Is a virgin margarita gross since its just mix? Is there anything else you could mix it with. I would love one so bad. The lime taste and salt sounds amazing.
@charlestonchew I never make margaritas with mix. They’re so much better the “authentic” way - fresh squeezed lime juice, agave, tequila, cointreau, and salt. Throw in a shaker with ice. You’d probably have to add something to replace the tequila and triple sec and to cut the acidity, like club soda or seltzer, but I think you’d get the feeling of a margarita.

That's too much work for me haha. I've always just had it with mix. Maybe we'll head out to a restaurant with a bar and see if they can make me a virgin one or not. Salty acidic things sounds amazing.
@lincbeesmom A sangria sounds amazing, too... this is torturous.
@charlestonchew yeah. I guess she thought I was joking? I dunno. I ended up just getting a virgin pina colada instead so I can't tell you how the mix is on it's own

Virgin ceaser
And if you add lime and some basil or mint to it, it's like a moscow mule
@charlestonchew I ordered a virgin margarita once and the waitress literally laughed at me.
