  • @adirat glad to see you posting here :)
Where did you guys go to see the eclipse?  It looks like it would have been amazing to be directly in the path - I'm considering trying to check out the next one since it'll be way easier for us to get to.

  • @50wife We went to Missouri. It's very much worth seeing the totality. My husband doesn't really like traveling and even he said it was totally worth it.

My brother lives in Texas so next time we will go stay with him and drive to the Waco area I think. It also passes through Cleveland. So a few good options!

  • @aurora1973 Thank you for your kind words <3 I'm so glad you got a machine and things are going better with sleep! How scary to think you aren't breathing during sleep!

And you are a good friend and support for her during IF.

  • @redpuma119 This is totally off-topic but why does it seem like your posts are in a different font from everyone else's posts? Do we have font options?

  • @redpuma119 Nope, doesn't bother me at all. If that works better for you, go for it! I was just confused.

  • @Redpuma119 I do the same thing!!! The sticky notes program in windows makes replying soon much easier than scrolling up and down :D

  • @lurvleybunchococonuts I actually learned to do this from some of the women on TTGP about a year ago.  I can't remember who, but it really does come in handy!
  • @Redpuma119 @lurvleybunchococonuts I duplicate my chrome browser and have one that I reply and the other one I scroll. #nerd
  • @SkilledSailor here you go!! My sister's sister-in-law made them this weekend so I had her send me the recipe. She said she used boxed brownie mix even though the recipe is for homemade. I'm not a baker so I'd probably go the boxed route as well

@Redpuma119 mentioned up there that she adds oreos. Might have to give that a shot!! Sounds disgustingly amazing
  • @jrm_14 Ooh, I love home projects! What kind of tile did you choose? And yes, we use our own couch sometimes. It's cost effective and available in a pinch. As for the winter garden, yup. In my area, if planting from seeds, you're suppose to start as early as late July for some plants up to Sept. 1st for others. We'll be planting the carrots this weekend.
  • @skilledsailor YAY!  I planted some carrot seeds this spring :)  They're not QUITE ready (or maybe they're just as good as they'll get).  They definitely grew little carrots, but they're not very big.  I did kaleidoscope carrots (all diff colors) cause DH is weird and doesn't eat anything "orange".  I hope your "winter" garden continues to do well!

  • @BusinessWife sent you a PM with the basics  :)
  • @lurvleybunchococonuts Haha is there a reason he doesn't eat orange foods? We tried carrots last year and just got little nubs too. We got them a big, deep container this year. Our carrots are spoiled rotten.
  • @SkilledSailor lmao, "because he's a nut case" is the short answer.  Because he's a nut case that says orange is an unnatural color and shouldn't be eaten, however; he states cheese is "yellow", but pumpkin pie is orange.  Also, cheetos don't count.  He'll eat non-orange carrots, and will refuse to eat any candy that's orange.  Upside whenever I want oranges or clementines in the house he stays out of them.  So long answer is still, "because he's a nut case".  In reality he's just weird-o that will wear orange, but not eat it?  *shrug*
