R/R: This partner from our Atlanta office is flying in today and wants to have lunch, and I am dreading it because I am slammed with work and he is kind of intense. But today is my last full day in the office this week (flying to DC for work tomorrow), so that's a plus!

CS/Q: I started temping after when I suspect O was, so my chart is useless for this month.

Also just broke the news to my sister that DH and I will not be traveling to Turks and Caicos for the holidays due to zika. I don't think I am very popular, oh well!

@nitnat007 Sorry about the headache, hope it wears off in time for dress shopping because that sounds fun! What is the special occasion? We were invited to a wedding in Costa Rica next month, to which I was nopenopenope because of Zika, luckily it ended up overlapping with our honeymoon so I didn't have to convince DH not to go.

@legallykate Thanks! Just downing loads of water right now and hope that helps. We are all going to the Navy Christmas party, which is quite formal. So definitely not something that I have stashed at the back of the closet. Should be fun though. Where did you go on Honeymoon? You will definitely need to go to CR at some point. My folks live down there and I have spent a lot of time there, it is beautiful and one of my favorite places.

@nitnat007 we are going to Hawaii in December (which we also chose in part to avoid Zika, we love tropical but were scared off the Caribbean). I would love to go to CR at some point when Zika is no longer an issue. That's so cool that your parents live there, are they retired or do they work down there? Navy party sounds fancy and fun!

@legallykate How wonderful! I hope that you have an amazing trip! My parents are semi-retired. They do vacation rentals and manage/maintain their own home. They are getting ready to get out of that too soon though. 

@therealbitts Hopefully we will get to go soon. (hugs) I am sorry that you got that news. But as the other ladies have said, you can absolutely be sad for yourself and still be happy for her. It is just tough news to receive and digest. Be kind to yourself. 

@kindbytealikat Sounds like your body decided what it needed last night, and nap was at the top of the list! Nothing wrong with that. My sister will be bitter for a bit, but will get over it. She is just used to getting her own way all the time.

@kindbytealikat You should see if anywhere nearby offers it! It's basically gentle yoga but with TTC/IF procedures in mind. Like tonight our intention was patience with ourselves and our bodies, and lots of modifications are offered throughout the class in case anyone has recently had procedures or perhaps tender breasts or cramps from where they are in their cycle. 

@mrs_drc_rn Sorry for your loss. She sounds like she was a really cool lady. 

@luckypandas Girl! I have been craving some pad Thai. Did you make your Thai food?

@elolin I have a home staging business. The color consults are usually "make the walls a pale grey" but this one had built ins which made it more fun to play with contrasting colors while still being light and bright. Was the workshop for work?

@SkilledSailor Awesome! I love interior design type stuff so house staging would be right up my alley!  Yes - the workshop was for our staff team as we work with some indigenous families and really needed more training and information around the history and sensitivity.
