Panorama test came back this am. Exactly 1 week from when it was sent. And.... its a girl! My husband will be disappointed bc he really wanted a boy lol, well for like a minute anyways then he'll get over it. I havent decided how to tell him yet. 2yo DD will be happy she said she wanted baby sister
And...it's a boy! I've slowly growing more convinced since about week 6 of this pregnancy that it would be a boy, because I had personality changes that just... felt like testosterone. People would ask us what girls' names we were thinking of, and I just hadn't bothered to think about that. I did not expect to feel this way at all.
Chromosome tests are in, and it's now officially a boy according to actual scientific data as well as me!
Congratulations on your baby boy! Just fyi, babies don't start producing testosterone until 9-10 weeks.
How is everyone finding out there baby's sex already? How and how early can you find out I'm 9 weeks pregnant
Most if not all of these have been through genetic screenings that test for abnormalities. Typically most people find out around 20 weeks at their anatomy scan.
All genetic testing came back - they looked at every single chromosome (more than what was ordered!) as well as a handful of micro deletions, and all is normal!
And...it’s a GIRL!!! We’ll have another sweet little girl in our family.
Team Green! We did this last time and to @suchaglencoco and @sharkmama39 --you won't regret it. Its such a special moment to experience and definitely trumps any of my Type-Aisms wanting to plan every last detail lol. Its also a good way to go if you happen to have a slight preference, because by the time you get that baby in your arms, you won't care at all.
This is why I think we will wait. We wanted to be team green but my fiancé is wavering. I think the surprise will be worth the wait.
@Jlr025 congrats! I was told that Harmony doesn't test fetal sex, since it is simply testing mother as a carrier. I thought panorama was the one that tested fetal sex? I only ask because we are team green and I am doing harmony and did not see anywhere on the form to specify whether we wanted to know the sex or not.
@kpc914 I did a different genetic test, but in the results online it asked me if i wanted to find out or not. It was hidden until I clicked yes. Also, last time when they called me instead of seeing results online, the OB also asked if I wanted to know.
@kpc914 when they were doing my blood draw the phlebotomist asked me if I wanted to know the sex and I said yes so she checked the box on the form. When the NP called today she gave me the results and then asked again if I wanted to know the sex and I said yes! So I'm sure they will ask you before they say anything so you can stay team green!
We did the panorama test too and it's a BOY! I'm shocked, honestly I'm floored. I had a dream it was a girl and everything, I really though girl up until about a week ago, when I started having doubts. I'm so happy I was wrong, I think my son will love having a brother and now I get to reuse all my cute clothes
We got the MaterniT21 results back today, and everything was low risk, and it's a boy! I was... not even slightly shocked because I've been convinced it's a boy for a while.
FTM and I'm so excited!!!!!! First of all the genetics screening came back clear! And then she told me we're having a BOY! No one knows except hubby and the bump community lol. I'm planning a gender reveal party for the grandparents and a few friends just as a fun get together/celebration. I can't wait to share the news. All my friends have girls. I'm the only one with a boy so far! Hubby has major bragging rights among all our dad friends lol.
I found out today baby is healthy! Hoorayyy!! But waiting to look at sex until tonight when hubby and I are both home. Knowing it’s just sitting there is killing me! Cant wait to find out!
Really wanted a girl after DS but its confirmed to be a boy today, i am grateful and happy about it though, little guy is doing very well but the sack for the vanished twin is found with some remains so OB said i may bleed any moment.
Boy #3 confirmed! There was definitely a twinge of disappointment that we’re not having a girl, but imagine all the fun three boys will have! All low risk and well which is the most important thing. THREE BOYS!!!
I really thought it was a boy. I even did this silly old wives tale test by peeing into baking soda(it fizzed) before my blood work. I didn't have any morning sickness just an awefull smell of rotting meat. Anywho turns out it's a girl!
