R/R: Rant - Hubs had to fly out today for meeting and might not be able to fly in tonight because of Hurricane Jose. Of course this is when I'm fertile. Hopefully he's back to HIO tomorrow.
CS/Q: finally my CM started to align with the OPK last night. So perhaps this thing might be right. We will see.
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share!
I'm going to show my nerd colors here but this is my quote from Gandalf the Grey from lord of the Rings:
"So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
For my 16th birthday my best friend cross stitched it into a picture frame for me and it stuck with me. I still have it.
KU friend is getting induced this morning!!! EEKKK!!! I'M SO EXCITED FOR THEM!!!! Ok, sorry done squealing. I'm really happy for them. Really ungodly envious, but glad. No where near done with their "take home baby" gift basket. But at least the fox is done? Lol.
CS/Q: Temp inched up a little, but didn't wanna move much this morning so FX DH cooperates and we get to bump uglies again tonight. Unexciting chart in spoiler. (Hopefully it works today).

Month/Cycle: 4/5
CD: 5
WAYDTGKU: not looking promising
R/R: I had better sleep last night, but I have to teach again today and I seem to have done something to my neck. Magic bag here I come. Just keeping a really close eye on hurricane Maria as MH is down in Turks and Caicos right now.
CS/Q: nothing to see here.
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share!
"Not my monkey's, not my circus" My mother has been saying it for years and it is with me always. A good reminder to not take on other people's baggage.
Hi guys, ( edited because copy/ paste screwed things up)
It has been a while since I posted here. We are ttc for number two, we had a chemical pregnancy last cycle, so this cycle I didn't temp and have just had my second positive opk. I wasn't going to participate on here like last time but after the chemical I feel like this is going to be a long road ahead and poor DH is dealing with the loss pretty rough and cannot help scrutinize my cycle. I paid for the advanced setting on FF and am having them guess my stuff for now
Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD: 31
WAYDTGKU: CM, EOD sex, OPKs, and started taking my temps today. Today was a pretty low temp today so I believe I haven't ovulated yet. but you never know
R/R: I tried the SMEP method, but my cycle post partum is less predictable and I have been having O pains for weeks... I am definitely going to temp next cycle. Also, I think breastfeeding is making my cycle longer. Last cycle I temped and ovulated on CD 29.
CS/Q: nothing right now.
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share! The quote below is from my favorite child's book from when I was young. It is the one thing I would ever tattoo on myself and has brought me much comfort as an adult looking back. And now that I have my daughter it brings on new meaning. Love it.
If you become a bird and fly away from me,” said his mother, “I will be a tree that you come home to.”
R/R: Rave: Today is kind of like my Saturday. Taking the cat to the vet, then just groceries and cleaning. Woot woot.
CS/Q:
GTKY: "Smooth seas never made a skilled sailor." I was going through a really hard time the first time I read that. And since then it has been so applicable to other challenges I've faced. It inspired this SN and I have a pretty large side tat of it.
@nimmle Sorry your H is stuck away! FX he gets back soon.
@nimmle FX YH makes it home to HIO during FW. @lurvleybunchococonuts Your posts always make me smile. I am in the need.more.coffee camp too! @josie12367 Oooooh, new lingerie sounds fun! I actually have a good stash from when we got married that I don't use very often, so it is fun to pull it out every once in awhile. Happy belated anniversary! How many years are you celebrating? @nitnat007 Friend Yay for better sleep! I am sorry about your neck pain. What do you think caused it? Also, it seems completely unfair that YH is in Turks and Caicos without you....though I am sure you would not want to be there during a hurricane. Praying he & his crew are safe! @Katm89 Welcome! I love that book--great quote! @ajsanders-2 I think you need to join me and @lurvleybunchococonuts for a coffee date! @SkilledSailor Yay for it being your "Saturday." It sounds like it will be a productive day. You mentioned you are going grocery shopping...that's on my list too...any fun meals planned for the week? I need some menu inspiration!
Month/Cycle: 6/6

Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier." "Not all of us can do great things, but we can all do small things with great love."
@lurvleybunchococonuts So excited for your friend! Also I see that little uptick in your chart. FX for you that you see a bump up, your timing looks awesome.
@josie12367 Hooray for some lingerie. I don't remember the last time I dressed up, if ever.
@ajsanders-2 I like that quote. So many good ones! And yes, it is too early.
@SkilledSailor Thanks! Looking on the positive side, things will get better! Enjoy your Saturday. Hope your cat is ok and it is just a checkup? Really good quote and something worthy of a tattoo for sure. Is that your only tat or do you have more?
@dukestar5 Yay for a new cycle!!! That is awesome. So glad that you get to start again. I definitely don't want to be down in T&C with MH right now. I have seen a few pics and it is really so sad.
@nitnat007 Thanks girly, I'm sure they'll enjoy the fox friend Glad you had better sleep last night, but that sucks about your neck! I hope it feels better soon. What's you're "magic bag"? O.o Hope yh stays safe and comes home soon! the quote!
@katm89 Welcome, sorry to hear about the CP. That's rough. FX you don't have to stay here long, but TTGP is great and full of awesome ladies
@skilledSailor Yay, so glad you're having a "saturday" today. Do you get to relax this weekend too?
@dukestar5 coffee friends! Good job with the 6 mile run! So happy you get to be off the bench, YAY!
@nimmle yeah, it's up a little FX it's a big jump tomorrow and stays up Also hope to keep HIO just in case O is delayed or does something weird. All the humping, all the time

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone, I do have a question I forgot to ask. Anyone take vitex? I contacted my doctor to see if I could take this next cycle. DH is very wary.
@Katm89 I have not tried it. But it is a good question for the "Chart stalks/questions" thread, as there a possibly ladies in other threads that could help you out as well. GL
WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opks, pnvs, green tea, acupuncture
R/R: rave - yesterday I was fairly productive at work and my classes went well, so that's good. MH and I also made it to the gym in the evening. rant - HSG is this afternoon, and I'm feeling a bit anxious about it.
CS/Q: Chart in spoiler for your stalking pleasure. Not much to see yet.
GTKY: Do
you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or
has changed your life in some way? Please share! I love quotes, but I'll refrain from making you all read tons of my favorites! One that I read that stuck with me is:
"Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new." - Ursula K. Le Guin, The Lathe of Heaven
I've been trying to post all morning. I'll try to come back for comments but I'm love titting everything.
Month/Cycle: 1/1

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, HIO, OPK
R/R: I've had 2 cups of coffee this morning. Yay!
CS/Q: I think I O yesterday but I'm still having EWCM today. I also had a small temp rise this morning. I'm going to keep hanging out here for another couple days to watch my temp.
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share! Not really. I guess treat others the way you want to be treated. I think kindness is important at all times.
@nimmle I hope YH gets back quickly and safely! Also, I love
that Gandalf quote. Such a lovely sentiment.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Fx you get more good timing in, but
your timing looks great regardless!
@josie12367 Awesome that you got some new lingerie! That’s
always fun. And congrats on a ten year anniversary! So impressive.
@nitnat007 Hope YH stays safe! Sorry your neck is hurting. I
may have recommended this before, but if not, check out the book “How to treat
your own neck” by Robin McKenzie. The exercises are very simple, but they
really work. There is a TON of medical literature supporting it. And I love
that saying too.
@Katm89 Welcome, and I’m sorry for your loss. I love that
book as well!
@skilledsailor I wondered about your screenname! That’s a
lovely saying.
@dukestar5 Cd 1 after a month of being benched is exciting!
Fx for this cycle.
@krashke Yay for all the things! I love that meme and the
blog/comic it comes from. I actually have a wall calendar of her comics in my
office right now.
@nimmle FX for good timing! Based on your BD last night you should still be good. @lurvleybunchococonuts my dad always used to say that to us I never knew it actually came from someone! @josie12367 new lingerie is fun! Do you have a favorite place you like to shop for it? (I may be in the market) @nitnat007 glad you slept better last night but boo for neck issues! Hope you feel better soon @Katm89 welcome! What book is your quote from? @ajsanders-2 your wedding anniversary is coming up! Do you and YH have any plans? @SkilledSailor is your cat ok? She was a little older, right? also love that your SN is from something meaningful. @dukestar5 yay for being off the bench! FX this is your cycle! @darkstar42 GL at your appointment today! @dukestar5 Yay for being off the bench! All I have planned so far are cranberry scones and lentil sloppy joes. I've been in a serious cooking rut lately. Any suggestions are very welcome!
@nitnat007@krashke It was just a check-up for the fluff ball. Thank you for asking!
@nitnat007 I have two more small tattoos on my wrists that I love too. I've been wanting one more for awhile but can't decide where to put it. Do you have any?
@lurvleybunchococonuts It's my birthday weekend so we have lots of fun stuff planned! I'm excited for it all but it definitely won't be a quiet weekend.
@darkstar42 I understand feeling anxious about the testing. FX your results are good. Update us later?
R/R: I'm in the office this morning but then heading home to work from the couch for rest of day! I had a terrible day at work yesterday so I'm really looking forward to this little bit of respite!
CS/Q: for stalking - I'm only getting negative OPKs so maybe that rando spotting wasn't the start of my FW afterall, although a slight temp dip this morning... ah I just don't know, bodies are weird and difficult
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share! My mum always says "it is what it is" as her mantra. I also love this mantra "I am a non-profit unicorn"...just when non-profit work gets me down (taken from Vu Lee, the author of the Nonprofit AF blog).
from yesterday but wanted to add something! @josie12367 We don't have "you me her" on US Netflix! MH and i started watching it when we were in Europe and it was cold and raining so we stayed one night. when we got back i tried to start it again and I couldn't find it!! so @nitnat007 i'm not sure you can find it.
also welcome @dukestar5 glad you're off the bench!
R/R: Called the Dr`s office yesterday to ask about my results from the ultrasound I did last month, all she told me was it was a normal routine exam. I think I`m more confused now then before.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share! I can`t think of one.
@josie12367. MH plays short stop or first base. That's what he tells me, or else I likely wouldn't know lol @dukestar5. Glad you will be off the bench SOON & back over here! Sad we likely won't overlap. However, I haven't been in TWW since 8/12, so look I'm excited to break outta WTO!!
@krashke I hyperbole and a half Also your favorite work saying Honestly I haven't looked into in far, but that quote is attributed to Mark Twain, but I don't believe it's ever been confirmed/verified.
@darkstar42 Yay, being productive is always a good feeling. Hope this afternoon goes well Lol, thanks, FX we continue with the timing I know how quickly what looks like -1 turns into -3.
@mrstmoose FX your temp stays up up UP! Also, hope to join you in TWW soon btw dats some good lookin' timing girl
@canucklehead123 Enjoy your webinar! (at least enjoy it as much as it's possible to enjoy a webinar lol). I'm sorry to hear about your bad day yesterday. Do you know what your typical LP is?
@stargazer1lily that sucks that you didn't get a better response from your doctor's office. So does that mean everything looks good? What were they doing the US for?

@nimmle FX YH gets home safe and in time!! @lurvleybunchococonuts lol 'bump uglies' -- that's a good one! My LP was 15 days last cycle...before that it was shorter (more like 11 days) so it seems as though my cycle is going through some changes -- perhaps it's the seeds!! @katm89 welcome! @darkstar42 good luck this afternoon!! I will be sending good thoughts your way. @krashke that is the best saying!!!! I want to get a t-shirt made so I can wear it to work... and tell people off without actually telling them off, lol
@lurvleybunchofcoconuts It is essentially a hot/cold pack. But it is filled with oat grains. I just throw it in the microwave and use it on my neck. Best thing, especially in winter. I toss it under the covers a few minutes before I climb in and no cold sheets!
@darkstar42 Thank you for that recommendation. I will have to check it out. Neck pain can really be the worst. It tends to affect so much. GL for your HSG this afternoon. Let us know how it goes.
@skilledSailor I dont have any myself. But I have toyed with the idea for years. I just struggle to settle on something that would be meaningful to me in years to come. I have a few thoughts though. Glad the fluff ball is ok.
@blackhottamales Sigh....if it isnt on US Netflix, it likely wont be on the Canadian one either. Thanks for the heads up. Back to the drawing board.
I survived the HSG! It was definitely not fun, but not terrible either. Very intense cramping as they inserted the contrast dye, but it faded within a minute or so. I still feel kind of sore and scraped up, but that's pretty much always how I feel any time a speculum is used. The good news is, my tubes aren't blocked and everything looked normal! They kept saying how people tend to have a higher ttc success rate after an HSG, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
Thank you all for your support, it really means a lot!
@darkstar42 Yay!!! I'm so glad everything looked good and that it wasn't terrible. I don't want to get your hopes up either, but we have had grads from the HSG magic FX for you!!!

Love it.
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: The usual and everything.
R/R: It is to early to tell yet...I think I am still half asleep.
CS/Q: Nothing to show.
GTKY: 'It is our choices that show what we truly are far more than our abilities.' -Albus Dumbledore

WAYDTGKU: All sorts of things
R/R: Rave: Today is kind of like my Saturday. Taking the cat to the vet, then just groceries and cleaning. Woot woot.
CS/Q:
GTKY: "Smooth seas never made a skilled sailor." I was going through a really hard time the first time I read that. And since then it has been so applicable to other challenges I've faced. It inspired this SN and I have a pretty large side tat of it.
@nimmle Sorry your H is stuck away! FX he gets back soon.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Man that quote is so true. Wish I'd learned that one sooner.
@josie12367 Aw yay! Happy anniversary!
@nitnat007 Um that quote is hilarious. I love it! Sorry your neck is hurt! You're having a rough start to the week. Hope it gets better!
@Katm89 Welcome! I love that book--great quote!
CD: 1 (First time I am excited about CD1. lol. Finally off the bench and ready to rock and roll this cycle )
WAYDTGKU: charting, PNVs
R/R: I finished a 6 mile run this morning and now I'm enjoying some coffee.

A few favorites from Mother Teresa

"Not all of us can do great things, but we can all do small things with great love."
DD: 07/19/18
EDD: 06/22/22
@josie12367 Hooray for some lingerie. I don't remember the last time I dressed up, if ever.
@nitnat007 Yikes! I hope YH stays safe.
@Katm89 Welcome back!
@ajsanders-2 love the HP quote.
@SkilledSailor Glad it's your weekend
@Katm89 Welcome! And what a lovely quote.

GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share!

CS/Q: Chart in spoiler for your stalking pleasure. Not much to see yet.
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share! I love quotes, but I'll refrain from making you all read tons of my favorites! One that I read that stuck with me is:
"Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new." - Ursula K. Le Guin, The Lathe of Heaven
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD: 18
Also, I love that Gandalf quote. Such a lovely sentiment.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Fx you get more good timing in, but your timing looks great regardless!
@josie12367 Awesome that you got some new lingerie! That’s always fun. And congrats on a ten year anniversary! So impressive.
@nitnat007 Hope YH stays safe! Sorry your neck is hurting. I may have recommended this before, but if not, check out the book “How to treat your own neck” by Robin McKenzie. The exercises are very simple, but they really work. There is a TON of medical literature supporting it. And I love that saying too.
@Katm89 Welcome, and I’m sorry for your loss. I love that book as well!
@ajsanders-2 that Dumbledore quote.
@skilledsailor I wondered about your screenname! That’s a lovely saying.
@dukestar5 Cd 1 after a month of being benched is exciting! Fx for this cycle.
@krashke Yay for all the things! I love that meme and the blog/comic it comes from. I actually have a wall calendar of her comics in my office right now.
@lurvleybunchococonuts my dad always used to say that to us I never knew it actually came from someone!
@josie12367 new lingerie is fun! Do you have a favorite place you like to shop for it? (I may be in the market)
@nitnat007 glad you slept better last night but boo for neck issues! Hope you feel better soon
@Katm89 welcome!
Take it easy today! Also love Hyperbole and a Half!
@mrstmoose awesome timing for your O!

@nitnat007 @krashke It was just a check-up for the fluff ball.

WAYDTGKU: all the things
@josie12367 We don't have "you me her" on US Netflix! MH and i started watching it when we were in Europe and it was cold and raining so we stayed one night. when we got back i tried to start it again and I couldn't find it!! so @nitnat007 i'm not sure you can find it.
also welcome @dukestar5 glad you're off the bench!
hi everyone else--"see" you soon.

WAYDTGKU: BBT,CM,OPK,HIO
R/R: Called the Dr`s office yesterday to ask about my results from the ultrasound I did last month, all she told me was it was a normal routine exam. I think I`m more confused now then before.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: Do you have a quote or saying that has stuck with you for a while and/or has changed your life in some way? Please share! I can`t think of one.
@dukestar5. Glad you will be off the bench SOON & back over here! Sad we likely won't overlap. However, I haven't been in TWW since 8/12, so look I'm excited to break outta WTO!!

@lurvleybunchococonuts lol 'bump uglies' -- that's a good one! My LP was 15 days last cycle...before that it was shorter (more like 11 days) so it seems as though my cycle is going through some changes -- perhaps it's the seeds!!
@katm89 welcome!
@lurvelybunchococonuts - thanks girl! Not going to lie, I could use a day off soon!
Thank you all for your support, it really means a lot!

@nitnat007 love that saying! Hope your DH is safe down there! This hurricane season is bonkers
@katm89 so glad you are here with us this cycle, and (tw) so sorry about your chemical... so devastating. Just a little fyi... we usually add TW (trigger warning) when talking about losses and other stuff just so people can be aware when reading a post. I love your quote! I feel like ive heard it before but not sure where!
@ajsanders-2 Any Dumbledore quote works for me!
@Skilledsailor I always wondered about your SN!!! Love this story!
@dukestar5 yay CD1 buddy!!!
@krashke lucky you! At my job, someone elses poor work is always my business lol
@darkstar-42 Hope your HSG went well!
@mrstmoose could be today is o day for you... its tough with that extra EWCM....
@canucklehead123 the creamy quality CM is the start of your FW... the spotting can be from something unrelated, though... leftover from AF maybe. You can usually tell (tmi) by color (brown for old red for new)
@stargazer1lily SO GLAD I'm not the only one who didn't have a quote! lol

It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're the lion or the gazelle - when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.
