If you are a contributing member with a BFP this week, please share your success with us here.
How do you know if you're a contributing member?
1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here. 2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy? 3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there? 4. Really, if you're a 1/1 or a 2/2, maybe just move on. Even if you have participated daily for one month and offered tons of support. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit. 5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful. -----------------------------------------------------------
This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but doesn't allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments. Use the "Love It" button or "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short & sweet notes.
Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!
When you see somebody who has possibly violated a guideline of this thread, please quote the section of these guidelines and include a callout to the poster, but keep snark to a minimum. If you have a post called out, please edit your offending post to add a note that you've been made aware of the rule and will keep it in mind in the future (if you are being asked to change wording due to unintentionally offensive phrasing, please remove that part of your post with a note of "EDIT: Removed offensive phrasing"). If you would like to make an argument for or against a rule, please create or update a META thread to discuss.
CD/DPO of first BFP?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU?
How was your timing?
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
Very cautiously posting this, but today I am pregnant and I'm trying my hardest not to worry too much about what's going to happen.
CD/DPO of first BFP? 26/10. I had a super faint line on a blue dye test but didn't believe it until I got a positive on a FRER and digital on 11dpo, since blue dyes are so notorious for false positives. I also think it's interesting to note that I still haven't been able to turn an easy@home HPT. I'm trying not to read too much into that.
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 7 months *TW* with 2 early losses in that time frame and 1 benched cycle following my most recent loss. *end TW* I lurked TTGP during that whole time, but started actively participating in August.
What did your chart look like? Chart in spoiler. (It's huge, sorry!)
What were you doing TGKU? Charting and using OPKs.
How was your timing? -4, -3, -1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I had some weird cramping on 7dpo, I think. It felt almost like it was in the area of my cervix. I'm not sure if that can be attributed to anything though or if it was just my body being weird. On 9dpo I felt some cramping after sex which doesn't typically happen, so that caught me off guard. My breasts started feeling sore around 9 or 10dpo but it doesn't feel too much different from the typical PMS soreness.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Nothing too exciting. I showed him the positive digital test right after I took it. With my two previous loss cycles, he never believed the light pink lines on the FRER, so he was much more willing to believe the digital!
Anything else to add? You guys are amazing. Seriously. I'm going to miss you all so much. I've gotten to know a lot of you better than my IRL friends and for that reason I feel like I've made some really lasting friendships. I think it's amazing that you guys are willing and able to support everyone in their TTC journey, whether they're just starting out or have been here for years. I wish I hadn't waited until August to start participating here! I also wanted to give a shout out to the ladies on the TTCAL thread. You've all been through so much and I was so thankful to have a group of people who could give support after everyone's losses. It meant the world to me to have a place where we could all talk openly about our feelings and know that we could find support no matter what type of loss we had experienced. Thank you to everyone for all the support you've provided over the past couple of months. I wish I could find better words to say it because a simple "thank you" doesn't really cut it. You all are seriously the best and I'm constantly thinking about you all and hoping that some way or another, you get your take home babies. I'll be stalking you all like crazy!
@offtoneverland I am so damn happy for you! And I have absolutely everything crossed that this is the stickiest of beans. Definitely going to miss your positive presence on the board. Wishing you an uneventful 9 months ahead.
@offtoneverland - congrats! I haven't been participating on here long, but I am so excited and happy for you! Wishing you an uneventful, happy and healthy 9 months!
@offtoneverland CONGRATS!!!! By the way, the Easy @ Home HPTs suck. They can give both false +ves and false -ves.

I am cautiously and excitedly posting here! CD/DPO of first BFP? 33/16
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 7 TTC, (+ 1 benched, 1 ntnp): 9 total
What did your chart look like? I gave up temping this month so that I would not feel so anxious.
What were you doing TGKU? PNVs, Preseed, Ubiquinol, OPKs, and Clomid 50mg CD5-9
How was your timing? -3, 0, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I am honestly still in shock about the BFP! (Happy shock of course! ) I had all of my usual PMS symptoms (cramping, bloating, skin breakouts). I've been charting for about a year and I know my cycle fairly well. I usually experience cramping starting around 5-7dpo and it was the same this time around. I was so sure that I was out that I became lazy about taking my PNVs because I didn't want to waste them at the end of another failed cycle. Last week I ordered more opks and Preseed so that I would be prepared for FW during our holiday travels. I was so confident that I was out that I did not even bother to test. When AF did not show at 16dpo, I was frustrated that the Clomid lengthened my LP, as I still had cramping. I took an easy@home test and only saw a single line. I walked away, feeling as though the test confirmed what I was thinking. I checked again just to be extra sure before tossing it and saw a second line.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I am hoping to surprise him on Christmas. Ideas welcome!
Anything else to add? You all have become a second family to me. I honestly do not know what I would do without my TTGP tribe. I have been a part of this amazing board for the past 6 months and I have learned so much about my body, the reproductive system, and the wonders of fertility treatments from everyone. I have also seen tremendous grace and compassion from you ladies. And of course I am thankful for the amazing sense of humor of the TTGP ladies that brightens all of our days. The never-ending gifs made me laugh on days when I did not think I could keep going. Thank you for the love, support, and knowledge each of you has shown me. I will continue to lurk this page. I am rooting and praying so hard for each of you!
@dukestar5 Oh my friend!!! Crying happy tears for you. I am so damn happy for you!! But I am going to miss you so much!! Wishing such an amazing journey ahead. I will be stalking you all the way through.
@darkstar5 So so happy for you! We're going to miss you around here, but I'll be stalking you on your bmb. Hope you have an amazing nine months, and a perfect Christmas reveal
@dukestar5 Yay!! I was just thinking about you this morning! So happy for you! Do y'all do stocking stuffers? If we had gotten a BFP this cycle I was going to put "dad" related stuff at the bottom of his stocking. Gives you time to capture his reaction without being too obvious as to why you have the camera out.
