Hello everyone, firstly I'm so very sorry to barge in. I am not in a very good place at the moment after my daughter was stillborn a few weeks ago. I am hoping to connect with others who have also experienced stillbirth. I checked the late term & child loss board but I'm very confused as it looks as though no one is active there. Perhaps I'm incorrect or maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? May I please ask someone to kindly point me in the right direction? Again, please accept my apologies for posting here, I will be sure to post an intro and get involved in discussions once I am able to move over to this board (hopefully in the near future). Thank you in advance for your help.
astaluna Yeah, this does not go here. Sorry for your loss. You won't be able to delete this post, but please introduce yourself over in the TTCAL forum: https://forums.thebump.com/categories/ttc-after-a-loss We have a lot of great ladies over there who have experienced loss and would love to connect with you and help you through this time.

Thank you for being so lovely, I appreciate it more than you know. I previously posted on another site looking to speak to others in a similar situation and a lady responded and asked me what my symptoms were during my tww... needless to say I was extremely hesitant to join another community after that but I'm already so pleased that I joined here. Thank you once again.
First off, I am so sorry for your loss. I do encourage you to post on the child loss board as well. Many of the ladies over there do not post frequently, but come out of lurking with new posts. Might be worth a shot as well. Take care of yourself...
@astaluna I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm also sorry about that horrible post asking about your TWW symptoms -- that is appalling. I hope you are able to find some comfort on the TTCAL, Miscarriage/Loss and Child Loss boards. Please take care of yourself.
After my loss, I found in-person grief counseling extremely helpful because I felt like the people in my life just didn't understand. I hope you have people in your life who can support you. Don't hesitate to reach out for mental health care or other care you need. Wishing you the very best.
@astaluna really really sorry to hear about your loss. Please rest assured in the TTCAL board as well as the thread here that nobody will let another person get away with asking you such insensitive questions. We have rules here for very good reasons, to protect members of our community in vulnerable times. Please take the advice of the others above (some of whom you will find have also had losses) and join in with the community as well as seek professional support.

emmasemm Oh yeah, no way in heck would I let someone ask a loss momma something ridiculously insensitive!

@josie12367 Thank you so much for your kind response lovely, I will be sure to post there too. @adirat Thank you for your kind words, I was in a state of shock and cried for hours in my room after that stupid response. I didn't even reply and tell her where to shove her question because I just have absolutely no fight left in me anymore. I am so very sorry for your loss, thank you for reaching out to me. @emmasemm It is so nice to have found somewhere I actually feel safe to post, I have received wonderful responses and such a warm welcome both on the ttcal board and here also - I wish I could tell you how much it truly means to me. Thank you for your response and your kind words. @dpjennifer thank you again for pointing me in the right direction, I am forever in your debt
@astaluna similar to what @adirat suggested, my RE office has signs all over about a grief group for parents who have had a loss. Maybe the hospital has a suggestion for a group like this so you can chat with people who legitimately know what you're going through?
I'm so sorry for your loss, and so sorry someone was so insensitive and hurtful to you elsewhere. Unfortunately a lot of the side boards on TB aren't very active anymore, but I'm pretty sure there are lurkers on that board. Hopefully if you post there they can let you know of other ways they have found support.
@astaluna, I am sorry for your loss. I can only imagine what your are going through.
Unfortunately, none of the loss boards are very active. But I would follow PP advice and post and see if there are ladies in lurking. Again, wanted to invite you to post in the TTCAL thread, and I assume the benched/TTA, may possibly be appropriate for you too.
@50Wife Thank you for reaching out and also for your suggestion to join a support group - I think that is a wonderful idea and I will definitely look into it further. I haven't been able to speak to anyone apart from close family and my counsellor since the loss, but I think speaking to others who have gone through something similar would be a good starting place for me. Thank you again for taking the time to respond to me. @lalala2004 Thank you lovely, I felt so terribly selfish to have posted on this board yesterday. I was having a horrible day and was desperate, I just couldn't work out if I was looking in the wrong place as there didn't seem to be any recent activity on the late term loss boards. I thankfully found my way over to the TTCAL board and have had many kind ladies reach out to me, which I am so thankful for. Thank you so much again. @holly321 Thank you Holly, I wish no one would ever have to experience this pain. I am so grateful to have found TTCAL board and I will be sure to check out the other board you mentioned also. Thank you for responding to my post, I am so very grateful to all of the ladies here - you are all truly wonderful.
