@WillRunForWine21 AHHHHH! I am so happy for you guys! Your story of how you told YH made me cry (and although science may still some of the ttgp moments, I found it gives back in extra moments because of all the extra ultrasounds during pregnancy). I love that you got your BFP! The beta numbers are great! Happy and Healthy 9 months!
i haven't been posting the last few weeks because life is crazy but I had to come check for grads!! congrats ladies!!! @cards10 and @fishsticks-n-custard. So so so happy for you ladies!!!!!!!
I really wasn't going to do one of these, but, I had some encouragement so, here it is. I'm not benched for knee surgery anymore because it looks like I'm totes KU! Betas are good (69 and 198) so, I think this is really happening!
CD/DPO of first BFP? 27/?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 6 months, 5 cycles (4AL)
What did your chart look like? There's really not much to show since I stopped temping before O was confirmed because I was benched for surgery to fix my knee. I thought that the attempt on CD9 was moot for sure, since I usually O around CD17, but evidently I Od earlier this time. The O pain on CD15 is what's most perplexing, as I always get a temp spike to confirm O the next day. I have come to know and depend on that pain to pinpoint O (along with temping) every cycle. If that was, in fact, O day, then that's 6 days from our last attempt. I think that's part of why I didn't believe it at first and have been peeing on so many things to confirm. If there's one thing I've learned from TTGP, it's that youareregularuntilyouarenot. Indeed.
What were you doing TGKU? CM, BBT, PNV, B6, green tea
How was your timing? Since I stopped temping after finding out about the surgery, I can't say for sure on days, but evidently it was good!
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? On the day that I decided to test, I was super emotional and noticed that I had creamy cm on what was supposed to be CD1. Since testing, I've had some sore boobs, fatigue, and a little bit of a food aversion feeling yesterday.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? We had just gotten into a fight about something totally dumb (hi emotions) and I went to test. After I saw the line on the wondfo, I just went upstairs to his office and was like, "Hi. I'm sorry about the fight. I think I'm pregnant." He got the biggest eyes and smile and was like, "Are you serious?" Then I proceeded to pound water so that I could pee on a FRER to confirm. We just sat there, hardly saying anything, while I pounded water until I could pee again. When the FRER was positive too, we hugged and I kind ok danced around a little bit. Nothing cute or planned (the shock and PGAL brain kind of robbed that part a bit) but it was certainly a special moment nonetheless.
Anything else to add? I originally posted this in my BMB intro as a shout out to any TTGP lurkers because, as I said, I wasn't going to do one of these. However, someone reminded me that not everyone here lurks BMBs and I thought that maybe I shouldn't ghost without telling you all properly how amazing you are...
You guys, I'm really going to miss being a part of your community. You ladies are amazing, intelligent, real, funny, scrappy, and so so very strong. There are some of you (and I hope that you know who you are) whose strength is just astounding. The ability that some of you have to not only keep going, but to keep going with the unwavering support for others and the comitment to keep bringing all the science, despite your own trials-- well, that has just been more of a privilege and a lesson to witness than I could ever say. I know FOR CERTAIN that there are things that I would not have been able to get through without you all and I am super thankful for your friendship. I'll be stealth lurking TTGP like a stage 5 clinger, LTing from the bushes, and cheering all of you amazing ladies on so hard in your journeys.
