggs, spinach

@SkilledSailor DH and I have been taking turns getting up with the kids, I am so thankful that he has been extra flexible letting me sleep a little longer. I feel like I need every minute I can get! I'm lucky the kids sleep good through the night now but they are still up before dawn!

I. Feel. Awful. I haven’t actually BEEN sick yet, but there is a lot of unsuccessful running for the bathroom and I am nauseous all the time. Nothing sounds good and all i can stomach are bland carbs. Yesterday I finally had some fruit—that was a big win.

DS was “The Bean”. No name for this one yet though! Like many of you have said, it still feels too early to make that leap yet. Maybe after the 16th I’ll feel differently

How are things going? how are you feeling?
I guess everything is going OK. I have my first real appointment today, but feeling terrible! Went in for an emergency appointment earlier this week due to extreme morning sickness. I was given IV fluids and started on dicelgis, which has made a difference, but just like last time still throwing up. I laughed when people told me how you forgot the awful parts of pregnancy until now, I remembered being sick with DD, but forgot just terrible I felt until it all started again.

First intake appointment today.

Not yet, we really didn't last time either. As we got closer I started using DD's name but just with hubby.
What three items are always in your purse?
Don't really carry a purse much anymore but my diaper bag always has my phone, wubber (DD's paci) and my wallet.
What 3 items are always in your fridge?
Almond-coconut milk for DD, vegan butter for DD, and eggs for everyone
We use the phrase tow head a lot in my family as much of my mom's family had/has white blond hair, so I looked it up out of curiosity of origin. Still not totally sure, lol.

very, very sick. Nauseated 2/3 of the day, vomited at work yesterday. It’s becoming very hard to hide and I really don’t want to tell work this early. So many food aversions!

Jan 31 is my first one. I’ll be 10 weeks, it feels like the longest wait!

How are things going? How are you feeling?
I have hit a new level of exhaustion I didn’t know existed. I haven’t had MS but the nausea and food aversions started this week. Also I now know what heightened sense of smell is and can’t open the refrigerator without gagging.
Upcoming appointments?
Next Thursday. We are so excited and anxious. With our last loss the US didn’t show anything but a sac so we are hoping to see baby.
Do do you and your SO have any special nicknames yet for your little sprout?
Yes, “Dart”. We had just finished binge watching Stranger Things and for those of you who haven’t seen it Dart is the little monster that grows quickly, eats everything, and can be very mean. I get super grumpy the week before we find out I’m pregnant and that’s how we knew to get a pregnancy test. The name seemed to fit and now whenever I get moody my DH and I joke about not making Dart angry.

How are things going? How are you feeling? I’m exhausted and the ms comes and goes. Last time I only got it when hungry or brushing my teeth and now I mostly get it at night. Every time it goes away I freak out then it comes back and I am upset at myself for wishing ms on myself.
Upcoming appointments? A week from Wednesday, it can’t come soon enough!
