  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    Cycle Day/DPO: 17/4

    Timing: -3, -1

    Typical LPs length: 12

Testing: 1/15 is the plan. May move up and test on 1/12, one of DH's partners invited us over to dinner. Would want the reassurance of a stark BFN before vino.

R/R: back to a regular work schedule. Waah.

    CS/Q: nope

GTKY: What celebrity chef would you want to cook you dinner? Probably Alex Guarnaschelli. Frenchy food with lots of butter, de-lish!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    Cycle Day/DPO: 18/7 (FF says 9dpo though)

Timing: Great timing, we will see.

    Typical LPs length: 15

Testing: Wednesday. I have the day off work so why not.

R/R: Its warming up finally! Its crazy that 30 degrees feels "warm". Ive already gotten into a raised voice conversation with this annoying client who keeps changing her mind and missed out on the apartment she wanted because someone else rented it while she was being indecisive.

    CS/Q: noneeee

GTKY: Which celebrity chef would you like to make you dinner? Definitely Gordon Ramsey.

@catlady2015 I'm back to my normal schedule too, hate it! Have a great week!!

Sorry, think I posted in the wrong spot this morning!

@catlady2015 hoping you do not see the BFN, but if not, that it is some very good wine!
  • Woah @catlady2015 what a great GTKY! I'm starting WTO now and definitely stealing it.
    @kobrien827 I am defniitely a Ramsey fan!
  • @catlady2015 - yum to french food!  i would put butter on everything if it wouldn't make me 500 lbs.
    @kobrien827 - i feel the SAME way.  34 degrees?  Who needs a coat....WOOHOO!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    Cycle Day/DPO: 25/12

    Timing: not my finest

    Typical LPs length: 14 days

Testing: BFN yesterday.  I am most definitely out.  Time to shake it off and gear up for next month!

R/R: The dentist mentioned the possibility of wanting to remove my wisdom teeth.  no.  NO.  NOOOOOO!  i am way too old to deal with that.  Do people really get their wisdom teeth removed after 30?  Shouldn't we just let them be at this point?

    CS/Q:

GTKY: Which celebrity chef would you like to make you dinner? I'm not sure if she's a true "celebrity" but Stephanie Izzard.  That woman is a mastermind in the kitchen.  I'm obsessed with her "Girl and the Goat" restaurant in Chicago.

  • @jengibre_zorro Girl and the Goat is on my list of restaurants to try! The menu looks flame.

  • Sorry for posting and ghosting yesterday.  My mobile app has been acting up (amazon ads keep popping up and forcing me to close the app) ever since I got a new phone… I’m worried I need a virus protection on my phone like my old one had.  Any advice?

    Month/Cycle: 9/9

    Cycle Day/DPO: something/5

    Timing: -3, -1, 1

    Typical LPs length: 13

    Testing: no

R/R: My trip into work this morning, with my new schedule, was uneventful!  I did however get a call from MIL that the grandparent were in a car accident.  Ironically they were on their way to see MH’s aunt (their DIL) who was in an accident a week or so ago.  They are fine, broken arm and internal bleeding that they just want to watch. On a more positive note, I really needed coffee this morning (long story but the crap I made was disgusting) so I went over to a new place on campus.  It happened to be in the medical center and while I was there I just felt my heart being pulled.  I used to work in the medical field as a receptionist, and it’s why I got a biology degree.  But I suck at biology, words and memorizing are not my thing. I’m way better at numbers which is why I ended up getting a second degree in physics.  I miss working in health care but I don’t see where I would fit in.

CS/Q: I feel like we’re just waiting out the next 3 months so we can be referred to a specialist.  No confidence what so ever.

GTKY: Which celebrity chef would you like to make you dinner? Marcus Samuelsson, yum!

@catlady2015 I might be testing 1/12 too… I mean I do have a ton of cheapies in the drawer… lol

@kobrien827 It’s in the 30’s here too and it feels amazing.  I even saw 40’s in the forecast which makes me happy but at the same time sad because it’s way too early for those temps.

    @jengibre_zorro Sorry for you BFN.

    CD/DPO: 29/10

    Typical LP Length: 12

    Timing: -3, -1, 1

Testing: BFN yesterday, gonna test Wednesday evening and Thursday morning if AF hasn’t shown (BFF told me that HCG might be higher in the evening for some, can’t hurt I guess)

    R/R: ugh Monday

CS/Q: spotting stopped. If it was pre-AF spotting I should start today, but I’m trying to be positive

GTKY: Nigella, don’t know why but her good just always looks so rich, homey and delicious

@catlady2015 Fx for BFP on 1/12!

    @kobrien827 sorry for annoying client!

@jengibre_zorro sorry for BFN, I’m in the same boat, trying to stay positive but 99% sure I’m out

@ljmoon6 what about healthcare do you miss the most? Is there a tangent position you could see yourself in?

  • @leafyarch - the HCG will keep building if it's in your system, but remember the concentration is highest in the morning. Do a pee hold if you test in the evening to better approximate FMU. Hope AF doesn't show for you!

I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up, but DH (who's super pessimistic) is actually sounding positive about our chances this month. It's hard to be realistic when that's going on! I'm only testing 1/12 so I can feel good about drinking that night. Fully expecting that one to be negative. AF isn't due until the 16th, so testing 1/15 is if my temp didn't drop (usually would day before AF) or I wasn't spotting a day or so beforehand.

@LJMoon6 - we're DPO buddies! FTR, the bump app is kinda sucky. There have been lots of issues - now they have the ads, etc. You have to log in again to reply/post sometimes and it's just a quirky experience. Glad YH's grandparents are ok!

@leafyarch I really have no idea. Maybe it's working with patients... but I'm a huge introvert so that doesn't really make sense. I could possible get into more statistical health care. But I don't know if that would be satisfying either. This week I'm officially at my 6 months at my new job. This is my dream job, working at a university doing research. But I think I'm starting to realize I'm not really doing research (mostly just training/advising grad students on their research projects). Oh well. I'm a very restless person.
@catlady2015 Thanks! I'm so glad they're ok too. But I'm holding my breath, things happen in 3s... ugh stupid superstition!

ETA because I wanted to add this: I love my job.  I really do. I am encouraged to do research, and even write papers to get published. But only in the process of how to nano fabricate, not in what is actually being fabricated.  I also never saw myself being in the nano technology field at all. But I know I haven't even touched the surface of my job yet.  I just need to stop being a lazy a** and stop stalking TB!

  • @catlady2015 Back to regular routine here too...blah.

@kobrien827 Gotta love dealing with cranky people on a Monday! I hope the day has improved!

@jengibre_zorro Boo for BFN! I know a few people who have had their wisdom teeth out recently (and are all over 30) so apparently you aren't alone at least!

@ljmoon6 I'm totally with you on the waiting to see a specialist. It's been 10 months for us...I know the odds aren't in our favour at this point so I wish we could just hit the 12 month mark so my Dr would give us a referral!

@leafyarch Sorry for the BFN - hopefully it's just too early for all of us who have gotten them this week!

    Month/Cycle: 10/10

    Cycle Day/DPO: 27/9

    Timing: Really good

    Typical LPs length: 12-13

Testing: BFN this morning but will likely re-test every morning until AF shows even though I'm likely out because I'm a sucker for punishment.

R/R: Rant: Back to work today and it's super rainy and gross out. Rave: My stepbet started today and I'm crushing it! Now if only I can keep it up for the next 5 weeks!

CS/Q: Nothing exciting - temps are still high but mine don't tank until the day of AF usually so fairly unreliable at this point.

GTKY: Which celebrity chef would you like to make you dinner? Umm...I can't think of any one in particular but I love food so I'm sure I'd be happy with pretty much any of them!

  • Month/Cycle: 2/2 (+3ntnp)

    Cycle Day/DPO: 27/10

    Timing: good

    Typical LPs length: 14ish maybe

Testing: today (dumb) and BFN - but I was just wasting a test bc I did it mid day bc I’m crazy. See what happens when I keep HPTs in the house?

R/R: I made DH a Mexican stew earlier today, with jalepenos. THEN I wasn’t thinking and did a manual check for cervix position and CM - guess who didn’t wash her hands well enough? Yup. My lady bits are feeling a bit like a Mexican inferno. Ahhhh!

CS/Q: I can’t even. FF is about to go offline is I look at the chart gallery and compare anymore

GTKY: Which celebrity chef would you like to make you dinner? Whichever one doesn’t use jalepenos.

@jengibre_zorro - ugh. Sorry about BFN - don’t lose hope just yet though!

@ljmoon6 - the inability to get a virus is the primary appeal to me of apple products. Just sayin’

@leafyarch - no idea re: HCG but I’ll say a prayer for your BFP - we’re cycle buddies.

@elothair - I’m with you on not knowing celeb chefs off the top of my head - and I won’t turn down a meal from a single one of them! Haha!
