Had to start this thread. I've managed to come down with a cold, thanks to an oh-so-wonderful colleague who showed up on a business trip still very sick. I even left work early today to finish working from home because I did not want to spread the germ-love at the office. I'm a really lucky girl right now - when I get sick, my husband makes me chicken Pho (Vietnamese chicken noodle soup) from scratch. I'm sitting here from my little work station at the dining room table now watching him strain the broth and shred the chicken. Being sick sucks, but I am very grateful he takes such good care of me.
@curiousfool1 omg I love Pho Ga! wish I can have that right now I have gestational diabetes so I can't touch any of the vietnamese food your husband is awesome!
my colleagues threw me a surprise baby shower during lunch today, I was totally surprised! Very thankful for having such thoughtful coworkers!

@curiousfool1 that is so sweet!! I know several of us are struggling with our husbands right now so it's nice to hear how sweet they can be. Enjoy your pho!
@einneh very thoughtful! So glad you were surprised by their efforts!
I have to say my husband. He is super protective and involved. He cooks every night and cleans and tries to make sure inhave as little to do around the house as possible even when his work hours as just as crazy as mine. When I am having anxiety over something he will do research to try and help. After we confirmed Weston is transverse today, he got me a birth ball and an ironing board so we can add more of the maneuvers from spinning babies

@DungeonTrollMel My LO was breech at 31 weeks and I was freaking out (in particular because of the really NOT FUN bladder/cervix kicks). I did some of the spinning babies moves and he was flipped back around in less than a week. Definitely do it now while he still has room.
I'm thankful for my daughter today. At like 6:30 this morning we were fast asleep and she comes knocking on the door, which she never does on a weekday nevermind that early, and which should have annoyed me as we still had an hour to sleep, but apparently the reason was that she wanted to announce that it was trash day...and I found it a little too funny to get mad (it's not like we've ever forgotten trash day?). Also, when I went into her room after she left for school I saw that she had been drawing a picture in her room and wrote under it "From Veronica To Mommy Daddy" which melted my heart that that's what she was doing while we trying to sleep this morning.
My so thankful for my one amazing coworker. I've had issues with others in the past and we've been working through it, but this one has been by my side since I started and was the first to know I was pregnant (she called me out on it). But this week she brought me a gift - we're supposed to have a shower at work but it hasn't happened yet, this was just her being sweet. And it was a handmade blanket that her friend made for me. She found the design online and decided it was perfect. And it was. My MIL happened to make the same one for us in different colors lol it's seriously one of my favorite designs that I don't even care that we have 2.
@kaitlinliz that is so cool! yea, we have some cool co-workers! one of mine had her mother knitted me a newborn hat...it was just so cool and personal. I was speechless!
@Einneh yes! I love it! I'll have to take a photo of the 2 blankets together cuz they're so perfect and post them. I've only known this woman since March when I started and she has seriously been the best
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Also, I have not been active at all with this pregnancy. I took DD on a "hike" at one of our local parks that has an awesome waterfall yesterday. We managed to walk for a couple of hours, including doing the steps twice (probably 100 steps each way). We had so much fun and I was so happy to be able to enjoy the nice weather with her and get in some exercise. She loved it too!
@mymulligan I agree that the cooler weather is much easier when pregnant! I definitely swell more when it's hotter.

Im thankful for my husband. He has been a champ for the most part. When he frustrates me I remind myself of this. We are doing our child birth prep class this weekend and he is so involved and so interested. @mymulligan I have struggled with being active as well. Your hike sounds amazing. Glad you got to have that moment. I love the cooler weather! @NYTino24 you have been through so much. Hoping that baby stays put as long as it needs to.
Also super thankful for my prenatal chiropractor. She spent 40 minutes alone yesterday on just my round ligaments to help me flip my transverse baby. She will stay late to book you for appointments after clinic if she knows you really need work or your schedule is nuts

I’m thankful that my DS is finally feeling better! He had HFM this week, which is the worst, because it’s so contagious you can’t leave the house for a full 7 days. We’re breaking out today, though!
@kaitlinliz wow those are so cute! the details! the turtles lol awwww!! isn't it nice to feel so much love people have for our babies already? some people can be so personal and it's very touching, mostly when it's from the people you least expected!
@rachelb51212 hoping your family will get better soon!!
