My husband and I have decided to start trying for baby number 2! Our daughter is 18 months old, so we're a little rusty on tips and tricks to get pregnant! When we conceived our daughter it was when we decided to stop trying.. But I don't want to get that far this time! So any tips you momma's might have will be helpful!

When you feel comfortable, jump into the dailies (WTO or TWW, depending on where you are in your cycle)

I highly recommend you read the post tagged "read this first", lurk, and intro in the newbie intro thread.  We are a large community of amazingly supportive ladies all trying to get pregnant, many for the first time.  If you're truly looking to join the community to get AND GIVE support, please stick around.  If you are only interested in randomly asking a question and then never contributing, you likely won't fit in here.  Also, please don't be surprised if this thread fills with gifs and snark.  

ETA: in all honestly my initial reaction to this thread is 1) insert P into V and 2) if there were "tips and tricks" to getting pregnant for the love of all that is good and holy someone please tell me too (i.e. there are no "tricks" to getting pregnant otherwise we'd all be happily knocked up at this point) 

ETA x2: sorry if that ^^ was harsh, I'm touchy today, so don't take it personally OP.

TTC an alive baby #1. Any tips beyond what 2 RE's, a MFM specialist, my OB, my crunchy herbalist friend, my therapist, my family doctor, or the book TCOYF has told me?

Having a bitter, hateful, angry TTCAL day... or week... or life...

1) I'm not a momma. If fertility treatments don't work, I may never be a momma. 

2) Put the P in the V.

3) "Just Relax. It'll happen when you least expect it." Lie on your back after sex. Better yet, put your legs in the air or have your husband hold you upside down. Drink pomegranate juice and eat pineapple cores and try supplements and Chinese Medicine and yoga and acupuncture and meditation and teas and a keto diet and a gluten free diet and take Mucinex and burn candles and pray and whatever you do just RELAX. Some of this advice may help. Or none of it.

@beanship  Personally I prefer to "eat all the noodle and hope there really is a magical correlation between noodles & getting KTFU."  Also, who was it that their sister did a fertility spell or two for them?   I know it's a TTGP grad, but can't recall who, I wanna say it was vflux33? That might be what we're missing

@spottedginger it was vflux33 I think. She's pregnant with twins after her first IUI, so.... it certainly didn't prevent pregnancy lol.

spottedginger My friend's mom is a witch, and was talking seriously about getting and burning some sort of spell candle for fertility and healthy pregnancy.  SERIOUSLY considering it at this point. I mean, what can it hurt?
And if I'm going to be all like "I'd sell my soul for a healthy, live baby" then I probably shouldn't be hypocritical and against magic spell candles! Right?

My sister did a fertility spell for me involving these 2 purified stones right before my first and only IUI (2 because she knew we wanted 2 kids total)...  she never shared all the details the spell with me so I only know what I said in that original thread. *TW guess who's now taking credit for our twins?!?! lol. I mean, I guess I can't say for sure it didn't help, buuuuuuuut probably the Clomid, trigger, and IUI had something to do with it   I did take the stones to my appointments and I'm sort of ashamed to admit I actually still do despite MH's protests. I mean they're already in my purse, may as well just let them hang out in there for longer.

Things I tried for getting KU that didn't work:
Sex, temping, opks, monitoring CM, legs in air after sex, red raspberry leaf tea, green tea, pineapple core, pomegranate juice, acupuncture, progesterone/clomid/IUI, getting drunk, going on vacation, getting drunk on vacation, relaxing

TW - things that worked for getting KU
Pay a RE all the money you were saving for a house down payment and hope/wish/pray/stress that you will get 1 viable embryo

have unprotected sex and there's a good chance you'll get KU within a year

Seriously.  Read the room.  Read the newbie guides and lurk.  Do everything PPs have said, or none of it.  I mean, well, start with the P in V thing and go from there.  It's not rocket surgery.

We are also not your personal google.  But feel free to join the weekly TFAS thread, and daily wto/tww threads, once you're ready to join the community i.e. give as well as recieve support along your ttc journey.

I'm addition to all of the other wonderful advice, I would recommend eating noodles.
