DH was complaining last night that I never bother with sexy underwear anymore, so I was going through my drawer trying to prove a point and realized he was right. All I own are bikini, and a few lacy pairs I literally never wear. and the worst thing is, I remember buying a pack recently, getting home and realizing it was the wrong size and too big and thinking F-it this way will be more comfortable.
@holly321 When I wear underpants, the grannier the better. MH is not a fan.
UO bc I didn’t see a a UO thread: I don’t like the projector Christmas lights. The only maybe exception is if you did a really good job on tea lights and added them in, too.
@jrm_14 I tried to use the logic that DH doesn't see me in my underwear, and he pointed out he had an issue with that too.
I have mixed feelings about the projector lights, we have them, but we have a ton of other lights too. I have seen them pointed up in trees, and I think that is really pretty. But in general, I think they are overdone, and I don't like them as a standalone light.
@holly321 I love comfy underwear, I’ve even got a few pairs of men’s boxers because they’re just so much more comfortable than women’s
Mine is that whenever I go shopping I always look in the kids section but so far have yet to buy anything, trying to bat off the craziness for as long as I can but I saw the cutest sleeping bag that I might have to go back for. Pics in spoiler if y’all wanna see
I was back and forth about adding this to my FFFC, since it is gross and a tmi, but DH also says I need to throw away all my underwear because a large amount have blood stains. But in my defense, TW, I bled for 12 solid weeks, at several points I was hemorrhaging. But, I am still terrified the bleeding will come back, so I haven't bought new because I am afraid I will ruin them.
@craftyG you have more will power than I. I have quite a few onesies hanging and an entire shelf of books and toys set up in our spare room. I guess that’s my FFFC.
@holly321@SkilledSailor Yeah I keep them too, like I try and soak them to get it out but at the end of the day they’re clean and if I’m okay with it then what does it matter to others haha
@jrm_14 I agree with @holly321 that the projector lights are pretty when they're directed at trees, but otherwise I don't really like them either. @CraftyG that sleeping bag is so cute! I definitely agree that you should go back and buy it.
I also have a whole stash of baby stuff just waiting patiently to be used.

I never buy baby stuff. I am not a big fan of a lot of gender neutral stuff, and I never buy gendered stuff, because who knows what the baby will be. If I saw a swing or something for a good deal, I would probably buy it, at the same time, I feel like I an jinxing myself. My mom was trying to get me to look at baby stuff at Target last night, she said to be hopeful for the future. I think I was bringing her down, I remember on the ride there whining about my old dried up eggs, how I am looking into supplements to improve them and how I will never be allowed to TTC again.
I guess my FFFC/UO is that we only have a projector light out front. That and a wreath are all I could manage to get up this year. We have other lights in various states of working, but being able to put a stake in the front lawn and be done was all I could muster. I’ll probably try to grab some more decorations the day after Christmas, like the blow up things or light up reindeer for similar ease in set up, but MH doesn’t care about decorating, so it all falls on me. Tree, house, presents, stockings, baking... I do what I can and this year, that’s all I can.

I am secretly relieved when plans don't work out to spend Christmas with the extended family. I'm so much happier (and less stressed) when it's DH and I.

@holly321 Why do men have to hate on stuff they don’t have to deal with? That is understandable why you keep them around. Sorry your mom was pushing you into looking at Target.
Count me in for not liking Love Actually.

I am here to tell you that it is way easier to lose/forget a tampon than one would think. And it happens to nice, clean, well-mannered women, educated women, too. Like me. For two weeks.
Yes, I was equally, if not more, horrified and disgusted than you likely are right now. #FFFC.
(you’re welcome, @offtoneverland for maintaining my random/odd FFFC’s)
@jrm_14 No judging but wow I am shocked as to how? I can totally understand a day or even a few but two weeks is just scary! Like my mind just goes straight to toxic shock syndrome
@craftyg No idea. No. Freaking. Idea. I remember thinking “oh, I guess I never put one back in after I showered” and putting in another one. I had an idea at about 1 week something was amiss, but I get a lot of yeast infections (due to immunosuppressant meds). The day I found it, I was going to call the dr about my symptoms because they weren’t getting better. Then, BAM.
As for me... I HATE A Christmas Story. Like, absolutely loathe that movie.

So I guess mine is that Love Actually is one of the very few romantic comedies/ chick flicks I can stand. And I also like A Christmas Story. And @jrm_14 been there. Not for two weeks, but yup.
@jrm_14, I don't generally use tampons, but I can see how you forget. Kind of like how you can forget you are wearing contacts. And, I didn't realize immunosuppressant drugs caused yeast infections, which I feel like I am getting, and I was just taking Prednisone...... @dpjennifer , I have never seen a Christmas Story, it looks stupid. @catlady2015 , I have cut almost my entire extended family out of my life, (some permanently and some I will see and be around occasionally) and it is amazing and holidays are so much bet@megd06 @josie12367 *hugs*. I feel like my FFFC should be that I love A Christmas Story and my many many Christmas decorations include an actual leg lamp (not full size but close), a leg lamp ornament, leg lamp string lights and a leg lamp night light.

I love Love actually it’s probably my favourite Christmas movie, the cast is amazing and Hugh Grant as prime minister makes me laugh so much. @josie12367@holly321 Big ol hugs to you guys! @holly321 it did make me laugh about them getting offended, like people can comment on your physical appearance but you shouldn’t dare mention your physical health haha! This week i am sending all the flames to doctors(?). I go to a practice with multiple doctors, and i don't go unless i am really, really sick. (which i am) And this guy seriously spent 5 minutes with me and sent me on my way with a useless antibiotic for a viral infection. Seriously? What if i was pregnant? (spoiler, i'm totally not, but shouldn't he have at least asked?) What if i have a pre-existing condition? (Spoiler, i DO, i have asthma). I wish i could get away with half-assing my job like that. (she says, as she whines to internet strangers on the bump while she's at work....)
@jrm_14 - same tampon horror story happened to me, when I was 19 I needed help from an OBGYN to remove it. It was so humiliating. Silver lining: I haven't done it since and I never will again!
@offtoneverland and @eleven_. What’s this about not liking Love Actually?! . @offtoneverland I was thinking that we have a lot of the same movie interests—I remember reading your post about loving HS Musical and Pitch Perfect and thinking, this girl is my long lost sister! Are you making plans to see #3?
AFM—I am feeling down about my PMS symptoms, so I may or may not have done some online retail therapy at Sephora. . I’m also debating buying a new outfit just to make myself feel better.
@lulu1180 - I live in NE Ohio, so I have no excuse, but i haven't gotten up there! I NEED to go! I almost did the Christmas Story 5k this year but got sick so I had to back out.
@dukestar5 I really just don't like that the actor who plays Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit is a porn star in Love Actually. lol. I want to picture him as a hobbit, not a porn star! yes, I'm hoping to see Pitch Perfect 3! Are you? Also, buy the outfit! Do it! And post a picture of what you're getting. @jrm_14 Thank you for posting an exciting FFFC today! I can almost always feel my tampons when they're in so I don't get how you could forget it, but no judgment here. Maybe that should be my FFFC...my tampons almost always go in crooked and I don't know what I'm doing wrong! @lulu1180 I've actually never seen A Christmas Story all the way through! @eleven_ Way to go on the car sex! (Couldn't resist posting a BBT gif with all the hate going on for that show today!)
@jrm_14 - this happened to my best friend too, she even HIO with it in and they didn't know. I asked her the same thing? How is that possible? I have to change mine every time I go to the bathroom. TMI*** I think I've been doing it wrong, apparently I'm not putting it in far enough. I was wondering how all these people could be wearing their tampons that long??
@galactickatesYup. Same boat as your friend. And I change mine every time I use the restroom, too. Like @offtoneverland, I always seem to get them in odd, so the ones that work best for me are smaller. I have no idea what happened. You can bet I account for every last one now, twice *TMI* I,like both of you, I’ve had difficulty with tampons before. I had to change positions I put them in as well as types like size and applicator vs non applicator.
@offtoneverland True! I completely forgot about that part! Not my favorite casting choice. And yes! For sure. It will probably be a girls' night event. (And re: the outfit--I will! I may go to the mall next week because I want to try a few things on instead of ordering online).
MH was drunk and tried to HIO once when I had a tampon in. “Just the tip, just the tip” I didn’t let him, but he was begging really admiring and pleasuring and I’d be lying if part of me thought oh yeah maybe just the tip.
