R/R: rant - one more day of errands/work on the house. Rave - one more day of errands/work on the house!!! So glad that we are so close to being done. After this my uncle will be in charge of when the auctioneer will come by and pick everything up.
CS/Q: temps are still up so can't complain.
GTKY: What is your favorite thanksgiving food recipe?
my aunt has an amazing mashed sweet potato casserole recipe that is soooo good. We add a streusel on top with brown sugar, nuts and coconut flakes. The recipe calls for a ton of butter, but as a once-a-year dish I don't care. Soooo tasty.
Testing: BFN yesterday and today! Not surprised, but satisfied my pee on a stick urge. MH was like, uh, aren't those expensive, why would you take them this early? and I was like, WE SPEND LIKE $100 ON BEER A MONTH WE CAN SPEND $13 ON PREGNANCY TESTS.
R/R: Rant: I'm not one of the magical success stories that gets BFPs on DPO 8 or 9, so that's annoying. Rave: today is book buying day!!!
CS/Q: Meh. Temps still up and at this point officially higher than usual at this point in TWW. Usually I have been progressively omw down at this point, so I'm choosing to hold out hope despite waking up every mornign with bloat and tummy wonk.
GTKY: What is your favorite thanksgiving food recipe? GB casserole! And if we do ham, I like looking for a good glaze to cook with.
@SmashJam ugh those super early success stories drive me crazy. Mostly because I'm like "oh this is totally possible". Then I freak out if I don't have implantation bleeding because I clearly should be part of the 1/3 of women who gets it. However, when I think about it it's mostly likely women on their 2nd + pregnancies who had a vaginal birth the first time so their cervix may not fully close. Also major noms to GB casserole.
@SmashJam I'm sorry bout another early BFN, but I think it's still early and your temps are still up!
@nimmle girl you have some serious self control waiting until 11 DPO! Yummy mashed sweet potato casserole!

Testing: I wanted to test so badly this AM, but DH talked it over last night about the pros and cons of testing early, and under his advice I am waiting until tomorrow.
R/R: Rave: I'm getting my hair done today after work. Yay! Rant: Not really any rants today actually.
CS/Q: No questions, just observations. My chart is looking triphasic to me, but I realize this could mean nothing. I am still crampy, although not as bad. No PMS symptoms, BB's are not sore, and no spotting. Kind of conflicting observations, right?
GTKY: What is your favorite thanksgiving food recipe? I love pumpkin cheesecake!

R/R: I got my blood test results back yesterday and everything is normal. They ran LH, FSH, testosterone, thyroid and A1C tests.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite thanksgiving food recipe? I really like corn casserole and mashed potatoes (the “secret” ingredient in my mom’s recipe is cream cheese.
@nimmle. Yum! Anything with sweet potatoes is awesome in my book. @SmashJam. Haha I like your reasoning with buying tests. So true! AFM, I always get my PMS symptoms so early that there is really no point in POAS. . FX for you!!!! @twodreamscollide yay for getting your hair done! That always makes me feel good. I’m sorry-conflicting symptoms are frustrating. FX for testing tomorrow! @jaylii. Sorry about the BFN. Hugs friend. Is there something special you can do for yourself this week? Also, did you do the CD3 blood work or at what point in your cycle did you test for those things? Did insurance (mostly) cover the bw? I think I’m going to try to do CD3 testing this next cycle to check.
Month/cycle: 6/7 (1 benched)
CD/DPO: 28/11
Timing: pretty good
Typical LP Length: 13-14
Testing: no—just WFAF
R/R: This is a pretty down part of my cycle—I start to get PMS symptoms (cramping/bloating/gas around 5-7dpo) so I have a week+ or knowing I’m out, but having to wait. I’m pretty bummed, but trying to keep faith that it will happen in time. On the upside, the sun is shining and I snuck in a run this morning.
CS/Q:
GTKY: I really enjoy all the things, but my mom makes a yummy sweet potato casserole that I love.
@twodreamscollide stay strong girl! You can avoid testing for a little longer. I dunno if it's really self control or that I have flown to KY and purposely didn't bring any tests with me. My first FMU testing shot will be DPO 11.
@jayliii sorry your temps are dipping. The cream cheese in the corn sounds amazing.
@dukestar5 Yeah, I didn't know about the CD 3 bloodwork until I got home from my appointment and read the section in TCOYF. I wasn't really expecting the doctor to do blood work for that appointment. In any case my LH and FSH levels were normal for luteal phase. The results had different normal ranges for different points in the cycle. I guess if we go a few more months I'll ask them to do CD 3 testing.
@jaylii sorry for the temp lowerings...I actually get so stressed about the temps towards the end of TWW I am considering not temping post O next time around (if there is a next time. positivity!) because I don't sleep well. Like, I wake up and check the clock every few hours, and then its hard to get back to sleep after 4am but still to early to test. ALso, glad all your bloodwork was normal!
@nimmle Hi DPO buddy! How do you feel about testing in a couple days? Will you test a few times after if needed? Glad the house is coming along and almost done. @SmashJam FX and holding out hope for you! and LOLs on the beer vs HPT comparison. I'm a huge beer snob so my beer choices tend to not be the $4 natty packs. @twodreamscollide good job on the wait today. Major FX for you tomorrow morning! And pumpkin chessecake. omg. must have! How was your hair appt? @jaylii Good news for the blood work coming back normal yesterday! Good tip of cream cheese in the mashed @dukestar5 *hugs* so sorry you are just WFAF right now. Is there something nice you can do for yourself this week? @Stargazer1lily high five on mopping floors. Probably one of my least favorite chores but i love the end result. @Bettyb1114 Happy Anniversary!
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 26/9
Typical LP Length: 14ish
Timing: pretty good (if I counted my O correctly). I'm no at the point in the wait where I am questioning everything!! Since my work schedule is all over the place, I'm not sure temping is for me...we shall see though.
Testing: Not unless AF doesn't show up by next week. Purchased my first every HPT this evening. Big moment, y'all.
R/R: Pretty inundated with work getting ready for Black Friday. I need eveyrone here to commit to getting air fryer, coffee pot and Kitchen Aid this holiday season. Oh, and blankets too. Another day of late posting. So sorry!
CS/Q: Feeling good. Ate my emotions today with work when it got stressful. Not sure if it was stress eating or onset of PMS. Slight pings in my stomach tonight...again, could be all the junk I ate today.
GTKY: What is your favorite thanksgiving food recipe? Stuffing!! Homemade 100% down to the bread that sits out for a day or two prior to cooking. All the spices, butter, celery. I CANNOT wait to have it since I am off during the day and have to work the graveyard overnight Black Friday hours.
@And846 hello DPO buddy!! I feel pretty ok. I go through phases where I'm like "this could be my month" followed by "AF is totally on her way". So I'm happy that my project has been such a distraction. FF has Thursday as my due date (even though recommended test date isn't until next week) so we'll see. How are you feeling? Btw also a big fan of stuffing. My sisters MIL has an amazing recipe with sausage in it the my sister is bringing to thanksgiving this year. Yum!
@nimmle i feel the same way! I was totally pumped and “what-if’ing” how tell tell DH the news next week as a bday gift to the complete opposite of did i O when i thought? Is timing right? And likewise of a project to keep us distracted. Do you have a lot to keep you busy the next few days? I’m thinking I’ll maybe test Friday morning or Monday morning. i was 3 years in the making for my parents so i think i have that on the back of my mind too...
@nimmle So glad you're getting close to finished with the house! That must be a relief. It's great that you can rely on your uncle to get everything to the auctioneer. @SmashJam Seriously loled at the money spent on beer vs HPTs! So true. What books did you buy today? @twodreamscollide Good for you for not testing early even though you wanted to! GL whenever you do decide to test. Triphasic charts are hard because you can't really know if it means anything until after AF starts or you get a positive. They can be such a tease! I hope your hair turned out well! @jaylii sorry for the falling temps, my friend. Big hugs. I love mashed potatoes too and definitely have to try making them with cream cheese. Yum! I've got to try that corn casserole too! @dukestar5 Still thinking of you and sending you big hugs because of your stupid early PMS symptoms. Glad you've been able to take care of yourself and get your mind off things. @Stargazer1lily Yay for getting some cleaning done! @And846 Yay for buying your first HPT! Agree with @nimmle that it's terrible for you but so good to eat once a year! And sweet potatoes are healthy, right? ETA: writing on mobile is HARD!
@dukestar@nimmle@offtoneverland@smashjam@And846 Thank you guys so much. My hair turned out great. However, BFN this AM with SMU. I'll post more details in today's TWW thread. All the emotions.
