I'm not excited that fall is coming. My beautiful flowers are dying, I miss the outdoor pool already, and I am absolutely dreading flu season which coincides with fall. Oh, and pumpkin spice *anything* makes me gag.
I am kind of sort of looking forward to the fall festivals, my homemade apple pies, pumpkin patch visits, and delicious stews/soups that I make every autumn. But it's not better than splashing in the pool with the hot sun warming my perpetually cold body.
@krashke - Chipotle is gearing up to sell their own queso!! If that's the reason you favor Qdoba over Chipotle. But if you just like the flavor better, to each their own. We used to have a place called Bajio that made the best shredded beef chimichangas. It was like Chipotle/Qdoba but infinitely better. But it closed because the location was very unfortunate and difficult to get to. I miss it all the time.
@wishiwaspreggo That is one of the reasons I favor Qdoba and they have a really good taco menu with different variations. I will def give Chipotle's queso a go when its out.

I'm an Uggs hater. Sorry folks! I love fall, partly because this is only the third year I've lived somewhere that actually has four seasons. Northern CA has warmer and cooler, and AZ has unbearable hot and comfortably warm.
My UO: I hate coffee and anything coffee flavored. That means PSLs are out. Pumpkin pie, on the other hand...
I wouldn't survive winter in NYC without uggs. Winter is so depressing and cold and gross and if I had to do anything more involved than put my feet directly into fluffy boots I don't think I'd survive.
@sarawifenow. +1 for not liking summer. Mostly, the dead of summer where EVERYWHERE sweats and it is too hot to breathe.
I understand why people would put it under for animals. However, if they actually like it or think it goes that way or doesn't matter, they are dead wrong.
@josie12367 agreed 100% I told my die hard bff that I have never seen any Star Wars movies and she was like "OMG we have to watch them!" and I was like "or we don't have to watch them..."

@SkilledSailor lol...yeah....I've been told that for real by my husband's friends. My husband loves them, but I'm like @krashke, I didn't want to watch, and fell asleep pretty fast. I got through the first two and couldn't do anymore than that...
I'm with @josie12367 and @krashke...I've tried so hard to get into Star Wars but I can't get past the first one. DH doesn't like it either though. My UO -- I thought the movie adaptation of Fantastic Beasts was horrible. DH and I made fun of it the whole time.
@doxiemoxie212 Haha! That gif! I fully agree that the niffler is adorable. I want one as a pet! That and the no-maj (whatever his name was) we're the only redeeming qualities of the movie though, IMO.
@skilledsailor I can never keep star wars and the other one straight and blend them together into "star force" with embarrassing frequency. My husband is a huge fan, so I wonder if it's a subconscious resistance.
My UO - I hate grocery shopping, and will do just about anything to avoid it. Amazon pantry, grocery delivery, and shop for you services are all things I use - my husband thinks its ridiculous, but SO much easier.
@offtoneverland - But Fantastic Beasts was originally a written as a screenplay, wasn't it? Like, the movie wasn't adapted from a book. So, did you just not like who the cast as the main characters?
Follow-up UO: I liked Fantastic Beasts better than most of the original HP movies.

@pebbledam It was kind of adapted from a book, but the one JK Rowling wrote was like an encyclopedia, so the story in the movie was original. I didn't like the characters or the forced storyline. And I don't know how they'll make several more movies! So funny that you liked it more than the Harry Potter movies.
@offtoneverland - Isn't the encyclopedia-type book you are talking about the book Scamander is "writing?" I feel like the movie wouldn't be considered an adaptation of the fictional book JK Rowling wrote because it had no story line. But either way, I rather likes it. And I like the original Star Wars, so we clearly don't like the same films!

@pebbledam That's a good point. I always thought of it as an adaptation even though the book itself didn't have a real storyline. Maybe I should try watching again since I think I'm the only person that didn't like it. Maybe we shouldn't have been drinking through it.
Apparently being a fan of Star Wars is an UO this week I'm with @pebbledam the original star wars are great! Ya'll are crazy. How did you not grow up watching them? The newer ones (all except episodes IV, V, & VI IMO) are meh. I hated Jar Jar and as much as I Natalie Portman, but not as Queen Amidala. I'll watch any of the films, but the first three (by release date) were pure gold compared to the rest. Also, I rather enjoyed Fantastic Beasts. #TeamNifflers ETA: +1 for Qdoba! I'm excited to see where the Fantastic Beasts series goes. I'll bet money we will meet younger Dumbledore, and seeing the Wizard world in the US is very intriguing. There is so much potential with real life history and seeing where the Wizard world will fit into that. I didn't think the first movie was amazing, but it had a lot of good things, the ideas have real potential for an interesting series. And Johnny Depp is cinematic gold, I know we'll see more of him. It can definitely be looked at as a money grab because HP is a cash cow, but that doesn't mean they won't do a good job with it! Honestly, I thinking Eddie Redmayne overacts in everything he's in. Someone needs to tell him to turn it down a notch.
@lalala2004 I disagree on your opinion of Eddie Redmayne. I haven't seen Fantastic Beasts (mainly because I don't really watch movies) but there is something about him that I just cant get enough of. I do kind of have thing for redheads.
