Hi im Angela. Huaband and I have been married 2.5 (almost) years and while we were never preventing,we didnt start really trying til this year. been a rough 2017. I had spent 4 months prior to 2017 (our start trying date) doing OPKs and only once did I get a positive reading, having PCOS and crazy irregular periods (21 to 52 days) my doctor was willing to do Clomid pretty quickly but neither worked. We had a chemical pregnancy but my doctor basically said I haven't been pregnant and wants me to move to a fertility specialist but I'm not quite there yet, mentally or financially. That said, I am thankful there are so many people who are talking about this becuase it can feel very lonely .
Hello and welcome @angterp07. I'm sorry about your chemical and the fact that your doctor brushed it off as a nonpregnancy, that's pretty insensitive. Hopefully your stay here is short and sweet and we can provide you some support in the mean time

Welcome @angterp07! Your OB sounds really insensitive and I'm sorry that she brushed off your CP like that. I understand that mental and financial hurdle you need to get over to get to the RE. Even if you're not ready to see an RE yet, you can definitely participate here. We've been through it all and welcome new faces. Good luck!
Welcome to the group. It sounds like you may need a doctor that is more involved in your care. It is definitely a tough journey, but I hope this group offers you the support you need

Im sorry about your CP. I have been through that too. My Gyno sent me to a reproductive endocrinologist after *TW* my second miscarriage. While I was bitter and sad to be having to go through this and knew In my heart that I wouldn't have a normal and easy pregnancy like pretty much everyone else I knew, it was also reassuring that I would be under a doctor who would monitor me. They run so many tests and have so much information that I think it might be a good route for you when you're ready; especially with regards to what's going on with ovulation. Wishing you the best of luck in this journey we find ourselves in. This is a great community here
