Miscarriage confusion

We went for our 11 week check up to hear the heartbeat for the first time when the doctor couldn’t find one. She then did and u/s sound which she didn’t find anything either and had me get a transvaginal one done. Which once again showed nothing.  I had minimal bleeding and cramping at 7 weeks which they said was completely normal and it was just the placenta attaching. The doctor said at some point it looks like my body just absorbed the pregnancy has anyone else had this happen. I’m so confused it’s like it just went poof, gone!

    Sorry for your loss. MC is very common and happens for a variety of reasons. 

    MC #1: D&C Oct 23, 2015 (7.5 weeks)
    MC #2: July 1, 2016 (5.5 weeks)
    MC #3: October 17, 2016 (CP)
    RE #1: RPL testing November 2016-January 2017
    MC #4: Feb. 28, 2017 (CP)
    RE #2: Additional RPL testing March-November 2017
    MC #5: January 2019 (6.5 weeks)

    RE #3: More testing 2023. 
    Egg Retrieval Sept/Oct 2023, 2 good embryos after PGT-A testing.
    Surgery for endometriosis January 2024
    Lupron Depo March 2024.  Benched 3 months.  Hopefully FET after that.

    Thank you, and yes unfortunately we were told 40% of pregnancies end in MC. Just having a hard time with the fact I didn’t miscarry by passing anything.

    It's gotta be hard to emotionally deal with a MC if you don't ever pass anything. :(  Sorry you're dealing with that!

    MC #1: D&C Oct 23, 2015 (7.5 weeks)

    MC #3: October 17, 2016 (CP)
    RE #1: RPL testing November 2016-January 2017
