How many months have you been TTC? 2
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? CM and have been loosely tracking my cycle for a year. Just bought a BBT today so will start temping tomorrow.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I am a PROUD mama to one amazing daughter (ASD) who is 8 and my world. We just got a new puppy from our elf of the shelf (I was too impatient to wait for Santa to bring her) and she is the greatest thing ever. I graduate nursing school tomorrow (!!) and start working in January, so for the time being I parent, wife, and farm lady it up all day. I love reading, delicious food, earthy Cabernet, Jazz, gardening, my awesome tribe of mama/sister/warrior-women, and most importantly my family!!!
I’m new to TTC, but have been waiting for my husband to be ready for a year. I recently tested with a false BFP followed by AF the next day. Looking forward to this community and all that I will learn!
Re: Newbie Intro Thread 12/15
Sorry about the false BFP, what brand did you use? I had that happen to me in March when we first started TTC, and it was crushing. It was a first response, which now I will never trust again. TW, I too have at least one child on the spectrum. DS (almost 5) has a for sure diagnosis and DD (6) was recently reevaluated and I go next Friday for the results. Congratulations on graduating, and good luck with your new job, what type of nursing will you be doing?
We tried for 6 months last time - and I am a teacher so planning is important because I will have to miss school and so I am getting my IUD removed in January - Hoping to get preggers in July !
How many months have you been TTC? Started trying in September.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Currently on the bench until AF shows up, but I use OPKs and track my cycle.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) My H and I have been married almost 5 years and we have a 4 year old son that was born July 2013 and an 8 year old Vizsla. I just finished with classes for occupational therapy and will be starting full time fieldwork in January.
*TW* I got pregnant at the end of October but we found out a week ago at 9 weeks that I had had a MMC. I had a D&C on Tuesday and my doctor wants me to wait until AF returns for me to start trying again. *End TW*

How many months have you been TTC? Well five years total without success. I've been seeing an RE for 8 months and just completed my workup so this will be the start of a new era of TTC.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I'm tracking my cycles, LH surges and just now starting to track my CM and BBT. Of course we time intercourse around my most fertile days as DH has a lower than normal sperm count so we don't want to put any stress on that area.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) My husband and I are parents to two adorable furbabies. Mika is 9yo and is an american eskimo. Gypsie is 4 and is a mutt (they think she is a dauschaund/wired-hair terrier mix). No kids yet but we are very excited to start a human family. I have a younger sister who lives with me and she's like a child to my husband and I (she is 23). I always joke that she is giving us practice for raising teenagers lol.
Two Furbabies: Mika (american eskimo) and Gypsy (wire-haired terrier, dachshund mix)
Twins: Kaiden and Zara born 10/2018 conceived after 6 years of infertility via a medicated IUI
Ages (you and SO): Me: 31 DH: 33
How many months have you been TTC? This is the first month that I paid attention to timing, so I would count this as month one.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Im logging in fertility app. Taking prenantals and also taking extra B6 vitamins. Last time around the B6 seemed to necessary. It took 9 months and I had three, maybe 4, chemicals before taking B6 to try to lengthen my LP and that seemed to do the trick. This time around, in speaking with my Dr., if I have one chemical with the B6 then we'll also do progresterone. I'm hopeful that just the vitamins will be enough.

Well, where to start! My husband and I are parents to a little girl, A, who will be two at the end of January. She keeps us very busy. We also have an elderly Bichon I adopted after high school and a five year old standard poodle. The poodle retired from show dog life in May and we adopted him from his breeder/co-owners. He's gorgeous and has taken a while to get used to family life with a toddler, but is a great addition. I work as an attorney rep. Kids (newborn-21). I LOVE my job but it's emotionally wearing and hours are tough, so I might move on once we have a second. That's me in a nutshell!! I was on a different site for my first adventure of TTC and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone .
Ages (you and SO): we are both 30
How many months have you been TTC? 8
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Tracking CM for three months, added BBT for the last five months. I am starting to read a couple of books about the role of diet and hormone imbalances because I have concerns about my long and irregular cycles and am considering making some changes after the holidays (because cookies...wine....bread)
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I work in healthcare. I love to cook, bake, do yoga, and in the nice weather walk/hike with the dog. We are totally obsessed with our very very spoiled puppy.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Period tracking for a few years & HIO between Christmas prepping!
Tell us about yourself! Hi! By day I’m an occupational therapist who works primarily with kids, I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, C, who is spunky, sassy and all things sweet as well as a 2 year old Boxer dog who tries my patience daily, and a loving husband who puts up with my shenanigans daily! My husband and I met through an online dating site and within 3 months I knew I would marry him. We’ve been through a lot in our brief 3 year marriage including his stage 4 cancer diagnosis, treatment surgeries, and full remission, birth of our daughter, death of our first Boxer dog, and adoption of our second Boxer dog (8week old puppy + 8 month old baby... not recommended). So here we are coming up on 2 years since remission and we were just given the clearance from his medical team to begin trying for a second child.I first found the Bump when I was pregnant with C but was just a lurker on the June 15 BMB. I found so much solace in seeing woman experiencing the same things I was and really helped keep my nerves in check!
So happy to have found this group of supportive people. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and being a more active contributor this time around!
Ps: I can’t figure out how to tag people at the moment! But I read the above posts and will reply after I re-read the newbie post... *facepalm*
Edit: phone ate my post

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Period tracking, temping, & OPKs.
Tell us about yourself! Hello! My husband and I recently started trying for our second child. We have a daughter who will be four soon. Two cats round out the rest of our family. I work as a caregiver for adults with cognitive disabilities and would like to go back to school for nursing. I like hiking, baking, reading, and gaming. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.Ages (you and SO): me 25, SO 42
How many months have you been TTC? This is my 3rd month (pretty sure going on fourth - I tested yesterday because I wanted to have a few drinks and it was a BFN. May have been too early though)
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Monitoring CM, tracking my cycles. I get ovulation spotting so that helps me get an idea. After testing yesterday, I ordered some OPKs from Amazon so next month I'll start using those. I'm also being sure to eat extremely healthy and exercise (just not overdoing the exercise) and taking prenatals.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I am happily engaged to an amazing man. I don't have any kids (yet) but my SO has an 8 year old boy whom I adore. We are already doing the whole family and kid-oriented life so it makes it hard for me to not have my own child - especially seeing him experience the joys of parenting. I try my hardest not to, but I get jealous sometimes. I am very happy to be his soon-to-be stepmom though, and I love him so much. I have a great job in an office handling credit memos and returns for a growing distribution business. I will have my A.S. in Office Administration in the spring and then I am continuing for a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management. I am able to complete most of my schoolwork at work, thanks to my amazing and supportive boss. I'm a very happy and lucky person who appreciates the little things in life.
