GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness? (Feel free to respond however you wish--funny, serious, etc).
R/R: Rant: Ugh CD1. I'm not even that upset it means I'm not KU. My cramps are just so bad they disrupt my day and I got sh*t to do. Rave: Just 5 more hours till we meet with the RE and get our game plan together!
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: He'd say both my greatest strength and my greatest weakness is that my "moral compass points due north". He says he loves that about me but my honesty sometimes hurts me. Example: I was honest about our current dog's history of anxiety and because of that the dog rescue we're going through has passed us over for the past three dogs we applied for.
@dukestar5 Hey! We're finally in a daily together! I mean, I'm obviously sad we're both back in WTO but you get what I meant.
@kiwi2628 Tenacity probably would have been in DH's top 5 best/worst for me as well. I feel like it helps a lot but I can see the downside.
@kiwi2628 Do you always get Wednesdays off? I love having weekdays off - makes running errands so much more pleasant!

WAYDTGKU: All the acronyms
R/R: Tonight DH is staying home from Toastmasters so we can work on his resume and send it out to apply for a role in my hometown! My parents and brother still live there - it's a small town (around 8,000 people) and about 8 hours from where we are now. We live in a big city currently and have talked about moving away a ton over the years but are feeling it might be the right time finally. The vibe there is so much more relaxed and because property is so ridiculously inflated here (and has increased so much since we bought 7 years ago) we have enough equity in our home that we could be mortgage free or close to in the country, and have a small acreage so we could start a hobby farm! The biggest downside of moving is I wouldn't be able to move into the E.D. role in my organization so would be giving up my career.
CS/Q: Had a bit of a temp spike this morning but I think it was more due to the fact that I didn't get any solid 3 hour chunks of sleep rather than the possibility of O having occurred. We'll see tomorrow I guess. I can't insert my chart (or any other picture) from my computer right now and it's driving me bonkers!
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness? (Feel free to respond however you wish--funny, serious, etc) Oh jeez, strength would probably be my memory - I recall even tiny details pretty precisely and his memory sucks so he is always amazed how I can remember everything (which doesn't always work in his favour). I think he's also pretty impressed with my intelligence. For weakness definitely my mood swings/emotional instability when I am tired of hungry - I am not a pleasant person to be around when I haven't slept or eaten!
@kiwi2628 I can relate to your gtky answer! Do you ever listen to the Beat Infertility podcast? There was one episode where the guest interviewed (RE) said that one of the most important things on this TTC journey is the ability to persevere. So keep going, lady! @SkilledSailor I'm sorry for CD1 (blah), but I am so excited to be on the same thread with you. I feel like there a few of us that all started around the same time on this board, and I get lonely when I'm on the opposite thread from you all. haha GL with the RE visit today! Is this an RE you've met with before? @elothair So exciting for YH! DO you think the benefits outweigh the concern with moving up in your organization? (Is there potential to work from home in your current role if you all moved)?

R/R: (Rave) Went for a 6 mile run with my running buddy! Great way to start the day. Also, @nitnat007 inspired me to make a pot roast today in the slow cooker.
CS/Q: Has anyone tried grapefruit juice to increase CM? (I have cm each cycle, but rarely ewcm. I feel like I've tried all of the usual suggestions--increasing water intake, green tea, EPO, mucinex--but to little effect). If anyone has any other amazing ideas, I am all ears!
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness? (Feel free to respond however you wish--funny, serious, etc). Strength: My determination and discipline, and probably also my love/encouragement for others Weakness: DH says I'm too indecisive
@SkilledSailor GL at the RE today! @elothair yea, Wednesdays and Sundays off every week. Its sometimes sad/annoying not to have 2 days off in a row, but I love having a work-day off every week. It makes life so easy, especially since its mid-week.
R/R: (Rave) Going to spin class at lunch and work is pretty slow right now so I'm getting a lot of online Christmas shopping done.
CS/Q: None right now.
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness?
DH would probably say my greatest strength is my support for others. He's finishing his bachelors degree online and I've definitely had to keep him from quitting a couple of times when h'es gotten frustrated. My weakness would definitely be the way I keep things that bother me bottled up until I finally get upset and take it out on him. Also, I never recognize movie quotes and it drives him crazy.
Month/Cycle: 5/3 CD: 12 WAYDTGKU: All of it R/R: I lost my prep, so no peeing between 11:15 and 2:30 for me! DH and I booked a hotel for the weekend. I should be looking forward to the king sized bed and the doing it, but I'm most excited that the hotel's restaurant is on the waterfront. I plan to sit there Saturday morning in comfy clothes, sipping tea and reading from my Agatha Christie anthology. CS/Q: None. Consistently forgetting to do my OPKs, like a champ. You would think after how many HPTs I've peed on, peeing on things would be the easiest part to remember GTKY: Strength would be either my patience or my work ethic- he always talks about how he loves that I built myself up on my own, with no one helping me. Weakness is that I'm overly emotional.
@SkilledSailor good luck with the RE! @elothair DH and I have been discussing leaving the city too. I've never lived anywhere else, but your hometown sounds nice and relaxing. @dukestar5 I've only tried green tea (moderate success for me) for increasing my CM. I have noticed I have less on the Clomid, but I don't think I've O'd yet, so I'll see how my cycle progresses.

@SkilledSailor, GL with the RE today and coming up with a game plan! Let us know how it goes!
@elothair, that sounds like an exciting opportunity for your husband, though it’s too bad it would force you to make some sacrifices career-wise. Being close to family is definitely something I value more and more as I get older, though.
@dukestar5, I’m glad you got a good run in this morning!
@jsnakehole, GL remembering the OPKs! I hate that feeling when I remember just slightly too late, lol.

WAYDTGKU: The usual things and waiting for our infertility consult with the RE on Thursday
R/R: Jumping back in here after a bit of a break...I figured that in between the end of Cycle 12 and our first RE appointment was a good time to step back from focusing so much on TTC for a bit. I missed you all, though!
CS/Q: Nope!
GTKY: I think he’d say my greatest strength is my compassion and willingness to be patient with people. Greatest weakness is probably obsessing about details he doesn’t think are important. And possibly my addiction to throw blankets.
@dukestar5 If I move, I could't move into the E.D. role as that person does need to be here in the city as that is where all the government people we work with are. I could likely stay on in a contractor role doing a similar job to what I do now. Still trying to figure out if the benefit outweighs the downside - I think it probably does but I am hesitant and I also feel guilty leaving my organization hanging. I need to start running again - I have been so lazy since me and DH did our last race at the beginning of October! I am interested to hear how the roast turns out, let me know! @melbel0824 I love when work is slow and I can knock off personal stuff (which I am doing right now I guess, lol!) @jsnakehole Your weekend sounds like it will be amazing!! I am jealous - we haven't been away overnight on our own in ages!! @Augusta108 DHs family is close to us now but they don't offer a ton of support and have a lot going on in their own lives so outside of a few dinners here and there we don't see a ton of them. Definitely being in the same town as my parents is a huge huge pro of moving for us - and I agree, the older the get the more aware I am of how valuable my time with family is.
@SkilledSailor yay for a game plan!!! @kiwi2628 I’m jealous for your weekday off! I love having a M-F job but every now and then I’d like a day off during the week to get stuff done. @elothair I live in a town smaller than 8000 and we love it. I had the chance to move a couple of times for work to big cities and my answer is always “NOPE” @dukestar5 I’m jealous of your run, I need to get back into it, but the weather here is so discouraging. CS/Q: nope, temping has not been consistent so we’ll call this month a trial run.
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness? (Feel free to respond however you wish--funny, serious, etc).
Strength - my work ethic/intelligence weakness - definitely my patience, I need some, like now
@kiwi2628 Yay for a day off tomorrow! @SkilledSailor@dukestar5 When was the last time the three of us were all on a daily together? Clearly we need to celebrate. @SkilledSailor Sorry for cd1 cramps. Such a bummer. I can't wait to hear how the RE appointment goes! Fx for a good path forward. @elothair Sounds like you and YH have a big decision to make about moving! @melbel0824 I don't think I've 'met' you yet, so hi there! It's always fun to get Christmas shopping done at work. @jsnakehole It's hard to remember to pee on opks! I always intend to start a couple of days sooner than I do, but then I forget. @Augusta108 Good to see you! Will the appointment Thursday be your first time meeting with the RE? WAYDTGKU: another medicated IUI cycle
R/R: I didn't want to bump up yesterday's TWW thread, so hopefully all of you
amazing, supportive ladies are lurking here. Your support
yesterday means the world to me. MH and I got Mexican food and cookies and binged on episodes of classic Doctor Who, and I cried a lot. I didn't expect my 9th month of BFNs to hit this hard, but the IUI really raised our hopes. After I post I'm going to get on the phone to the RE's office to change doctors and figure out if they want me to use the same protocol this month as last, then order my drugs. I also want MH to get another SA, so I'm going to insist on that with the RE. Overall, I'm doing ok today. I had acupuncture this morning, and that helped me calm down some. Again, thank you all so much for the support. It helps a LOT.
CS/Q: Nothing going on here yet.
GTKY:
What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What
would your DH/SO say is your weakness? (Feel free to respond however

@darkstar42, I’m glad you’re doing as okay as you can be today and have found some things to help with the stress. I hope your call to switch doctors and get some of the next steps started goes smoothly! *hugs* Our appointment Thursday is our first with the RE and we haven’t started any testing yet...I had an appointment with my OBGYN last month but he felt we were close enough to the year mark that it made most sense for us to wait and do all our testing with the RE rather than starting it with him.
@nmbrcrnchr1 I'm thankful MH doesn't work out on town often but it totally seems like my work trips always want to line up with my FW....so annoying! Hopefully he gets back before yours is over!
@darkstar42 I'm glad you took the night to cry and grieve - I definitely understand why it would be harder than a typical month because of the IUI. I hope you can move forward with a new RE and get some positive outcomes soon.
Hellloooooo ladies! Still floating about. Hope you all have a lovely day!
@kiwi2628 Hooray for no rants! Have a great day off tomorrow!
@skilledsailor Sorry about CD1. I hope your cramps get better! Ooo, I hope your appt goes great! Be sure to update us
@elothair Cool! That sounds great for YH, but how do you feel about the possibility of having to give up your career?
@dukestar5 Hai frand!!!! Good job on the 6 miles run!
@melbel0824 That's good getting a start on Christmas shopping! I hope to get a chunk finished on Friday
@jsnakehole Oh no! Hope you remembered to use the restroom early! Yay, have fun lounging at the hotel! Sounds like a great plan for the weekend
@augusta108 Yay, I hope your consult Thursday goes great! My biggest trouble when I take breaks is that I miss everyone
@nmbrcrnchr1 That's frustrating that YH is out of town during FW Darn it!

@lurvleybunchococonuts I am really on the fence about it. On the one hand I’m not sure I actually want the pressure of being at the top but I feel like it’s an important role and I worry about the longevity of my organization if I don’t step into that role as I am the only one who isn’t going to be retiring in the next 5ish years and it’s a very niche position so wouldn’t be easily filled externally. But I also would love to be closer to my family and raise my own family away from the city, and the more laid back pace of life is so appealing. I’m super conflicted about it which is why we haven’t made the move already!
@kiwi2628 yay for a day off. @SkilledSailor sorry for CD1, but I hope the RE helps you with a plan. I look forward to hearing about it, i always learn so much. @elothair that's exciting with the possibility for a move. I'm jealous of people who live near family. I still think maybe we'll move back near family if we have kids but who knows. Do you have a pretty green thumb? @dukestar5 oh potroast--that does sounds good. maybe tomorrow i can do that. great idea @nitnat007 . I can't stand indecisiveness--drives me crazy and i swear it makes me look bossy when the reality is i just want an answer. @melbel0824 did you find any good deals online? I did some last night before cyber Monday ended. i got new blinds for our bedroom and a gift for MH. @jsnakehole your weekend sounds amazing. i'm already looking forward to it for you @Augusta108 nice to see you! ha--i love throw blankets! @nmbrcrnchr1 oh i hate when work trips get in the way. hope he comes back in time to get a couple chances in. @darkstar42 sounds like you have a great plan for this upcoming cycle. I'm so glad you had some acupuncture this morning, i'm sure that helped a lot. @lurvleybunchococonuts hi! any fun plans for the week? we surprisingly have sun today so i was hoping to get outside, but i'm pretty sure i'll miss the sunset since i've spent so much time on the TB today and now i have to get some work done!
Cycle: 17

WAYDTGKU: reducing caffeine, PNV, BBT
R/R: I'm so tired lately. I woke up this morning at 6:12 (haven't moved my alarm back to 5:45 after vacation yet...) and i thought it was 3:12 at first and though that made so much more sense because i was so tired--nevertheless i got up, walked the dog showered and went back to bed for 30 more minutes. #totallyworthit RAVE: MH and I have been connecting so well lately, i'm just feeling so happy with our relationship right now. There are always stresses but overall i'm just so happy.
CS/Q: 2 dots!
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness? I have a lot of passion and am very authentic; in the same breath i'm all emotions all the time and he hates emotions.
kiwi2628 I used to work Sunday-Thursday and have Fridays off and it was always amazing. I'm working from home tomorrow, which is basically like a day off because I can only do online training at home. @SkilledSailor I feel like I always opt for too much honesty in those kinds of situations too, but it sucks you keep getting passed over for potential dogs. @elothair making the decision to move is such a big deal. Especially if it means a huge change in career. Good luck! @dukestar5 Pot roast sounds delicious! I've been giving my crockpot quite the workout lately because it's so easy. @numbrcrnchr1 I love when I get to make all the television decisions and can watch whatever trashy shows I want. @darkstar42 Hi! I'm sorry about the IUI. I lurked last month before joining the boards starting this cycle and I wanted all good things for the ladies here. Even though I hadn't 'met' any of them yet. @blackhottamales Yesterday I bought 5 things at Old Navy for $50. Two things for me and three gifts. Haha. But it seems like most places extended their sales so I'm still adding things to my carts all over the internet.
@darkstar42 glad you and DH were able to lean on each other yesterday. I hope the new dr provides you the information and help you need. Also, I think it’s amazing how this community is so supportive. It makes me happy I decided to be apart of it
as for your question...last night was Survivor and Teen Mom 2 lol ...tonight will be Grey’s and Scandal. Don’t get me wrong I miss DH when he’s gone (esp during FW) but I love watching what I want!
@elothair Man, that is a tough decision. Are there no similar jobs near your hometown?
@dukestar5 This is an RE we've met with once before. This was our follow up after our testing. She's not the one that performed my HSG though. Sounds like you had a good day!
@jsnakehole Oh your Saturday morning plans sound amazing! I guess getting to HIO in a king sounds cool too.
@augusta108 Missed you too! Have you had your RE appointment?
@nmbrcrnchr1 Will your SO make it back in time for FW?
@darkstar42@dukestar5 Yas! Obviously sucks we're all still here but finally being in the same daily has me like..
@darkstar42 Can you remind me why you're switching doctors?
I'm just copying and pasting my update from the IF thread. But here it is: AFM, the RE consult went ok. She's not convinced my tube is an issue and said she won't be convinced until we hit 12 cycles of trying. The RE who performed my HSG was convinced it's an issue, which she did admit. She's also not concerned about H's morph because in their practice it doesn't seem to have a huge impact on outcomes. However, she didn't see the harm in me starting a low dose of clomid to try to boost our chances of ovulating from the right side. We'll do that for three months then start monitored IUIs, cancelling if we only see follicles on the left side. Then IVF. So we'd be starting IUIs late February rather than January like I had thought. But we're kinda doing something in the meantime when I thought we'd just be twiddling our thumbs until January.
@dukestar5@skilledsailor count me in to feeling lonely when I’m in the opposite thread as a few of us who joined around the same time! @darkstar42 and I intro’d the same week. @SkilledSailor sorry for the cramps. I saw your RE update. (Hugs) FX the clomid helps. @darkstar42 I am glad to hear YH has been supportive, as you both feel the let down of this cycle. So. Many. Hugs. @Augusta108 Glad you’re back! @lurvleybunchococonuts Hi @blackhottamales Did you get some time in the sun in? @elothair Wishing you peace in your decisions. @nmbrcrnchr1 FX you still get good timing in!
@SkilledSailor All. The. Feelings. It was the first visit with the doctor. Pretty upset the dr I saw before her dismissed a few things that should have sent us straight on to RE apparently.
@SkilledSailor Glad you got some kind of plan in place. A bit if conflicting info though huh? I hate how much difference there is between two different doctors. Sometimes it's like night and day.
@jrm_14 What happened?! I'm sorry the appointment didn't go well
ETA: Banana slice earrings I mentioned yesterday in spoiler...AW my snacks....Lol
@josie12367 Yes! I think our RE is hung up on us not having tried for a full year yet. I can't tell you how many time's she's mentioned that between our two consults. But whatever. My cycles have been so short lately we'll hit 12 cycles nearly two months before we'll hit a full year. She said the clomid should prevent my current ovulation pattern too, which is good. I've been O'ing a day or two earlier than the month before for the past 5 months. If it stayed on track I'd be O'd on CD 8 or 9 by January.
@lurvleybunchococonuts I would like you to know that when I’m
typing up tags in a different doc to copy & paste to the bump, your name
always trips me up. I have to check how to spell it EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Thank
you so much for all the support. Things are moving forward with the new RE.
@blackhottamales The acupuncture really did help! I’m so
grateful that I’m able to go regularly. It’s a splurge for us, but well worth
it. I love hearing how well your relationship is going right now! That’s such a
wonderful feeling. Glad you are happy.
@melbel0824 Thanks! I was the same way when I was lurking.
@nmbrcrnchr1 Your TV night sounds like fun. This
community really is awesome. I don’t know how I’d be surviving without all of
you ladies at this point!
@SkilledSailor I’m switching doctors (but staying at the
same clinic) because the first guy was so impersonal and really made me feel
like just a number. He didn’t explain things well and didn’t make us feel
included in the decision-making process about treatment options. I talked to
the new doc today and she said exactly the same thing as your doc when it comes
to morphology. She did acknowledge that the research on the topic is mixed
though. I’m glad that your RE is starting medicated cycles! Any reason for
clomid over letrozole/femara?
@jrm_14@SkilledSailor@dukestar5 Even though it’s a bummer
we’re all still here, I do love having a group of us who’ve been going through all
of this together.
@jrm_14 Thank you so much for all the support. MH really has been awesome, and I’m grateful for that.
AFM, I talked to the clinic and switched doctors! The new
doctor called me up personally and spent about 25 minutes on the phone talking
through all my lab results (unlike doctor #1 who basically said the bw didn’t
matter) and going through the IUI cycle step by step. She basically said I
responded really well to the drugs, so she’ll use the same protocol for the
next cycle, and the lack of pregnancy was likely just crappy luck. She was very
hopeful for the next cycle. I’m feeling a lot better after that conversation. I
felt listened to and she answered my questions fully and didn’t dismiss my
concerns. We’ll be getting another SA for MH as well, so that’s good.
@jrm_14 Saw the update...I'm so sorry. So frustrating.
@SkilledSailor I hate when providers get hung up about the year thing when you have issues going on. Plus you've had lots of cycles in that time frame. Your reason for being in her office is valid and she just needs to get over it.
@darkstar42 Lovely update! So glad you're with a doctor you can communicate better with. Any doctor who blows off your concerns is not going to work in your best interests, so I'm glad you have a new one that is treating you like you're part of the team. So happy you're feeling a little better and have a plan in place
@darkstar42 Yay! So glad the new RE is already better! I honestly didn't ask why clomid over others. She mentioned low dose clomid because I am ovulating regularly and this will keep me from ovulating early.
@kiwi2628 I totally relate to your GTKY. I'm the same way too. Enjoy your day off tomorrow! @SkilledSailor I'm glad to hear your appointment went fairly well and that you get to start some meds soon. @elothair And I thought I had a huge decision to make about my job! That's such a big decision you and YH have to make. I hope you can talk it out and figure out what the best option is. That's a hard choice since you would have to give up your career. Are there some good career options for you where you'd be moving to? @dukestar5 I have no idea about increasing CM. But I'm curious if you guys ever use preseed? I've never tried it but maybe it would help you? @melbel0824 Yay for online shopping! I need to start looking into that myself. I bought a few things for DH and my sister, but that's it so far. @Augusta108 Welcome back! I missed you, but understand you needing a break. I hope you've been feeling okay the past few weeks. I hope your RE appointment goes well and you get a plan in place! @nmbrcrnchr1 Sorry your SO is away but yay for some lazy TV nights! Sounds like you have a great list of TV shows going. @darkstar42 I'm so glad you were able to cry and get out your frustrations last night. That's wonderful that you were able to eat good food and relax with YH. Also YAY! for being able to switch to a new RE. So happy to hear that the new one explained everything better and was much more personable. @blackhottamales What gift did you find for YH? Men are sooooo hard to shop for and I have no idea what to get for MH. That's excellent that you've been feeling so connected to YH recently. I love it when that happens! Have you guys been doing any specific lately to get better connected, or is it just general stuff? @jrm_14 So sorry to see your update and hear that you should have been pushed to go the RE sooner. Happy to hear you have an appointment scheduled though. I'll be anxiously awaiting your update in 2 weeks!

Once I decide I want to do something, I can't stop thinking about it until it's done! Sometimes it's good, but other times I get way too controlling.
@offtoneverland I got him a new timbuk2 luggage bag. It was 60% off and we love their products. We aren’t doing anything special honestly I think it’s because we still have my cousin living with us and anything that’s annoying me I blame on her.
Month/Cycle: 8/7 (1 benched)
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, clomid CD5-9, starting opks & hio
Strength: My determination and discipline, and probably also my love/encouragement for others
Weakness: DH says I'm too indecisive
@elothair yea, Wednesdays and Sundays off every week. Its sometimes sad/annoying not to have 2 days off in a row, but I love having a work-day off every week. It makes life so easy, especially since its mid-week.
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: PNVs and HIO
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: All of it
R/R: I lost my prep, so no peeing between 11:15 and 2:30 for me!
You would think after how many HPTs I've peed on, peeing on things would be the easiest part to remember
GTKY: Strength would be either my patience or my work ethic- he always talks about how he loves that I built myself up on my own, with no one helping me. Weakness is that I'm overly emotional.
@kiwi2628 glad you're having a good day!
Married: 6/2016
TTC #1: 12/2016
Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
Month/Cycle: 12/13
CD: 17
WAYDTGKU: The usual things and waiting for our infertility consult with the RE on Thursday
R/R: Jumping back in here after a bit of a break...I figured that in between the end of Cycle 12 and our first RE appointment was a good time to step back from focusing so much on TTC for a bit. I missed you all, though!
CS/Q: Nope!
GTKY: I think he’d say my greatest strength is my compassion and willingness to be patient with people. Greatest weakness is probably obsessing about details he doesn’t think are important. And possibly my addiction to throw blankets.
@melbel0824 I love when work is slow and I can knock off personal stuff (which I am doing right now I guess, lol!)
@jsnakehole Your weekend sounds like it will be amazing!!
@kiwi2628 I’m jealous for your weekday off! I love having a M-F job but every now and then I’d like a day off during the week to get stuff done.
@elothair I live in a town smaller than 8000 and we love it. I had the chance to move a couple of times for work to big cities and my answer is always “NOPE”
@dukestar5 I’m jealous of your run, I need to get back into it, but the weather here is so discouraging. I’m a fair weather runner
@jsnakehole sounds like a great way to soget nd a Saturday morning.
@Augusta108 sorry you’re back here, but welcome back
Month/Cycle: 3/4
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: HIO, PNV, OPK,
R/R: it’s only Tuesday, SO is working out of town (of course bc it’s FW!!) I swear we need to plan our work trips better. I stayed up way too late catching up on my shows since he was gone and now I need a nap.
CS/Q: nope, temping has not been consistent so we’ll call this month a trial run.
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness? (Feel free to respond however you wish--funny, serious, etc).
Strength - my work ethic/intelligence
weakness - definitely my patience, I need some, like now
@SkilledSailor Oh man, sorry for CD1. But thinking of you today. GL with the RE appointment.
@dukestar5 I love my pot roast. Hope it is yummy!
@Augusta108 Hey gurl!! Welcome back. We missed you!!
@jsnakehole Have a blast this weekend with YH!!
@SkilledSailor @dukestar5 When was the last time the three of us were all on a daily together?
Forgive me for forgetting, but have you already had labwork/tests done?
@nmbrcrnchr1 What shows were you catching up on?

Month/Cycle: 9/9 (or 10? but AF isn't here yet)
CD: Doesn't matter, just WFAF now
WAYDTGKU: another medicated IUI cycle
R/R: I didn't want to bump up yesterday's TWW thread, so hopefully all of you amazing, supportive ladies are lurking here. Your support yesterday means the world to me.
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness? (Feel free to respond however you wish--funny, serious, etc).
Strength - sense of humor and intelligence
Weakness - I really need to feel in control of things. Which is making things extra hard with ttc and unexplained IF.
@darkstar42 I'm glad you took the night to cry and grieve - I definitely understand why it would be harder than a typical month because of the IUI. I hope you can move forward with a new RE and get some positive outcomes soon.
@kiwi2628 Hooray for no rants! Have a great day off tomorrow!

@jsnakehole your weekend sounds amazing. i'm already looking forward to it for you
@Augusta108 nice to see you! ha--i love throw blankets!
Cycle: 17
CD: 7 (i usually don't O until CD20 so these first couple weeks always feel so slow)
Haha. But it seems like most places extended their sales so I'm still adding things to my carts all over the internet.
as for your question...last night was Survivor and Teen Mom 2 lol ...tonight will be Grey’s and Scandal. Don’t get me wrong I miss DH when he’s gone (esp during FW) but I love watching what I want!
@darkstar42 @dukestar5 Yas! Obviously sucks we're all still here but finally being in the same daily has me like..
@darkstar42 Can you remind me why you're switching doctors?
@lurvleybunchococonuts Hi! How're you doing this week?
@blackhottamales Aw so glad you and your H are doing so well.
I'm just copying and pasting my update from the IF thread. But here it is:
AFM, the RE consult went ok.
@SkilledSailor sorry for the cramps. I saw your RE update. (Hugs) FX the clomid helps.
@darkstar42 I am glad to hear YH has been supportive, as you both feel the let down of this cycle. So. Many. Hugs.
@Augusta108 Glad you’re back!
@lurvleybunchococonuts Hi
@blackhottamales Did you get some time in the sun in?
@elothair Wishing you peace in your decisions.
@nmbrcrnchr1 FX you still get good timing in!
@Augusta108 Switching doctors went so well! It totally makes sense to do your testing with the RE. They’re the specialists, after all!
@elothair Thank you.
@lurvleybunchococonuts I would like you to know that when I’m typing up tags in a different doc to copy & paste to the bump, your name always trips me up. I have to check how to spell it EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Thank you so much for all the support. Things are moving forward with the new RE.
@blackhottamales The acupuncture really did help! I’m so grateful that I’m able to go regularly. It’s a splurge for us, but well worth it. I love hearing how well your relationship is going right now! That’s such a wonderful feeling. Glad you are happy.
@melbel0824 Thanks! I was the same way when I was lurking.
@nmbrcrnchr1 Your TV night sounds like fun. This community really is awesome. I don’t know how I’d be surviving without all of you ladies at this point!
@SkilledSailor I’m switching doctors (but staying at the same clinic) because the first guy was so impersonal and really made me feel like just a number. He didn’t explain things well and didn’t make us feel included in the decision-making process about treatment options. I talked to the new doc today and she said exactly the same thing as your doc when it comes to morphology. She did acknowledge that the research on the topic is mixed though. I’m glad that your RE is starting medicated cycles! Any reason for clomid over letrozole/femara?
@jrm_14 @SkilledSailor @dukestar5 Even though it’s a bummer we’re all still here, I do love having a group of us who’ve been going through all of this together.
@jrm_14 Thank you so much for all the support. MH really has been awesome, and I’m grateful for that.
AFM, I talked to the clinic and switched doctors! The new doctor called me up personally and spent about 25 minutes on the phone talking through all my lab results (unlike doctor #1 who basically said the bw didn’t matter) and going through the IUI cycle step by step. She basically said I responded really well to the drugs, so she’ll use the same protocol for the next cycle, and the lack of pregnancy was likely just crappy luck. She was very hopeful for the next cycle. I’m feeling a lot better after that conversation. I felt listened to and she answered my questions fully and didn’t dismiss my concerns. We’ll be getting another SA for MH as well, so that’s good.
@SkilledSailor I hate when providers get hung up about the year thing when you have issues going on. Plus you've had lots of cycles in that time frame. Your reason for being in her office is valid and she just needs to get over it.
@darkstar42 Yay! So glad the new RE is already better! I honestly didn't ask why clomid over others. She mentioned low dose clomid because I am ovulating regularly and this will keep me from ovulating early.
@jrm_14 You've got a PM in a minute.

WAYDTGKU: Just waiting for FW...
R/R: Pretty busy day at work today, which was great because it went by quickly! I decided to take that 6 month temporary position I mentioned yesterday. I'm still waiting to hear back that I definitely got the position and then I need to talk it through with my boss to see if she'll release me. I'm excited!
GTKY: What would your DH/SO say is your greatest strength/attribute? What would your DH/SO say is your weakness?
Greatest strength: I'm really good at planning and remembering things. I take care of all the appointments and bills because DH never remembers! Greatest weakness: He'd probably say that I tend to get obsessive about things when I put my mind on it. Once I decide I want to do something, I can't stop thinking about it until it's done! Sometimes it's good, but other times I get way too controlling.
