R/R: I have lots of goodies in the house. But I need to stay OUT of the goodies so I have things for the ILs.  

CS/Q: nope. don't have high hopes for this cycle and trying not to feed the SS crazy in me. 

GTKY: What is your favorite board/card game? There's an awesome French card game called Mille Bornes. You're traveling a thousand miles, but you have to draw the right cards to start your car and get miles. Players can stop you with red lights, flat tires, out of gas, accidents, etc. You have to fix the problem and get a green light to keep moving. First to 1000 miles wins.

R/R: Meh, it's Monday. I'm feeling a bit under the weather but am glad it's a slower week. Lots of rest this week!

GTKY: I have so many I like. We've been enjoying Sequence lately. I also really like Pandemic since that's a cooperative strategy game. 

@catlady2015 Oh that sounds like a fun game! I wonder if it comes in English. Do you speak French?

R/R: We went out for DH’s work holiday party last night to this really nice restaurant. Except the food wasn’t great and it took 4 hours!

GTKY: What is your favorite board/card game?  This is a hard question only because I love games so much. Growing up, Clue was hands down my favorite. But I think as an adult I love cribbage and catch phrase.

@catlady2015 I’ve never heard of that game, but it sounds like a lot of fun!

@SkilledSailor I love sequence! I haven’t played it in a long time though.

@SkilledSailor - it IS in english! thank heavens, since i cant speak french. it just came from France. My babysitter in elementary school introduced us to it and now it's a must-play when my sisters and I get together. DH isn't a game guy so I don't get to play it as much as I want. Sequence is also fun!

@melbel0824 Clue is so much fun, but MH and I rarely have enough people around to play with. Have you ever played Clue: The Great Museum Caper? I think it's out of production now, but it's a blast.

R/R: It's finals week for the semester! I'm glad to nearly be done, but dealing with students who have failed all the exams and are now confused about why they aren't passing the class is frustrating.

CS/Q: Nothing to see.

GTKY: What is your favorite board/card game? I love games! We haven't had a lot of time to play lately, but some favorites are Forbidden Desert (a cooperative game), Munchkin (a satire of dungeons and dragons), and Dominion (a deck-building game).

R/R: Going to be a pretty slow week at work which works out for me so I can get my Christmas shopping done/wrapped. I feel like I have many things left to do but I think I will get it all done. No rants today other than its Monday.

CS/Q: No questions today. Hoping my temps stay elevated.

GTKY: What is your favorite board/card game? I used to love Candy Land as a kid. DH and I have been playing Cards Against Humanity lately and it is so funny. We dont play too many board games.

R/R: Hello old friends, its been awhile. I needed a break. I quit my job and my new private practice is opening next month. We are leaving for vacation in about 10 days! I never in a million years thought I would still be ttc for this trip, I thought I would be about 5 months along. Oh well! *TW* I'm really excited to be moving to part time work so I can spend more time with my toldder. *end TW*

I love board and card games! I love catan probably the most.

R/R: It has been a busy morning, I'm hoping to get a bit of a break this afternoon. Last Monday I had to work late and missed my yoga class, so I'm hoping to get out early today. 

CS/Q:

GTKY: What is your favorite board/card game? I really do love Monopoly. I have a lot of good memories of playing as a kid and Trivial Pursuit too. guess I'm old school.  As an adult, DH and I don't play a lot of games, when we do it is usually a card game. I also like the classic party games like pictionary and taboo. Cards against humanity is always fun with a group.

@kobrien827 sorry about the bfn, they always sting. how long have you been temping?

@darkstar42 we had Clue: the great museum caper when I was a kid! It was such fun. GL with ending the semester. Keeping FX for you!

@melbel0824 we bought a "classic" version of Clue recently. I don't like that they changed it.

Testing: Tested this weekend and BFN, and I’m starting to get cramps so AF should be arriving soon…

R/R: Rant. MH and I had the talk this weekend… The talk about how far we would take things if infertility is where we end up. We pretty much landed on, if insurance covers some of it, we’d be willing to do any meds that’s needed/suggested and maybe IVF. But I think that’s as far as we would go.  We would then move to adoption.  Of course we would like to have our own biological children but we’re both very open to it (we even considered adoption before we started TTC). But I’m sure our opinions will change once we’re in the middle of it. Rave. But after that depressing talk we went to the animal humane society and accidentally adopted a puppy! She’s a 5 month old stray Catahoula leopard dog.  She's super timid and adorable.  Warming up nicely to the family.

GTKY: What is your favorite board/card game? I love all board and card games! As a kid my favorite was always Pictionary.  Now I think I would say Settlers of Catan.  But it’s always changing (we played “What do you Meme” at our Thanksgiving party and it was really funny).  My brother is always buying new games.  It’s one of the things I like about Christmas is a new game to play with the family.

@catlady2015 Good luck staying away from the goodies! I would fail miserably. I don’t have high hopes either for this cycle and am trying so hard not to even think about symptoms. That game sound really fun. I just added it to my cart on Amazon!

@melbel0824 - I used to love clue. I bought my nieces and nephews suspicion this year which looks similar. I hope they enjoy it.

@melbel0824 We went with Luna.  We are big Harry Potter nerds and MH keeps calling her Luna Lovedog lol.  My parents came over yesterday and my dad couldn’t remember her name and kept calling her Loony… I couldn’t stop laughing.

@LJMoon6 Okay, I see the pic! She's beautiful. Our dog is named Luna too and we always call her Loony Lovegood  DH always jokes that we cursed her by naming her that because she is truly crazy.

@darkstar42 That's exciting you tested out the trigger.  What does YH say?  Are you leaning toward testing or not?  And sorry for the frustration with students who suddenly find themselves surprised about failing (when they probably did not put much thought into it earlier in the semester).

@kobrien827 Enjoy the slow work week.  Do you work in an office or at home?  If an office, I'm impressed by your ability to wrap there.

@mygoodlucycat How have you been?  How is the new job treating you?  Enjoy your vacation.  (I had similar thoughts to you...now I'm just trying to adjust my thinking and not plan so far in the future.  It's hard).
