@bb3vj3n I agree with all that was said...Register for the basics. To me, the most important part of the registry was WHERE I registered. I registered for so much crap I didn't need or couldn't even manage when baby was born and I needed to return a lot.
Register for the big ticket items - car seats, crib and mattress, baby swing, etc...people might chip in or you can get a completion discount and buy the item for a nice discount.
Everything else is $20 or cheaper. That's the great thing about early baby stuff - most of it is very affordable and you can decide along the way I'd you really want it.
