Forgot to ask of anyone ever does potato soup for the freezer. I'm a bit conflicted about freezing potatoes. I was thinking about using some leftover Thanksgiving ham for a soup, since I know I'll be making a ham. (Or my husband will be.. whatever)
@trudytudy last pregnancy my friend made me a few frozen meals and one was a potato soup. It was amazing. So I think you’d be fine with a potato soup of sorts. No clue what the recipe was. I haven’t really spoken to that friend much this year or I’d ask for the recipes.
@trudytudy I've had bad luck with freezing potatoes, but one thing that's supposed to keep them from turning black is cream/dairy. I'd try freezing a little bit first just in case.
I made a double batch of delicious chocolate chip cookie dough last night. I used Sally's bake blog recipe. I baked some last night and plan to freeze the rest of the dough tonight.
