My wtf to my husband sending me a pic of his flight attendant pouring him champagne on his business class flight to Dubai (work trip) right after I had just dealt with a diaper blowout with DS.
Well I feel better about today. The first co-worker who flipped out on me realized that she had made a mistake (she thought the situation was my fault, but it was lack of reading her email), and apologized to me.
The second guy ended up being an epic situation. Since I had asked my manager to double-check my email, she got irritated on my behalf and reached out to his manager. His manager called me personally and apologized profusely and promised it wouldn't happen again. He even let slip that the guy was already on notice for similar blowups at other people, and one was even an HR complaint. I felt a lot better after that, because I pride myself on professional communication, and the situation hit a tender spot.
Internet was spotty last night at home, so I’m late. Mine was a few coworkers. I’m responsible for putting up the Christmas tree at work. It’s stored off site, and I have to request someone to bring it to our unit. It’s not been brought to us yet. 2 gals were getting worked up because it’s so ‘not Christmas-y.’ I got pissed because our unit adopted a Christmas family (family who is verified to be in tough financial situation) with 3 kids, and only 3 gifts have been brought in for us to give them. Last year we gave a TON to the family (each year is a different family). To me, Christmas is about giving, helping people who need some help- not a tree. I was just disappointed I guess.

@okayrunner - I would be so pissed. I hate it when things like that happen. I always love the awkward reveal at the end.
